Training experience (as much detail as possible.. TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF ! ! WHY should we choose you ! !):
I started weight training for fun starting at 14, and did competitive rugby and soccer during high school. I always was a runner, but in university I just haven't had the time to go for 1-2 hour runs, so instead I decided to focus on hitting the weightroom in my 1 hour breaks in between gym classes. Being a Life Sciences major with a passion for nutrition, bodybuilding is the perfect place for me to put all the things I love together.
Discovering NutraPlanet was like jumping headfirst into something much bigger than I had realized. I bought tubs of bulk powders, and started mixing my own home-brews of Pre-WO powders, and started to gain a mountain of protein powders. With much reading and research, I started experimenting with training programs, meal timing etc. Bodybuilding for me is a process of constant development, and even more learning. One product that really interested me was X-Factor, which I have another 11 days left of in my log (link below).
I think the link between supplements and bodybuilding progress is important, but often overstressed. Too many people overlook the importance of diet and feel that a certain supplement will make them big. In the past few months I've focused more on eating solid meals and haven't noticed an impact in my recovery. With that being said, I've also tinkered around custom BCAA mixes. I use Green Mag for my creatine, and I've tinkered with Leucine, BCAA's, Glutamine, Citrullina Malate and Beta-Alanine. While I've noticed more energy/focus during the gym and fast recovery, I find the biggest impact on my performance is simply the amount of carbs I take in before/after my workouts. I always aim for about 80-90g of Complex Carbs from Oats + berries 60-90 mins pre-WO and I've tried introducing carbs into my peri-workout mixture with limited success. I find I don't workout well with much in my stomach, but then paradoxically I'll find myself hungry by the end of my workout despite a massive breakfast. This is the reason why I decided to throw in my application for Golden Finish; I plan to use it just before/during my WO because it promises easy & fast carbs to help keep me energized during my workout, in addition to the AA's that I like to help with my recovery.

Current Diet and macros (as much detail as possible):
I am currently studying for my MCAT's, so my daily caloric expenditure is pretty low. I'm finding it is about ~2200 and I'm eating around 2600 to lean bulk. My carbs are packed around my morning workout (Oats before, pasta/WW something afterwards) . I sometime skip the PWO shake and just go straight into high GI carb/pro meal, but it's variable.
40% Carbs 30% Protein 30% Fats
Typical meal plan looks like
Pre-WO Meal 1: 7h00 100g Steelcut Oats, Scoop Whey, Berries
8h15-9h15: Workout with Green Mag/BCAA/BA + others

Meal 6 19h302 Egg 0.5cup Eggwhite Omelette + Lowfat Cheese,Tsp Fish Oil,
Meal 7 : Casein Shake + 1-2 Tbsp coconut Oil
Current Daily water intake:
4-5 L easy. I drink a ton of tea.
Current and long-term Goals:
Lean Bulk while staying under 10% bf which I feel is a realistic goal if I track what I eat and train hard.
ANY and ALL Prescription / Non-Prescription / Recreational drugs:
None
Supplement history (as much detail as possible):
I alluded to most of this in my writing. I've started with just Protein, then tried creatine, then pre-WO stuff like Beta-Alanine and Creatine. I also did some pre-WO supps (White Flood, Ragnarok), Yellow Gold + Anabolic Pump. Have used DTH, oh man so much stuff lol.
