i loop the chain under the top dumbell head, and then twist it 180 degrees, and then secure it between my legs, and pound out reps. So far my best is with a 135 ;).

don't want plates... I have seen the 45's just "clapping" against each other a couple inches away from my friend's sack, it scared the **** out of him and the thought of using plates has never entered my mind again.

the plates can spin; the dumbell is wide enough to easily secure between your legs.
 
I do dips + 45 with a plate, and might use a 100 plate also, but no way in hell am i putting 2 45s together. I am doing 2 25s now, dont think I want to go to 2 35s...chains arent long enough.

congrats on 135 though, that's pretty beastly. i'll give the dumbbell a shot next monday when i do chest/tri's again

Heres a little side not about GHenerate and I-GH-1:
It works, it does what it says it does, my shoulders are better than they have ever been, no focking joke!!! I can now lift as heavy as I want withtout pain and discomfort in my shoulder!! Sleep is oh so amazing and my midsection has stayed surprisingly lean!!
 
Tell me about it man...I've been on ZMK also the past month...EPIC dreams...and I remember them all.

Throwing Choline Citrate in the mix soon.
