Push day--Chest, tri's, and shoulders.

Well, I checked my theory again about adding new workouts in near the end of cycle and woopidy doo!!! More strength gains!!!

I tried out dumbbell flys for the first time my LAST chest workout after reading how good they are in Unreals log.

I was repping 45's x8 last workout (first time doing them so screw you lol), today I was hitting up 55's x7. That's the only improvement I saw in my entire workout. And that's a pretty big improvement. 10 pounds is alot when dealing with dumbbells.

I'm telling you guys, save some workouts near the end of the cycle to keep making strength gains. I wish I would have known earlier.

BTW... fly's rule. My chest felt so pumped after; more pumped than any chest workout I ever do.

I didn't see any improvement on bench, incline, or any of my regular workouts today. My regular workouts have gone flaccid haha.

I love flies simply because you start out wide, and contract that chest muscle to the top of the rep and you can feel it in your WHOLE PEC, and then you bring it back out wide. It hits the outer pec really hard, for me flies have done a great deal for my chest width. I have really broad shoulders, and one of the things I worked on the last couple of years is getting my chest wider to look proportional. I get pumps on em too bro. Dont feel bad, 55lbs is serious, especially if youve never done them before. I only get up to 70s on those bad boys, and I can flat bench 315. Whole different beast, altogether.

I'm glad that you're having fun, and success with your cycle. Kinda is gonna leave you with an itch to get on the next one huh? Im really curious to know what blood levels would be like with/without the use of hcg. Are you getting blood taken? I suggest you take advantage of it, it was 51 bucks for some real peace of mind. I'm still waiting for my results, but I plan on posting em today.

My current routine is a split between Power Lifting and Hypertrophy. 2 Days of power lifting, 3 days of hypertrophy, with a day in between both switches. Geek actually gave me this routine. It has proved exceptionally well since i have started it. Advancements made in power lifting has transfered to hypertrophy isolation exercises, and vise versa. I am curious as to how this routine's effect would be compounded by a cycle.

But in general, I am a big fan of muscle confusion, which is why cycle or not, I think people need to switch up their lifts more often. (Some people go years on the same routine). I can definitely see though how a change in lifts, or at the least the addition of a few not previously included, would make the last week(s) of a cycle more effective.

...and yes, I need to start doing flys again.

will love seeing how much you retain over the next 2 months! Hopefully all and then some. I see the best change in the depth and width of the shoulders. The cannon balls are creating a great base for the chest as well as the back. Great job my friend!!

Mmm.. My guess is as good as yours GSM. I didn't keep track to be honest but I know I put on 1-2 MAYBE 3%.. it looks good tho. I plan on keeping it on for a couple months then slowly lose it.
