Yes, it might! Especially if you have Type 2 Diabetes with some pancreatic beta cell integrity still intact. This formula contains ingredients that have demonstrated insulin sensitizing/boosting effects and that could help with Type 2 for sure. With Type 1 Diabetes (insulin dependent), it probably isn't strong enough to be a viable replacement, though it does contain ingredients that have shown a direct insulinomimetic effects and could theoretically, possibly substitute for insulin. If you are already on meds for insulin/sugar control, I don't recommend you try to replace them with this product (or any other products) without first consulting your doc!![]()
hey whens this stuff gonna be in stores...like gnc..?
If I am 23 is this a supplement worth taking? I was told you can really mess yourself up if you jack with insulin at an early age; now granted this isn't injectable insulin but still. Also, how do you know how to asses your tolerance? Do you feel dizzy or odd when you take to much?
i dont know if this has been mentioned or anything but what does this do different than anabolic pump just reading the claims it seems the same i dont really know too much about ingredients and everything. not tryin to bad mouth im just curious and lazy...
Exactly, J. Type 2 diabetics may very well be able to reap some benefits from a product like this - especially those that are currently diet controlled only.
Contrary to what many people think, type 2 diabetes is a whole different beast in many ways. Very often the pancreatic beta cells as you said will still produce insulin, however the issues begin to manifest when factors such as excessive glycogenolysis (glycogen breakdown) activity within the liver leads to a persistent and difficult to control elevation in serum blood glucose despite the insulin that is produced naturally to combat it. There are also many issues with insulin resistance at the cellular level - where a product like this could help attenuate the degree of insulin receptor resistance and significantly improve glucose disposal/utilization; the end result could lead to better overall diabetic management as a whole.
While nothing is substitute for a medically managed regimen in diabetes control, but something like this can definitely help to potentiate effects and possibly decrease the frequency and/or dosing of some oral diabetic medications. Imo, it would be worth discussing with your endocrinologist as a potential adjunct to treatment.

Berberine is definitely a key ingredient but there are others that are also key I would guess. As to the synergy of these ingredients only time will tell. I am a bit in the dark about how berberine and na-r-ala would work together I can only speculate. Perhaps a laymen explanation would help here. I am suprised nobody has brought this up.
There is alot of talk of this supp being hailed as the greatest natural supp. As of now, the asteroid stack of USPLabs is running away with successes and orders. Do you honestly believe that this will give USPLabs a run for their money?! And what are the pros and cons over such supps say as Prime, DTHC, etc.
I'm VERY interested to see these answers!
Berberine recruits the GLUT1 transporter and possibly AMP–activated protein kinase, ALA more recruits the GLUT4 maybe. There are other differences too, and it's not totally clear yet, but I'm keeping it basic like you asked. It just works to "fool-proof" the whole formula having them both in there, because many people are not very responsive to berberine alone. Also, you don't want to add too much berberine anyway, because at higher doses it can actually block carb absorption in the gut, which would obviously be counter productive to glycogen deposition and may cause stomach upset too.
Plus, it was assumed that many people might stack this with additional things that could be potentially liver toxic (if you know what I mean) so the presence of Na-r-ALA helps guard liver health as a strong anti-ox stacking partner. This form of ALA has a bioavailable yield that's about 21x more potent than regular ALA (determined by AUCs) so the dose of 500mg/day is outrageous with this supp.
All these factors were considered and the formula was calculated to work pretty much for anyone, no matter what their goal, or if they even know what their goal is.![]()
It definitely doesn't bloat you, actually the opposite.
It is best taken with complex carbs.
Is this product good for endos? Spook wrote at another site that insulin manipulating supplements isn't good for endos, but great for ectos.
And another famous product AP give many users massive bloating. I got lot of water and belly fat when took this stuff with simple carbs, even preworkout.
I just asking, no criticism.
hey crowler i think i sent you a pm last night. any chance you got it?
Thank you for the post!
USP Labs has GREAT products. The owner of USPLabs is a personal friend of mine, there is no competition here.
I am not familiar with the asteroid stack so can't say.
Please link me to where anyone said this supp is being hailed as the greatest natural sup
Sometimes I really think people misunderstand.
Tell us how you really feel OZ!!!:laugh:GOD DAMN RIGHT!
Cant stand those F**king "Hey guys, just had to let you all know bout this new herb from India or tibet that we found" BULLSH*T. A massive insult to the average guys intelligence and just plain annoying. As you put perfectly, was made, THEN mentioned, then released. Little to no fuss. SO refreshing to be treated with some respect by a company. i'll puke and smash my Comp screen If I see another "Just had to tell you guys" thread.
Way to go AI.

Dr. D, I'm new to the forums here and have read nothing but positive comments for you so I trust this will be a high quality product that delivers.
However, I tried reading through most the posts and was wondering just how much gain one can expect to make on this. I just got done taking Activate Xtreme for a month and am looking to gain some size. Can results of this product be comparable to something like a creatine, test booster, etc? Basically just what kind of realistic gains in what amount of time if taken correctly with a good diet?
Sometimes I really think they need to do more research as opposed to them misunderstanding...There has been a ton of you Reps on here answering every question that keeps coming up and even some Reps that really have gone all out trying to HELP people, not just necessarily sell your product. That's first class support IMO....Good Job....LOL:18:
Even then Biggy, with the researching. Not everyone is good at it. Take me for example-Nice guy, but borderline retarded. So when i try and research things I end up more confused as often as not. I guess its just part an parcel with being a Rep, that you will have to be patient and often repeat yourself.
Always
If NP can sort a better postage option for internationals (steve-0 is on it) I will be sure to grab me some of this bad boy! Anyone that inspires as much man love as Dr D MUST be good at making supps....
Welcome to the Board mate. But I dont think D, or anyone can answer that question. The "how much will I gain question" has too many variables man, that no one can possibly know. Plus peoples genetics etc. Everyone is different, everyone trains at a different intensity, people sleep alot/ not enough, this list goes on and on. Just grab some and try for yourself....

True bro even myself isn't the smartest tard out there lol and I have severe CRS (Can't Remember Sh!t)...and no questions should be dumb ones i guess but alot of questions ppl ask have been previously answered, we seem to have a lot of drive by posters...LOL:laugh:
I think USPS 7-10 day international starts at around $15? Light packages should not be that costly.
You would think so. Somehow even shipping $25g costs 26.50 via USPS Priority Mail International. I passed on the info about First Class Shipping which should be cheaper, and we're still looking into it since there are different restrictions. But hopefully we can make these costs more reasonable.
Subscribed.
The new frontier seems to be non-hormonal supplements that are highly effective. Can't wait to try it....

If its non-hormonal then it can't be highly effective![]()
yeah the shipping cost for international orders is a problem, I hope you guys can do something about that cause it seems like that we are paying for another supplement with the actual costs
You'd be surprised!!
I wish that be true, but i wasted a lot of money in tons of "miracle supps" without really big effects.
I only got "real" and visible results with PHs.
So IMO, the only way to really get true gains are hormonals (AAS/PH/DS). The only non-hormonal supps i use are "the basics" (proteins, carbs, creatine). Other supps are pure "marketing tactics" and you really dont get great gains (appart from the "placebo effect").
