Promos are so bad ass, but sometimes we hate the stipulations some companies put on them, seriously. Why should this one be any different? Well, bottom line you guys have helped kick us off with a huge bang! and this is our way to have some fun and be very creative... This is a 2 part promo, with both parts having prizes!!!

We want you to choose the Type of promo we run!!! Thats right, you choose our promo;) use your thoughts, creativeness, talents and so forth. I will choose top 5 ideas on July 1st and have the public vote on the best. Then I'll run the promo that was chosen! What will the winner get?

VERY nice, letting the customers come up with the idea, telling us what THEY want to see done as a promotion. nice!!!!

1.) create a video of taurus nutrition. like a promotional video. check my signature and copy that link and post in youtube. something like that or can be a funny video

2.) video of the most reps of 135 bench

3.) explain what effects one product of the line or all have an effect on you and why you like it

4.) explain why rosie is such a freakin G

5.) create a lemonade stand on the street (on video) with wyked as the lemonade LOL

6.) explain what products you would like to see from Taurus Nutrition next and why

7.) explain your best bodybuilding recipe and take a pic of it

8.) a T shirt design for the company (can explain or take a pic, or use an example or another company)

9.) explain the best way to bulk up and best way to cut

10.) explain why or why not pro hormones/steroids are/are not worth it

11.) what is the most exciting supplement or ingredient on the market that taurus should create or incorporate into a new supplement

well since lemonade is a good flavor for wyked why not do a lemon carving or lemon sculpture contest. Whoever has the most WYKED carving or sculpture or whoever put in the most effort gets a product of choice! I have carved an orange before so I know a lemon can be carved.

find an epic picture that demonstrates pure testosterone, and taurus bull like strength, and post it. then under that picture post a picture of you recreating your first favorite picture.

The bull has been a symbol in civilizations since before written word until present day and can be found in anything from ancient myth to pop culture. Using the bull as a symbol for Taurus Nutrition, pick a "bull" (doesn't have to be the actual animal...be creative!) and describe how that bull represents Taurus Nutrition and their products.
 
How about a promo in which only Taurus' are eligible to enter? :cool:

Post the best bull pic, make it creative though-not just a pic. How about the best photo-shopped Bull pic or something along them lines? Maybe a PS pic with a Taurus product in it?

I think that would be more along the line of a steer and not a bull! Lol! I don't care what kind of supplement you give me, I don't want to wrestle any 1900 lb animal that can stand flat & jump 6' up no problem! I'm out if that's the promo!

I guess I could put some cardboard horns on my pit bull and wrestle her! Lol!

Food Porn!

I think you guys should make it a food porn contest. People can post videos of various food porn clips.
Or even better, perhaps you should make them create their own food porn clips. This way, people aren't just stealing segments from shows like Man v. Food... Anyone who watches this show knows how badly they wish they could dive into the food Adam Richman eats. So I think the users here on AM should try to invoke the same feelings w their very own homemade "amateur" food porn lol

Ok, my ideas:

1) Do a video of trying to break your own PR in any movement, you don't even have to get it done, just give it your best. Call it "Taurus Nutrition Presnts the "Take the Bull by the Horns' video series."

2) Another video idea: Film yourself or a friend performing any movement using perfect form and narrating the key points. Call it "Technically Taurus"

That is all I got for now.

How about putting together a slideshow of your favorite bodybuilders of all time, and some good music to go along with it?

Or have a slogan contest, where everyone creates their own slogan for Taurus or one of the products?
 
For our current promo I want you to come up with a surefire hit name for this summers [size=+1]Blockbuster Movie![/size]

The promo will run for "X" weeks and you can make up 2 names per day for the duration of the promo. Here's the catch... each day is a different genre of movie --

Monday: Police Drama
Tuesday: War
Wednesday: Comedy
Thursday: Action (Disaster)
Friday: Love (Romance)
Saturday: Horror
Sunday: Science Fiction

Now I want everybody to get in touch with their inner Cecil B. Demille and let's get this party started!

The winner will be picked using a RNG (random number generator for the uninititated).

I LOVE this idea!

We could use some more banners and with our upcoming PH lineup release we could sure use some names an a overall theme to it. Also there are talks of some pretty sick stacks too ;)

I know there are a bunch of very talented designers and creative people on this board. I think this would be a very good idea to help the company grow and give a chance to have the AM community help mold what it grows into.

If you look at half of the log titles in the forums here, people have been practically making slogans for products all along. Definitely a lot of creative minds out there...

what would be cool for a promo is you make sort of like a geek squad thing and every week or month they ambush a random entry type winner right before a workout and they pump him on wyked and have the put this winner through an awesome workout and show off his pump at the end. but really the trick i think is it make it real authentic! imagine how sick that would be, youre just about to hit the gym and you have this van picking you up with a tub of wyked and putting your body to the test. could even have a tag line like "wyked ambushes... you just never know when you might get AMBUSHED"

How about an educational piece, something like most obscure fact/benefit of the ingredients in one or any of the products. Helps people research what they're taking, and helps give y'all info for promoting all the benefits. Must have sources for benefits to make it even more useful. However, I'm a nerd, so don't know how "fun" this would be for most but I am always reading up on stuff... :nerd:

Being a bit of an "informational curator" and gatherer of info both critical and mundane, I personally lika this idea.

You could call this promo "Expand Your Mind, Expand Your Muscles Promo" or "Taurus Nutrition - No BS Products Promo"...
