Who takes a multi everyday & which one?

GN.C Ultra Mega 50+ Women's Vitapak. My bones are made of steel.

Srsly, I switch between orange triad, NOW Adam, and Life Force Multiple.

I think if you're eating (cleanly) to gain, you probably don't need a multi. Maybe just some extra D3 if you never get any sun.

Shameless plug, BioMend and Complete Balance

Synergy Mens Multi == checkout the profile. Its not cheap but you get what you pay for...look at all the support supps in it.

Definitely CL Orange Triad. Ive used Optimens, Mega Mens, and Animal Pak. I love orange triad and I supplement that with a B complex, vitamin d, k2, and calcium. OT all the way. Opti and Mega are junk.

Sure it would've flopped by then though if it was total trash.

You don't have to believe me. It's your body, do as you wish.

there is always the old chestnut of a story about how centrum looks exactly the same, erm "going in as it does going out."

Heh, the issues extend beyond that as well. Bioavailability is significantly reduced for ALL ingredients if the kinetics falter, even if total dissolution is ultimately achieved.

I remember taking animal pak.... Made me feel like crap.
But I doubt that makes anything conclusive, well aside from me not buying it ever again

Someone else mentioned that before.

Seeing how Mr. Cooper is my SENSEI, I'm about to switch into Orange Triad starting in June based on his advice via PMs. I used to take the Pak waaaay back in the day. In fact I still think I have some left over, but I switched from that to independently dosing my vitamins instead. Worked out well actually as I'm about to run out of them. :)
Great to hear...mr. cooper is very knowledgable and an asset to the board

the other thing I must bring up:

The cheap drug store multi's REALLY upset my stomach. I believe it's the coating... Everytime I took one with a meal, the meal would be expelled 15 minutes after.

The vitamins that are sold by supplement companies usually don't do this. I know OT has never made me nauseas. I also took a vitamin by NOW (forget the name...but it wasn't ADAM) didn't make me nauseas. Can't speak for other ones, but you get what you pay for. I don't buy the whole "cheap one-a-days" is all you need. I know many people who have had nausea from drugstore vitamins.

Do a you tube search for vitalizer. Hands down far better than any multiple package I have ever taken.

So, I came into the game on a multi and protein & a pre work out.

Always stuck to Animal Pak and used multiple cans of it. Switched off a few times and tried some generic store vitamins, Magnum vitamins, Alive, and a sample bottle of Anavite. Well 6-8 months ago I got tired of taking pills and all and eliminated vitamins. I was looking for a new vitamin to take again and I went right back to Animal Pak. I only use one pak a day, so for $30 and 44 paks it's a good value. The main reason I turne back to vitamins is because I've been feeling a big sluggish lately and diet hasn't been up to par and I just want to make sure I'm feeling in any nutritional gaps.

So for the people that are using multis what are you taking?

orange triad

I started taking Toco-8 a few weeks ago- so no more multi vitamins for me (because I read somewhere that the Vitamin E in most multi-vitamins blocks the absorption of the Tocotrienol vitamin E in toco-8).

So I use Superfood. And occasionally I'll take a Garden of Life multi that I have which contains mixed Tocotrienols and Tocopherols.

i would cycle between orange triad and toco 8

Then I'd consider it, though you should recognize that a multivitamin can actually be detrimental to your health if it uses improper doses of poor vitamin/mineral forms

Are you referring to the pac mr coop.... Please expand

I take SAN's Dr. Feel Good.

I'm not eager to take any multi at this point, but there are great, well-dosed extras in this product that I find to be worth taking. The multivitamin/mineral is formulated well enough that if someone can benefit from one, they will this one.

I always research the quality of the products that I take long term.

I research the products short term too. Ever read a story of a kid takig hdrol cuz his friend said it would make him bigger? How do those usually end?

Cooper gave his advice. I respect him a lot. End of the day I posted my reasons for the vitamins I purchased. I'll try something else later. All it is, is a multi vitamin man.... Just wanted a little bit of feedback. No hard feelings with me and Coop @ all I actually know him from another board.

Thanks for caring and sharing Spikey. :)

I take vitacost synergy. U need to look for hiqh quality vitamins that contain the right forms of vitamins. For example try to find methyl cobalamin our hydroxy cobalamin instead of cyanocobalamin. some vitamin will contain multiple tocopherol and trinol complexes. When looking don't look for the longest label, instead look, for vitamins that your body will actually use.

Thx. I'll def keep that in mind on my next purchase.

Only thing animal pak did for me was turn my first piss after dosing them a brilliant shade of mountain dew.

Depends on your diet but unless your eating organic foods I'd imagine ur teetering on some inefficiencies. The soils in America are.completely void of nutrients I think a mvi is a great way to ensure ur body is thriving. I'm not sure we can go by how we feel. Have u had any blood tests done?

I know this may not live up to everyone else's standards but I take a Flintstones multi three times per day with meals, fish oil, ala, saw palmetto, and milk thistle. No complaints.

Solgar brand has always been great in regards to absorbency but cost is prohibitive.

I take Orange Triad but only half dose daily. I get close to enough from my foods and just like to have a bit extra in there. I also take fish oil at 3000-4000 EPA/DHA daily.

I know a few guys who really love Dr. FeelGood. The additives in it look simply fantastic.

Oh i agree with you 100%. I have a pretty decent diet of whole protein sources, fruits and veggies, every day. And no i don't buy organic all the time. And yes i agree that your basic fruits and veggies probably have a lot of the nutrients sapped out of them. I haven't noticed any issues at the gym or with cardio, i keep getting stronger and more endurance as i increase my training. So seems like something's working.

I'm a firm believer that our bodies tell us when something is wrong, if you're keen enough to listen. Most of us that take bodybuilding seriously (competitors) end up having a great connection with our bodies. I try to listen as much as possible.

Well-formulated, on par with the other favorites in this thread. LCLT and BA are great extras

That's why I wanted to get some was for the LCLT and BA. It's good to know I'm not the only one.
