Note from first day...

Switched up to working out splits instead of full body, and the burning of a specific body part is great. I haven't worked Bi's this hard in a long time. Moving reps from 6-8 to 8-10, although im not really changing to weight so the extra reps are just getting squeezed out.

Today 10:30pm i took 150mg, pre workout - 1:30am i took 150mg
So it suffices to say i had a good bit of Katana pumping through my veins for my first workout. My first dose normally will be scheduled for earlier in my "morning" but i slept in today for the first time in months because we're not busy here at work. With my dinner i will take another 100mg for a total of 400mg/ed.

I don't know if it's in my head, or i shocked my body with this compound, or a possible raise in BP, but while i was doing light sets of Deadlifts i got entire upper body pumps. I could feel the pumps running from my chest all the way down into my forearms. It honestly felt great, and better pumps than i have ever gotten from any exercise on any compound.

I thought it might be in my head, but i was talkin to Bnugz, who goes to the same gym as i do, and he said even on a low dose of 150mg daily he gets pumps. So i am suspect to believe katana is working its magic HOURS into my cycle! bwahahaha

I have to find my new happy medium of days to workout per week. Knowing i am on katana i'm motivated to work out 7 days a week.

My buddy ordered some N.O. Ignite by Finaflex. So far it taste better than any other Preworkout i've tried. Will comment on how i like it after i return from shoulder/trap day

Not sure if it's the katana or just my buddy lagging behind, but i blew my WO partner away in both shoulder press exercises. Feels great to workout, not much pumps today.

Probably going to be lifting about 5 days a week now. I need to keep reminding myself to eat eat eat, though i've been busy at work lately which gets in the way of my eatting.

Probably will take my last 100mg in a couple hours. Last night i didn't sleep well, not until 6 hours after i took my last dose, but i don't know if it was the katana to blame. Will give it another shot today.

Oh yeah, Finaflex N.O. Ignite. I would say it's comparable to jack3d. Price/Servings it's a better deal. I will probably pick up a tub when i need more PWO.

One thing has been affecting my sleep, i think i have poorer circulation now. I wake up at night time and one of my arms will be asleep. I don't know if i am just dehydrated or what....
 
I use a memory foam pillow and putting your arm under the pillow while sleeping totally kills circulation.

Most people who sleep on their side subconciously put their arm under their head to aleviate pressure at the base of the neck caused by the pillow not having enough support. your body will want to automatically align itself and without meaning to, you will slip your arm under your pillow to raise your head just a bit more. Meanwhile, you are blocking circulation to arteries in your shoulder, which has little bloodflow in it already, and that's just gonna cause all sorts of numbness, tingling, and aches and pains. Also if you sleep on your side and you have a firm bed it will give you the same problem in your shoulder and around your hips. Those parts of your body sink into the support system more, so they need more give or else you will wake up tossing and turning, or wake up numb and sore. Trust me bro, ive been in bedding for 4 years, and have learned from the best, we are a family mattress retailer and we hear that all the time. in fact i sleep with my arm under my pillow and its a hard habit to break.

No matter what type of pillow you use, you should try to wrap your arm around the outside of the pillow to avoid putting your head on your arm. It takes some getting used to, and if you keep wanting to raise your pillow during yoru sleep, get a different pillow. the wrong or right pillow can make or break your support system, no matter how terrible or awesome your bed is. your neck needs just as much support as your lower back and sleeping improperly gives you all sorts of little nagging problems.

On those days where I have nothing to do but want to go to the gym I just go and blast some random ass sh*t. Like stomach and calves LMAO. Some days I can't stay out even if my body is a wreck. I just go and workout whatever is fresh regardless of what it is.
 
I guess i'll talk to my buddy, see if he wants to go today. Plans changed and work is slow tonight. It will be leg day for me, and i've got plenty of gas in the tank.

Wisc and Michigan state game is keeping me entertained though lol.


Unrelated, i've decided im going to look into buying a Tavel Trailer when i get back to the United States and live at a hook up site. I can buy myself a trailor for something like $6,000, and dropping that much money is no more than a years rent at a cheap apartment complex.

Question on my workout... ewww cashews got my keyboard all greesy :lol:

On my weight progression on my workout, is 10 reps good? I guess i start with warm up weight and work my weight up to the heavist set i can rep out 10 reps at. If i have it in me, i'll do another set at my highest weight attempting 10 reps as well.

Should i keep it at 10 and see how it goes? 6-8-10-12 reps? Maybe a couple weeks at 10, drop it down to 6, and after a couple weeks shoot up to 12?

It all depends on what your goals are. Strength, Endurance/conditioning, or Size?
I feel that rep cycling is great for all purposes...

Do you guys more or less agree with this?

Most hormone production is either done or primed during sleep if you take an exogeneous hormone too close to sleep then it will most definately signal the body that it doesn't need to produce any of its own and you'll miss out on any endogeneous production 24 hours at a time speeding up shudown.

That's just the cliff notes its a lot more complex then that but gives you an idea.
 
Sorry i've been quiet but im back in action now.

About to go to the gym. I got my Pump Fixx in this morning and im giving it 2 scoops to see what it can do for me. Atop 200mg of katana can't go wrong... i don't think. It came a little clumpy looking but not bad. I closed it up and shook it really hard for a bit.

I just read "Due to the carbonating properties of FLARE TECHNOLOGY- Stir contents rather than shaking in closed, sealed container."

Obviously im going to shake it anyways, but atleast it reconizes the fact it needs to be shaked.
