Is it really gonna be available Monday?. I thought I read that somewhere in this thread. Well Henry did say next week, but I guess that could be any day next week. Monday is wishful thinking on my part.
Ive been looking, but nothing as of yet.Anyone find this in an online store yet?
Looks good!Just noticed this photo on the facebook profile of one of our retailers:

wow $40?i see it, just wanting to see the reviews before i drop 40 bones.
Well you need two bottles, 21 a bottle.wow $40?
Ufffffff I know it but I misread is $40 per bottleWell you need two bottles, 21 a bottle.
It's sold out. You'll have to wait for one of the other retailers to list it. It wont be long.I can get to the site and look under E-pharm but dont see it. It just list the other 4 products
How many bottles did they get? 5? Why do they not show it OOS instead of making it invisible? That's so not cool. It's sold out. You'll have to wait for one of the other retailers to list it. It wont be long.
Yea. I'm waiting for the logs on this one45$ for 30 days is pretty steep![]()
25% extract. Not sure of the source. What's the percentage of extracted Ursolic acid??
Wow. So like 200mg per cap. Then the dosing is at 6 caps a day?25% extract. Not sure of the source.
50mg active per cap.
Highly extracted holy basil???25% extract. Not sure of the source.
50mg active per cap.
Hehe saw that on amazon as well. Holy basil and apples have something in common it seems.Highly extracted holy basil???
I'd say by the looks of it a cut diet. As far as keto, low carb, high protein, I have no idea as of now.Is this product better with any certain type of diet or does it work good with everything?
Suggested use is 9-18 caps daily, split up 3x and taken with food/lipid.Wow. So like 200mg per cap. Then the dosing is at 6 caps a day?
When I say active here, I am referring to ursolic acid. There are other pentacyclic triterpene acids in there that may very well have similar activity.25% extract. Not sure of the source.
50mg active per cap.
That is a pretty high doseSuggested use is 9-18 caps daily, split up 3x and taken with food/lipid.
PA said he was drunk most of the summer and still leaned out so it may not matter what you eat.Is this product better with any certain type of diet or does it work good with everything?
They sold 100 in about two hours. How many bottles did they get? 5? Why do they not show it OOS instead of making it invisible? That's so not cool.
It's not goddamn holy basil.Highly extracted holy basil???
Yep. Oleanolic acid for one. When I say active here, I am referring to ursolic acid. There are other pentacyclic triterpene acids in there that may very well have similar activity.
I dunno. It may reduce the digestion of carbs if it does function as a competitive alpha-glucosidase inhibitor. Is this product better with any certain type of diet or does it work good with everything?
wohaa so UA is like metformin :firedevil:

Those look like some of the same MOA that ursolic acid is believed to work by, yes. See this thread:In addition to suppressing hepatic glucose production, metformin increases insulin sensitivity, enhances peripheral glucose uptake (by phosphorylating GLUT-4 enhancer factor), increases fatty acid oxidation,[SUP][89][/SUP] and decreases absorption of glucose from the gastrointestinal tract. Increased peripheral utilization of glucose may be due to improved insulin binding to insulin receptors.[SUP][90][/SUP]
Hmmm this sounds too interesting and I understand your point “of drug claims”.Those look like some of the same MOA that ursolic acid is believed to work by, yes. See this thread:

We're not making any drug claims of our product, just informing you of the research that has been done on the ingredient.

$45.40 plus $5.49 shipping. So $50.89 total for one month at the minimum recommended dosage I'm guessing. Yeah that is pretty steep. I hope Nutraplanet has a better price....45$ for 30 days is pretty steep![]()
Wow!, well that settles it than. I'm gettin me some Ursobolic!.PA said he was drunk most of the summer and still leaned out so it may not matter what you eat.
TTA may increase the effects, because it is a non-specific PPAR agonist, but I don't know if a) ursolic acid is only a PPAR-alpha agonist, or b) activation of PPAR-gamma contributes to the effects of TTA (this study seems to indicate that it doesn't, if I'm reading it right). Edit: though if TTA increases beta-oxidation of fatty acids [link] it may help....I got some stacking options on my head :firedevil:
TTA (Tetradecylthioacetic Acid))
HCA (60% Hydroxycitric Acid)
CLA (clarinol brand)
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21593349The effect of CLA consumption on fatty acid oxidation was also assessed. Compared with the control treatment, the CLA treatments did not affect changes in body weight, body composition, or blood lipids. In addition, CLA did not affect the β-oxidation rate of fatty acids or induce significant alterations in the safety markers tested. In conclusion, although no detrimental effects were caused by supplementation, these results do not confirm a role for CLA in either body weight or blood lipid regulation in humans.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17031391CONCLUSIONS:
CLA does not affect glucose metabolism or insulin sensitivity in a population of overweight or obese volunteers.

If HCA is an inhibitor of ATP-citrate lyase [link], and ursolic acid is an inhibitor of fatty acid synthase [link], then I would think the effects would be additive (in reducing the synthesis of fatty acids). Idk if that's a good thing or not.
As for Clarinol:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21593349
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17031391
There are a lot of different isomers in CLA and some have the opposite effects of others.
Bear in mind this is outside my field of knowledge, I'm just going off ten minutes of googling.
