quick advice. start at 225 next go around with squats and lower your weight on calf raises to increase reps...uve ever seen my calf workouts? I usually use 100-125 and try to rep above 70

Mine dont grow unless I do heavy, but I went so low at the bottom of my rep when I popped back up I got this really painful pump. I try to hit my calfs with something different every time tho.. But I will be doing 2 times a week, so 1 day ill go heavy as usual and the other day ill do higher rep. It just usually doesn't do anything for me lol

mine used to be 18.5in calfs are weird i did about 500 reps without weight, and while with weight u just gotta still do massive sets and reps. calfs imo are one fo the muscle that just need high reps rather than weight to develope

i agree, calves are one of the most slow twitch skeletal muscles (i think?) because you walk around all day and use them with every step so they benefit the most from very high rep training. I have trained them up for strength and they only got veinier not bigger lol... i noticed I got them the most sore when I hit them with lots of reps and some agonizingly painful dropsets.

WELL DUDE i didn't realize that all the log threads had gotten moved to the Cycle Info section (which is where they should be but i haven't checked this section in forever, it was only by chance I thought "WHERE ARE THE LOGS AT" and checked this section and found them)

anyway you know i have a personal interest in making sure this cycles goes smoothly, so I'll keep watching. But when I watch logs I watch from the shadows and make small comments every now and then cuz I'm not into 10000000000 page logs with 5 pages between each workout. So don't worry I'll be quiet but I'll be watching, like a stalker ;).

wouldn't you think it would be the opposite. i mean thats sorta like saying you walk around all day your gonna have big calves. so you would need hella weight and not soo many reps to stimulate growth? im pretty sure arnold said that he finally grew his calves when he started training them really heavy and more frequently.. i also think calves are a lot about genetics cause you see some guys that dont workout have huge calves and you can have a guy that works them a couple times a week and they just dont wanna grow.. idk. i know for one thing i was training them high reps and i didnt notice jack, personally i've got better results with heavy weight lower reps

I guess we are all different, for me the best results have come from working them 3x a week with moderate weight and between the 12-15 rep range. Im a big beliver on pre-exhausting all leg muscles before training weather it be quads hams glutes or calves. like you said beast we walk around all day so IMO to grow these muscles we really have to stimulate them....JMO

i think the main idea is that they have a greater % of slow twitch muscle fibers which are stimulated better through higher rep workouts

other muscles like triceps and hamstrings have a higher % of fast twitch muscle fibers and benefit more from heavy lifting (part of why i would do my SLDLs so heavy)

but yeah everybody is different. for me I usually go by soreness to gauge what kind of damage i'm dealing to my muscles and high intensity high reps works the best

i really can't train my calves with under 15 reps, they do not hit failure in a way that I like. Sort of like DB shoulder raises, you just can't do a set of 6 of them, the failure point is too undefined.

Pinned delt today. All of my gear is smooth, UG and HG.... Nice.

25mg dbol this morning. (forgot I was gonna work chest tonight so i dosed early)

The thermo's are still doing their job. Diet is on point. Macros have been 50/20/30 or close to it... If this is leaning me out at 300g of protein a day, then I can only imagine what keto will do.

Cardio yesterday was the elliptical in my garage, wearing sweats and then a 20-30 minute walk with my dog. Everything on me was drenched in sweat, and I probably downed a gallon of water upon returning. My boy was happy tho, big ol pitty smile cuz daddy's been walking him extra :D

Libido is ridiculous. Got some dome, smashed twice, and still wanted more yesterday. But I was tired so I fell asleep. Morning wood is ridiculous. RIDICULOUS. Have to raise my leg just to piss haha... Sorry if TMI

The MST IBCAA's that im taking are a really nice treat. I mixed a scoop with a scoop of vanilla nutra and it tasted like a strawberry milkshake. Perfect post workout meal with a banana.

I'm feeling unstoppable right now... It's only the 4th day of dbol... and I dont know if its just mental but ive been a good mood lately, like nothing can fukk with it... recovery has been very good this last week, i attribute some to the long list of supplements, and the fact that I have been sleeping like a rock.
