Day 4 on Hemo - Straight Crushing Fools 100% Gangsta Can't Be Touched...zomg

I'll make this another quick one. I'm in a rush again today.

Sick workout as usual on this jibbady-doo that they call Hemodraulix. I popped my usual 8 jelly capsules (these things are funky looking) about an hour after breakfast, along with 4 RPM caps. Hit the gym about 20-25mins after this.

Today's Workout: Back/Bis/Calves

CG Dual Axis Pulldown Machine
WG Pulldown
Straight Arm Pulldown
Rope Hammer Curls
Straight BB Curls
Preacher Curl Machine
Donkey Calf Raise - Russian's Routine

I was up on everything on back, but par on biceps. I think that's only because my biceps are so pre-exhausted from all the back work that they just don't have much more gas. I may alternate doing biceps first because I need this lil baby guns to grow.

Pump was pretty nasty. I had on this oversized Samuel Adams beer T-shirt that my buddy gave me, and about three sets in, the sucker was about to tear.

The calf routine was crazy. They're still a little wibbly-wobbly.

I applied a little extra Renegade balm this morning, and I gotta say I felt pretty freaking alpha...but nothing new here. :usa1: - I'm pretty sure I was glowing with an aura of awesomeness. - I kid. I'm not THAT arrogant. :006:

Here's a picture I took about 20 mins ago. I had completely lost my pump by this time, and was starting to bloat from the post-workout meal. I look much leaner in the mornings, so I'll try to get one of those pics up soon. Maybe tomorrow. I know I've put some pudge on since my Epi cycle, but that's to be expected. I think I'm making good enough progress in other areas to allow a little fat gain. It's kind of inevitable. I'm just making sure I keep my waist in check...I also know my legs have lost a little size, but I'm over caring at this point. They'll come back, and I have faith that it will even be on this routine.

Your legs didn't look as big as they traditionally have, HOWEVER, the quad separation stood out to me more in this shot then previous "bigger" shots. The quad separation are about as apparent as I've seen them. The lines seems to run deeper and farther up.

I noticed this same thing. I don't know what the reason for it is. I think my hamstrings may have been what lost size, not my quads. But ya, the separation is pretty deep.

Edit: I also have more abdominal and chest hair on me than my pics during the Epi log. It's possible that is making me look less lean.

Agree. Quad separation counts more than size :D
 
A Freaking Off Day. Blech.

Do you guys ever get excited at night thinking, "Sweet. I don't have to workout in the morning." - And then morning rolls around, and all you want to do is hit the gym? That's how I feel right now. And tomorrow is off too!! Although I don't think I'll worry much about that. It's Father's Day, so I'll be doing stuff with my old man.

I have to whine a little bit, here...I can totally tell I've lost size in my glutes, and it's really disappointing. There is really nothing to properly work my glutes other than deep BB Squats or even the V-Squat, and I can't do either. :(

The back seems to be healing, but very, VERY slowly. It's not nearly as bad in the morning when I wake up, but I still have some pain here and there, but it's not achy throughout the day like it used to be; however, I know there is no way I'd be able to do Squats right now. There is definitely still some deep muscle pain, and I know it would give out in a second if it was put under a lot of stress. Hopefully the healing process will pick up speed. I'm getting sick of laying off the compound stuff. It's possible I can do BB Hacks, especially now that I'm using light weight for this routine, so we'll see come Wednesday what my back is capable of.

Today is sort of a cheat-meal day. I don't feel like grilling up more chicken before work, and I have enough for Meal 3, just not Meal 4, so I'll be going to Subway for Meal 4.

EDIT: I've decided that I'll continue this diet and training routine for about another 4 weeks (hopefully get Squats in for the last two weeks of it), then I'll spend a month dieting down and shedding this fat I've put on over the last couple months. Assuming I can hit 190lbs in the next 4 weeks, I'll try to diet down to about 180-182lbs over that month, leaving me with a net gain of 7-9lbs of LBM since March. :)

EDIT 2: Real DOMSy today. Back and traps are blasted. Biceps and delts are sore, as are forearms and calves. - This routine is freaking intense. I wasn't expecting any of this when I first started, but when you actually load up the weight to the max that you can do in that rep range, it's pretty crazy.

At first, I was using real light weight and was only dropping the weight in the 4-6 rep range because of the lactic acid buildup...so I forced myself to use some heavier weight (relatively speaking) that I was still able to control while doing the 4-2-4ct, and it's pretty crazy.
 
Glad to hear the back is healing up, at least its heading in the right direction and remaining the same.

I hate restless, rest days as well, especially if I'm on stims, which I've stopped until Monday.
 
If it makes you feel any better you still have some of the best legs on AM. (homo x a billion)

Definitely looking good. You are the equivalent of big hairy beast my man. A big hairy Irish beast, one of the Best! Sadly my Irish only shows in my beard where I got a red patch of hair...calico style.

...I had a large bowl of teh ground beefz before to make sure i countered all them nasties with some quality proteennz.

Edit: I'm ditching my nighttime dose of BC+EAA for another meal for this last month before I diet down. It will be some lean meat and veggies. Uhmmmzzz oh and my HMB will be moved from my pre-bed dose to a pre-workout dose, so I'll have one pre-breakfast, and one pre-workout. wordzzz

I'll def be around more, so much new stuff has come out since I havent been posting, I have spent the last 3 days just reading on here......it's like im a newb all over again, now im just hoping for them newb gains so I'm not eating my own words come august :run:

You deserve a recess from your diet on occasion. All diet no play makes IC a dull boy.

Me on the other hand, have taken it beyond recess and have played hooky for a few days, so I need to clamp it down.

Rather than going crazy, I'll probably just add more quality "growth" calories. Another 1k cals/day should do it. :)

The hardest for me will be over the weekends of July 10-12 and 24-26. I've got a class and I'll be out of town for basically those entire weekends. I'll have to figure something out.

Sometimes I hate living in a tourist town. I was just at the grocery store and was nearly trampled 10x over by the tourists headed for the beer aisle. I was the only local in there that I could see (you can easily distinguish) other than the employees, and heck, they're not even local (el Mexicanos).

Most dudes would be like, "Ya, but think of all the hot tourist girls." - Ya, that may be true, but they're all from surrounding states like Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana...those are not my type of women. I prefer my females to properly enunciate.
 
Further Diet Update

I'll go through exactly what I'm having as of right now. Changes are highlighted in bold.

30mins Pre-breakfast: 1 serving BC+EAA, 1 Formadrol Extreme, 1g VitC, 3 SLIN -I've ran out of creatine and decided to also drop the HMB for the time being. If anyone thinks this is a bad idea, let me know. I could toss it back in and do a Pre-breakfast and Pre-workout dose.

Meal 1: 6oz chicken breast, bowl of blueberries/raspberries, 3 slices of Ezekiel bread w/honey, 4 whole eggs, glass of skim milk, 1 NOW ADAM

Pre-wo: ECG or RPM (3-4), 8x Hemodraulix

Intra-wo: 3 servings BC+EAA, 10g BCAA, 60g WMS, 1g VitC

Immediately Post-workout: 3 SLIN (20mins before Meal 2), 1 Detour Oatmeal bar (60g C / 30g P) - Bar on workout days only

Meal 2: 2 scoops protein in milk, bowl of blueberries/raspberries, 3 slices cinnamon-raisin Ezekiel bread

Meal 3: 7oz chicken, 1.25 cups brown rice, handful of both broccoli and green peas, 1 scoop protein, 3 Fish oil, 1 NOW ADAM

Meal 4: Same as Meal 3

Meal 5: 1.5 turkey burgers, handful of broccoli

Meal 6: 1 can of tuna, 2 scoops Dymatize Elite 12hr in skim milk, 9g fish oil, 2 Formadrol, 1g VitC


Distilled Water Beatdown Schedule - 8 weeks out

Today marks the start of Week 1. My cals have increased by roughly 600-1k (depending on if it's an off day or training day). Goals ahead...

Weight should be ~190-192lbs by the end of Week 4.

Dieting down:

Week 5: Drop dairy and intra-wo carbs
Week 6: Get rid of carbs past Meal 2
Week 7: Start carb cycling (~50/100/150)
Week 8: Show time. :)
