I don't recall any of those basing pricing on supply vs demand. If anything they've adjusted their prices upwards and downwards based on changes in costs. Thats the way 99% of supplement companies price product, they determine their necessary minimal profit margin on a product, calculate the cost of the product, containers, etc and then round up to the next dollar as far as calculating a launch price. Then as you reach higher volume price can go down, or if cost of ingredients goes up then price goes up, but i cant even imagine Genomyx raising the price on alphaburn because people want it. Or erase/alpha T2, if anything their price has gone down since launch, even with spotty availability at times.
When I bought Alpha-T2 and Erase, they were $20. I've seen them in stacks regularly around $20. That's about the lowest it will go with the exception of sales where it dips to ~$18. Based on some very basic education, you could guess $20 is at the least cost recovery and acceptable margin. Granted that margin isn't enough to cover slippage, loss, theft, promos, and risk; and you'll have to add that in from time to time. The price today is higher because people want it, they know the demand for it, and there are not a credible supply of replacements in peoples' minds. Therefore the market can bear that higher price. It's not gouging or unscrupulous, it's business, and I'm happy to spend my money on it.
Same thing with RPN/Genomyx. If you don't have the business part down, even if you have great products (as these companies do) you won't last. I've bought Alpha-Burn and Eviscerate at much lower market prices, not just sales, and did so happily. I cannot get those prices any more. Does that mean I start a thread, even if they offered it for 3x the price? No, I may PM them to say WTF, or I may shop elsewhere, but I don't need to be all girly drama either.
I have lots of respect for DSade and Natty, so don't take any of this as a call out of RPN/Genomyx or PES, they are both awesome and I'll continue to buy their high quality products.
Again, all I'm saying is there's no need for this kind of "bodybuilding drama." What's next, calling out NutraPlanet for not having as good of sales as last year, or as many?
