Ive been an active member for a few years giving lots of advice on anything besides PH lately. To be the only one not voted for means that either im out classed, useless or not posting in the right places.

Ive proven my ability to log, i put my self out there by posting pics, video and have always done a great job with sponsored logs and of my own.

Brutal being last at anything, lol. Good thing i have money, looking forward to the blood work and good luck.

Hahahahaha I might try that. Slick is great for reversing your mind thoughts. Its that Jedi thing he does on the beach to the ladies! now hes using it here on AM!
 
Tied for 7th place! It's a close race at the top actually! This could come down to the wire. I'm excited to see these logs up no matter who it is. Peace, and I'm out :biglaugh:
 
I vote for Russianstar because he trains hardcore just like I do, has experience in the PH area, trains for pure LBM, and will give a fair anaylsis of the product. He is definitely one person I would like to see run it.

i remember the frustration though as a new member, getting beaten out of logging opportunities by people who flaked and thinking "dammit, i wouldn't have done that". but in a way, you have to prove that you'll post daily, that you're not the flake, and build up your own reputation, so log what you've got on hand, and show the board what you can do :)

agreed, I ran about 4-5 huge logs before I ever got a sponsored one. Some of those logs were 8-12 weeks log as well. Most if not all of those people on the voting list have put in the effort on AM over the years and certainly all deserve a chance.

Also as a company, you can't afford to take to many risks on new people. I myself have chosen the odd new person and regretted it...some people simply run half arsed logs... which isn't really good enough. So it's just safer to choose the usual bunch.

My advice to new people, get some product and log your finding, log everyday, with some well thought out detail, also try and check spelling and grammar now and then. One person comes to mind.. :P

This is a great opportunity for whoe ver wins and we are all lucky to have had our names on the list.

Whoever wins I am really looking forward to seeing the logs on this.

I like to see new people logging, but from a company's point of few, they probably want guys who have a good reputation here logging their stuff b/c more people will tune in and read about it. The more popular a person is, the more people will read his/her log, the more product the company will sell.
On the other hand, it's hard to build up rep., if you never get a chance to log. And just becase someone is popular doesn't make them a better logger. What came first, the chicken or the egg? I vote Chegg.

good point but then why not have a veteren logger and an inexperienced one too, one that needs the help and experience?
 
That's why they're saying that an inexperienced logger can gain experience by logging something on their own that isn't sponsored. It can be something that they're already taking (creatine, protein etc) or it can be as free and simple as a journal/log on their exercise routine. This is where they make their mistakes and learn the best approach for a thread with a lot of people interested in it.

An inexperienced person with no real history can be a risk most companies wouldn't want to take.

Yeah, for sure. In general we try to, but at what this costs and the particular type of product it is too we wanted to be sure we'd actually get the logs rather than a boxmeman :) For most other product launches we do try to give at least one or two to first time loggers.

tp I was gonna say something similar. It is good to give new blood a run, however there is always a risk, and moreso with the newer folk.

Either way, there is a nice selection there, and should hopefully lead to some solid logs
 
Don't take my post out of context when hmmm'ing. Inexperienced with no user history... Someone who is on the board regularly and posts useful information isn't someone without a history.

Thank you sir.. Hoping to get this win.. I am putting on a local strongman competition this summer for Ronald McDonald House charity through my gym and really want to bring the thunder at the event so we can raise as much money as we can for these kids. Until then, I'm eating like its my job to put on as much mass as possible.

lol - damn! ya, this thread exploded! I think it shows how much interest there actually is in The One + Second Gear. I'm tied for 9th now. I figure with a couple hundred members here, I'm still top 1% ...lol :) - I totally understand having to build some rep back up after being gone for a while - I'm still a newbie here with no PH experience at this point.

I voted for Sarah Palin.
 
I'm a little surprised tattoopierced1 hasn't gotten more votes, for the same reasons Jayhawk mentioned - I dont think anyone else here has such an impressive transformation with good photo documentation over the years, showing his dedication

In all honesty though, everyone in the poll above deserves to win, not one person over the other.. so it should be a good log no matter who wins it.

True. When you select a logger you want to KNOW that they will give a regularly updated, OBJECTIVE and informative log on their experience with the product they're sponsored with, so that others can have an idea of its effects...In saying that though, when AN first approached me to run a sponsored log way back when I had never logged anything before; it was simply through reading through my BodySpace and seeing what I was like and what I had done and taking that chance (often those who are not already at the top get overlooked (as in the elite sports world when it comes to sponsorship), which can be hard for those trying to come through (especially since they're the ones that need the MOST help); although a little different when it comes to this, but you understand where I am coming from). I also believe that my extensive training history and little supplement use (nothing but the staples really) and attention to detail and wanting to know everything about what I was doing and knowing how my body reacted to changes had a big part. Sometimes you take chances and they play off well; other times...With a product such as The ONE however you want someone who KNOWS their stuff and IS reliable...
 
i say we should let somewhatgifted try it out. his logs are on point and he tries to videotape himself to show you that he's not full of ****. If your wanting a full run down of your product, i think he's the one that would get the results and show you what he's doing as well. alot of these people have been running quite a few cycles, it might be wise to try someone with fresh receptors and a hunger to get bigger. that's my opinion but everyone is entitled to their own.
 
So ultimately, (with essentially lowish voting numbers ) and the closeness of this. The AN reps can essentially (at this point) choose the people who log anyway. There are like 4 AN reps still to vote. haha this could get political :P

If you want to know about a person, their logs, posts and reliability why not look at the "threads started by..." Then take a peek at the FACTS. By putting this to a vote its become a populatiry contest. Thats why Vets come in and say "oh why hasnt so and so been voted for?" cause they do the work put in time and know who knows their ish.

If you guys "did the research" on the people applying then you may choose the same as the people have (voters) .... OR maybe not.
 
I figured that I was going to log this one way or another...it was just a matter of if it was going to be sponsored or not.

it's going to be a close race for a few of these guys!

these are going to be some great logs and I'll def be following along!
 
Alrighty, after getting over my original dismay at not being chosen,.. I put my vote in for gifted!!!

In the event of a tie, this may have to go to rms80 for the final decision......
