I miss most of the "Warner Bros. Cartoons" in general. A lot of great and entertaining cartoons that made it worth waking up early on the Saturdays. Now everything is plagued with crappy anime with ****ty dubbed dialog. No music, muted pastel colors, etc. It's like we stopped drawing cartoons and now just import them like everything else. :(

I used to watch this show religiously. My fave was Van Go Lion. I may just be biased to our generation, but I actually feel bad for the kids today because I don't feel that there's much of the innocent, fun-loving entertainment that we 80's kids had. Aside from Sesame Street, almost everything is electronic or computer-related now. This show really got my imagination going as a wee young lad, which in turn fed into my creativeness. I credited it with giving me my uzmo machismo. :D

I remember that one. And now that you've brought the memory back and that theme song is stuck in my head, I'm going to have to go through about 4 hours of Pantera as therapy. If that doesn't work, someone is going to get shot today.
:why:

All these awesome cartoons and this one hasn't been mentioned:

Probably because it doesn't quality as an "awesome" cartoon. :laugh2:

This always had me rolling...

My favorite of all-time that was cancelled:

I know, it's dangerous like that. Perhaps someone should do a death metal version. :head:

Thought everyone might get a kick out of this website:

Has some interesting shows up that have been mentioned already and others that haven't.

I have the boxed DVD set, you have to love the old twilight zones. I credit that show with expanding my imagination and creativity :)
I don't own any, but I always watch a good chunk of the marathons on SiFi around the holidays. My wife always looks for this one:

Thats perfect, as it allows me to go back to my first post. Futurama's spoof of this episode in their "The Scary Door" sequences was the best of them all.

Let's think about this. My Name is Earl had everything.

1. Jaime Pressley
2. Frankie Stechino making a comeback (yes that was a Boy Meets World reference)
3. A catchy phrase that hipsters latched onto - "Kharma"
EX: Invalid Link Removed
4. Now the main character works on a terrible/soon to be cancelled show called Memphis Beat.
5. It was still in its prime when cancelled...sort of like these PH products
6. I live here so.....:

The other suggestion that I have, I feel no one will bring up. This American hero needs to have his day. We must remember what he did for us.

I give you:

His genius touched lives by then millions during his time spent painting the happiest trees on PBS.

Ever want a savant for a teacher? Here you go:

He knew how to be stern though. He beat the devil out of those brushes.
Invalid Link Removed

He painted this in five minutes. Using only the color orange. I could have an entire year, stencils, a laser, three kittens, and jedi mind control and not come close.

I feel the following image correctly illustrates the awesome!

I rest my case.

Are you ****ing kidding me? That guy, was that guy?!

Just Googled and my head exploded.

World does not make sense anymore. :(

You, Sir, are correct!! Bob Ross may have been cheesy. His fro may have been way too much for the world to handle. And his happy trees may have been allowed only in New Hampshire these days. But what he did was to bring art to the average person sitting at home and let them know that you don't have to be an artist to be creative.

Bob Ross = missed.

One of the shows I miss the most: The Three Stooges. I remember when they started re-airing these when I was in junior high and my dad would watch them with me late at night before bed. I absolutely loved them. I only liked the episodes with Curly, tough. Joe was all right, but boy did I really dislike Shemp! :angryfire:

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We have our winners!

stxnas for The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and

1ArmMan for Boy Meets World

Now, as a last minute addendum, I will need stxnas to post a video of him doing the Boogaloo Shrimp dance. I will also need 1ArmMan to stay after class and discuss some of life's lessons with Mr. Feeney. :toofunny:

I'm kidding fellas. Send me a PM and we'll get that stack sent out to you!

Everyone else, thank you. It was nice to relive some of my earlier years through this thread. It's kinda crazy how big television is in our lives, whether we realize it or not. Some of the messages we learned as children have stayed with us...I still don't like radishes (yeah, Fragle Rock,) but I'm sure many of you can relate to what I'm saying.

Sweet!!!!

I've never won one of these before!!!

PM in the works

Congrats guys! This was a lot of fun, brought back great memories (and gave me an idea for a promotion for us :) )

Congrats, folks. Have fun with it! Thread was definitely amusing, and brought back a lot of good memories!! Sadly, it also made me realize how crappy TV is nowadays. Thank goodness for Discovery channel!!! :D

No more middle of the pack now Stx!!

Congrats guys and thanks PP...fun contest.:18:

Congrats guys! I was so close to going with Boy Meets World...oh well.

Next time, think WWCSD. What would Cory and Sean do? :18: There's still time to take advantage of the sale gentlemen.

Not sure if was mentioned earlier in the thread...but ya'll seen Topenga (sp?) recently (past year or so) after having gained a bunch of weight shortly after stopping Boy meets world, then slimming it back down? 'hubba-hubba' x's 1000 :privateeye: But not nearly as much as Soleil moon Fry... <THUMP!> <he passes out>

Alright gang, I'm gonna have to shut this one down, probably by the end of the week. Don't need any late nostalgia posters.

Remember, there is still time to save up to 40% on Primordial's remaining stock of PHs.

BONUS: As many are aware who have ordered from Primordial Performance, we have a points system on our website. You get points for every dollar you spend which can then be put towards your next order. Free TCF-1 anybody? I think so! :147:

Before I was a rep, I was able to get about 10% in savings based on my previous purchases. I was able to put that towards what became a FREE tub of Vita-Berry.

Ah the points system... Love this and definatly use this to my advantage. With all the stuff I bought recently, ill have a nice credit amount coming my way. Ill need it for my pct supps.

Yessir! So with this sale, if you stock up on the PHs, a Sustain and/or Liver Juice will practically pay for itself. And if you are able to get comped a TRS Stack... :box:

I see what you did there, and I approve!

points got me a free bottle of androhard :afro:

Anyone remember Tales from the Crypt?? Had a moral at the end of each episode--and horrible acting + corny puns = entertaining! Can't beat crappy gore haha. Show changed my life because it was essentiallly the whole "Children's book of virtues" for adults lol.
