looking forward to the report. gotta spend time with the wife, thats priority.
Yup! Gotta keep her happy.
I go to school all day and she's been working evenings, so anytime we have together, we try to make the most of.
Supplement thoughts:
SV2: Not a whole lot new to report on this front. I'm feeling leaner, but also a bit like I'm holding water. my "After" Pics will be coming this weekend when I get to start reincorporating carbs in my diet. Arm, chest and shoulder vascularity has increased a lot. Typically, these are the areas where I lose fat the fastest - my gut stays stubborn to the end. Still, I will attempt to get a shot of some of my "veinage, bro."
AS: Still not wild about the taste, but I can't argue with the performance. I felt great in the gym yesterday. Lots of energy, lots of tenacity and some darn good anaerobic stamina too. Even after the workout was done I felt alert and my mind active.
T-911: Strength continues to rise here and there - leg press and incline press both showed some marked improvement. Mood enhancement is in full swing; in addition to feeling alert post-workout (presumably from AS), I was also a little euphoric. I recall this feeling from several workouts last time I ran T-911, and it always seemed to follow sessions where I kept rest periods rather short.
Combat: Just about empty. I'll post up a final review in it's own thread here in a couple of days. Pretty versatile stuff.
Yesterday's Workout:
Smith Squats: 135 x25, x25, x20, x20
ss'd w/ Inc DB Press: 75s for 4x12
Leg Press: 450 for 3x10 + Calf raises for 3x12
ss'd w/ Inc DB Press: 75s x12, x10, x10
Unilateral Decline Cable Press: 110 per arm for 7x12
ss'd w/ BW Lunges for 4x15
Triple-Dropset Flat DB Flies: 3 sets
50x6 + 40x6 +30x6
Unilateral Leg Ext: 75 for 4x20
ss'd w/seated Uni leg curl: 75 for 4x20
Whew! Been a while since my pecs have felt THAT worked - that fly dropset is really something. I rotated the dbs as I raised them, going from a supinated grip at the bottom to pronated at the top, with a good squeeze when they hit each other. I loved it!
I just didn't feel like doing leg presses for sets of 20, so I decided to mix it up a bit and threw some extra weight on there. The first set was hard, but the second two were surprisingly easy. I think it's a good indicator that my legs have retained most of their strength. They've actually gained some size over this month too - my gym shorts are beginning to get tighter around the thighs like they used to be. However, my hams used to be the dominant factor in my leg size - now, my hams have shrunk somewhat, but my quads have compensated in turn. It's all the volume I've been giving my quads recently.
Today, I have an appointment with a specialist, who will determine whether I need surgery or not. If I do, it'll probably happen in the next week or two, so any prayers are appreciated. I don't want surgery, but I want to get this fixed, so I'm willing if that is what is necessary.
