Did a ****load of cardio yesterday, threw in some calfs and abs at my house, took my dog for 3 short walks yesterday.. .hot as hell outside
also had a semi cheat meal last night.. it was pretty much paleo friendly EXCEPT the 6 tsp of flour I used (only 30 grams total carbs)
Low Carb Chicken A La King
2 cups cooked chicken breast, chopped
1 lg green bell pepper
1 med onion
6 tsp flour
1.5 cups almond milk (unsweetened)
butter
4 oz of pimentos, chopped
4-8 oz of fresh mushrooms, sliced
Warm the pan up and melt some butter. Add in onion, mushrooms and bell peppers. Sautee until peppers are soft. Add in flour. Cook flower to reduce raw taste, until the veggies are covered and flour is browned. Add in black pepper and some garlic. Add in almond milk, bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Add in chicken and pimentos.
Serve over cauliflower rice
Cauliflower rice
1 whole head cauliflower
microwave safe bowl
chop up the cauliflower, throw into the food processor until it is the size of rice
put in steam safe microwave safe container and cook for 4-5 minutes. Use in place of rice. You may spice it, but use no salt.
