I've only been at it 6 months or so...my workout book is almost filled up, I was reading my first week of the book yesterday...

I saw lots of 135x5 or 10 bench :D Need to check what my bench is these days...but I have seen so much improvement in just 6 months, it makes the small day to day changes seem so much bigger
 
I need help guys, which schedule would eb best for the body:

Work is 1600-0000 so I have two options:

1 - workout after work, around 0100 after taking supps and whatnot. would have a belly full of meals and energy

2 - sleep after work, wake up at 8 to have chow, wait until 10am or so to workout, chow again, video games, chicks, etc until work.
 
Option 2 would be for me... if I were in you're situation I would dabble in fasted training. Just would have a good stim on hand for the morning workouts.

Well the problem is fasted workouts are impossible :( Getting of at midnight means I wake up at 7 or 8 am, and breakfast closes at 0830, so there is no time for training, and theres no way I am going to cut myself short some sleep. I think I am going to do option 1 because it sucks running when its hot here :(

Once I get back in the states though I think I'll do everything fasted...especially running, I can just push myself way harder when I run fasted.

I am having trouble getting all of my calories in as well :( I need to get a solid schedule for that. They have the 24 hour grab and go station here so I can always get it, I just haven't been hungry as much as I should be...time to start forcing it down I suppose. Oh yesterday was a rest day, meant to go run 5 miles but I had italian...something in the sausage bothered me pretty bad so I was not feeling it at all

Well I liked option 2 but if your gonna do whatever you want why even mentio it you'll just cut the lace holes off anyway! ;) Only other reason I like it is you get to have you big boy pump on during all the down time around the ladies with option 2.

As far as food man you want a fast way to get in your calories? Eat almonds. No preparation, plenty fiber, great source of healthy fats, 1 0z/small handfull is 150-175 cals, 6 g protein, 5-6 grams carbs 3 of which is fiber then 15 grams of mostly mono-unsaturated fats. That and or get some beef jerky for snacking while at work. 1 oz is worth like 2-3 oz of beef protein wise but much lower fat. Worst case scenario a table spoon of Extra virgin olive oil once or twice a day.

Great lift by the way, and those Arnolds are not meant to be easy you have already blast your front delts with bench, then your rear delts with the rows, so it isn't going to be possible for you to lift what you would normally on that exercise.
 
haha I liked the option 2 better as well!! for the same reasons. I hear you though on running in that blasted sun...

How does it being hot increase fat burning? If anything cold weather does... Sweating and losing water is NOT fat loss.
 
I've wondered about that. People say they lose weight, but as soon as you rehydrate you gain the weight right back.

Obviously you guys aren't that dumb, but i don't know if you burn more fat because you are sweating more?

It's the elevation in body-temperature that helps burn that extra bit of fat. That is why people take thermogenics... to raise the body-temp.

SLDL I am now using lbs and not kg plates so I got confused and did too much weight, lol. Everything else I busted my ass on to make all the Dbags in the gym feel like idiots...seriously some dude set up the hammer smith for 20 minutes to do toe raises with 90 lbs...and then a group of 5 guys was squatting 135....that **** does nothing for your body if you take a 5 minute break....grr.

And now I have to worry about running in the sun you buttheads, lol. Oh well, I guess I can swim after the gym now too :D

OK so this is the new schedule, tell me what you think:

Midnight = SLEEP
7-8AM = Wakeup
730-830=CHOW
830-930=digestion complete
830/930=take pre-wo and head to gym
845/945=be in gym
10/11=be done in gym or on track
SHOWER
about 1200= chow again
still have 4 hours until work :D
About 230pm - chow again
4pm - work
about 5pm - chow again
about 7pm - chow with my two ladies
about 10pm - chow again
midnight - off work, get to sleep, take hghpro while at work still
 
that schedule looks WAY too good for a deployed guy!!!!! You are supposed to be miserable while deployed curse you!!!! Chow with Chicks???? JERK

That sounds a hell of a lot better than your old schedule! Dinner with the girls... Nice! Sounds like the intensity is up a little more too.
 
I've been in 5.5 years now :D Thinking about getting out and becoming a contractor to be honest. We'll see how that goes.

Also, I am VERY sorry guys, but the hot chick I eat dinner with, and who happens to be single, wants to work out with me at midnight...so it looks like the midnight schedule is temporarily approved...she said she will go with me for a week trial, and will quit if she can't hang...

Oh and the schedule kicks so much ass lol, I have no idea what to do with myself...like today I just slept until 2PM, woke up at 10, thought, "hmm I should go shower, NAHH" went back to slepe until 2, buahahahah
 
Oh by the way, those two chicks got in a fight, and I was chilling with the single one until about 5AM, and the married one walked by and ignored both of us lol. I think they are competing for my attention, which makes me laugh my ass off :sgrin:

Duder I agree...I did 12/7 from Jan until late August, and people bitch about working long hours here...I laugh at them o.0 Add in the fact that Balad is the nicest base here, there's 2 damn pools! Fkn Saddam's theatre (which is weird...the seats are highest in front and about 20ft lower in back, never see that in America) a damn Italian restaurant, and people complain! I don't know what up with soldiers these days, I think this place is paradise... seriously, 15 bucks for a 30 minute massage while my clothes dry in the laundry....HEAVEN

OK I am happy with everything but deads...for some reason they are just lower than they have been...I added like 50 pounds and 5 reps to my warmup weight...I wonder if that was enough to wear me out? I can't figure out why I am not moving up...although I am moving leaps and bounds in my other upper body exercises...so it may just be that my arms are completely fried and I just can't hold on to the bar any more...MrKleen what do you recommend here??

Those DB pullovers are the culprit I think...100lbs is probably what my upper body weighs...I have to fight to keep my ass on the bench lol. I can feel them from my tris to the very bottom of the lats, and even in my abs...just not sure...my deadlift seems like the ONLY exercise that is dropping, should I embrace it and just lower the weight and improve the reps/form? It just feels so odd moving up in therything else and moving back on those...just lookin for some advice :)

Oh, I brought the female who is available with me, she was hating life lol. Mainly brought her so she could get a good look at my pump :D

She ended up being a pretty good bit for motivation. No way in hell did I want to not meet my goal in front of her...but on deads I just couldn't hack it lol.

Hmm I guess the only thing I can suggest is get some chalk. It helps my grip. My grip is strong but no way in hell am I maxing without chalk.

Good point :) I put this in the workout log so I wouldnt have to type much lmao. Yeah The trifecta is nuts...I am going to attempt 80lbs for the flat db press tonight...and if I make it thats another testament lol. Seems like for the most part I hit my goal every week and move up, and I am moving up by 10lbs in most stuff. I am very impressed with my numbers, and the body is getting a little better too :D I still feel small, but my roommate weighs about what I did when I got here and I dwarf him, good to have a frame of reference :)

Other than that I am on the hghpro which I love, no comments needed. Taking glutamine also. Oh yeah and animal flex, which I think is a new staple...joints are doing better than ever on that stuff, and its not terribly expensive..think it was 22 bucks or so for one. I am going to take a break from stims for a bit after vasocharge is gone.

Workout last night =

10x100M Sprints
3x200M Sprints
2x400M Sprints
1x800M Sprint

I did random pushups and situps for my breaks. Holy hell am I in pain today lol. I brought a crew with me to do the workout...good thing too because I would have slacked if I was by myself, brought the two girls and 1 other guy and had to show off, I beat him in everything but the 400s :D Damn near puked my guts out too...10x100M was a full day workout when I ran track back in HS...this was a sprint workout on crack lol
