Never Listen to Milas about RecoverPro

Wrong thread?

lol I mean I've never heard about it. Natty mentioned it somewhere, but I've never seen it mentioned. I used the fruit punch MBCAA that I won a while back, but I didn't see any mention of electrolytes on the label.

Did you read the label?

lol wow

I have the empty tub stashed away and just went and looked at it and sure enough, it's there. No idea how I overlooked that, before. I assume it's because I was looking for the electrolytes listed out, but it does say "electrolyte blend" on the nutritional panel, too.

I guess I just wasn't being very observant.

I definitely should not have known that.

The only Jerry's I know are Springer and that from Tom and Jerry.

Ugh wife is having a baby shower here for her friend today.....golfing it is!

Flex, in his uniquely sociopathic opportunism is playing you. Jerry Sandusky was a Penn State Assistant Football coach who set up a charity for at risk youth so he could get access to little boys and sodomize them in the showers, etc.

PS: You're sentence structure is so damn proper it is highly suggestive of ocd tendencies with a penchant for being pendatic. (Thanks D2)

Agreed. If the goal is looking like a bodybuilder, I'd steer clear from crossfit; it works, but it's a bitch haha. For performance and overall fitness, crossfit is great.

I've enjoyed crossfit like routines. Especially helpful on melting off some fat.

So...a ghost knocked on my door last night...it was weird

So I need to buy some BCAAs, thinking about USP's Modern BCAA . . . . heard they will make me ALPHA, er, ALPHA-er . . . ALPHA-est

I am not very intelligent on psychology and behavioural habits (outside of the exercise world).

Is OCD similar to perfectionism in terms of character traits? I tend to get obsessive about things and have always been a perfectionist but I have never been diagnosed with OCD. I was always one of those kids who would do a piece of art work for a couple of hours and throw it away if I didn't like it.

I also wrote a fitness ebook and didn't publish it because I wasn't 100% happy.

I want to read the book Ben. Even if you don't love me anymore.

OCD isn't perfectionism either. I do suffer from OCD, I wouldn't call me a perfectionist either. ;-)

Dear Bruce:

You won a contest by Nathan. Report to it and clarify who gets the AI reward.

Thanks

I realize that, and I've been surfing the forum to find a deserving person. Someone who's gave solid info and seems to be a standup guy. I'll report who I pick when I decide!

He's already been working on it for about 20 minutes or more.

EDIT: He beat me to it. I'll pick somebody from the thread, too. :D

It can be manifested by perfectionism, such as an inane insistence upon getting all the minutia correctly. It is most often characterized as either "cleaners" or "checkers". Checkers get an idea stuck in their head such as "Did lock the door? I know I did. But what if I am wrong? Then someone could break in and murder my wife and kids...................." All this cognition creates ever intensifying anxiety that drives the victim to finally give in and check the door (Compulsion), only for the obsessive thought of "Did I lock the door?" return. (the obsession). Cleaners are people who suffer from the same cycle but it is more related to cleaning and or germ phobia. Many, but not all OCD peope can be Perfectionist. Some insist on "A place for everything and everything in it's place" and any kind of deviation from that standard becomes intensely uncomfortable to them. Then there are the really wacked out one's who develop ritualistic behaviors, say counting by two's for fear that if the stop, something terrible is bound to happen. I once read of a man who insisted that if he failed to use 2 matches at a time, a plane would fall from the sky and hundreds die in a fiery ball of flame.
