THIS IS GREAT LOL! From the people I have spoken to, they say the hate the way you promote, your confidence in your products, they only consider Prime to be some type of tribulus, the fact that you argue with forum members so much and are real defensive of your products, the comparison of prime to d-bol, the fact that you stood up to bb.com's Patrick Arnold, the fact that everything you do is so different from the market, the fact that you do not answer questions that are asked in accordance to your products, the name Asteroid stack, p-slin equals skin bursting pumps, and of course the "non-responder" excuse, this is what I have heard from many different sources, I stand by your products because they work, period!
 
I think you said it quite succinctly Jacob.. The competition hates you because you are their competition, and you can throw in some impatient folks as well who get caught up in good ol' fashion AIDA Attention,Interest,Desire,Action.. All part of marketing.
Personally I have used and do use your products, and find them beneficial to my health overall.
Specifically speaking in regards to your bulk powder products, you have given the customer the ability to create their own dosage protocol and to experiment. This not only engages the customer, but also creates trust, and at the end of the day its fun to mix up a concoction of SuperSap,1-C, and some SuperCissus for a pre-bedtime supplement.
Alot of advantages to doing what you are doing, and if the competition hates you all the better, cause they won't forget who you are. :-)

Well said, this is why economists do not like WalMart, they feel as though they are some form of a MONOPLY. Obviously you are doing something right that people out there are trying to stomp your tracks.

Yeah, it's just that simple.

I remember you (J) saying once that "people hate success". Well let me add to that by saying "misery loves company". As long as your competition is struggling and you are doing good, you will always have a bullzeye on your forehead. It's that same feeling of hatred that drove Cain to slew his brother Abel and it's been in this world ever since. I go through this sorta thing which seems almost daily at my job and i'm sure i'm not alone.
 
Because USPlabs doesn't compete, they set the bar. While other companies are trying to create the next great clone, USP creates unique products that work really well. Their slogan should be something like "why try reinventing the wheel when you can choose to fly" . HAHA they can probably think of something less corny, but still they have an amazing product line. What other supplement line can you think of that everyone of their products is unique and gives you great results . Keep it up Jacob.

Why the competition hates you? or the end user? Initial thread states competition, so here goes.

Fear or some perception of fear.

Pretty plain and simple.

This fear can manifest into to many, many different symptoms, but it all comes from fear.

99.9 of all aggression/hate comes from some sort of fear.

My top fear pick would be potential and/or real tangible monetary loss.

Less not forget. Sometimes, like myself, you can be an arse. :)



Whatever came of that other post about a new product and remembering the date? Wasnt there supposed to be a winner in there too?

The plain and simple is that you're hated because you have found a way to generate interest in your products in a manner that they weren't able to. It also doesn't hurt that your products work well for most folks.

Do you ignore them?!? I don't think so... you give them just as much if not even more sh*t than they give you! you beat them down, when they try to beat you down! you got a right to stand up for yours.

Now there are reasons why people don't like you...
But you are asking why the competition doesn't like you and that's just the easiest thing in the world to say. I'll do so with pictures.


Everyone else is the first picture, USPLabs is the second one. And the best part about USPLabs is that every year or sooner they come out with new products, and get a new girl. While the competetion just keeps getting older and more dilapidated.

Ok I've got this one...

First of all your competitors fear you... You've just grabbed a large chunk of the market. They can't afford not to hate you. It's about making money and I know some companies it's a bit more. You can see when there is a difference though. I will never get how people think that we can't see right through them. Your actions make you Transparent as glass!! With USP you can see there is an effort to help their consumers reach their goals. Time and time again I have seen them reach out and do things that help the consumer, things they don't have to do, cuz their product speaks for itself. Other companies do it but USP does it more often.

Now marketing is the reason competitors have it out for you, but it's not hate really. No it's just a method they use to try to sway others oppinions. They inspire hate but not sure that they really hate you. They use it as a tool to try and discredit you. How is this done ? It's kind of obvious... remember the transparency. They minipulate negative individuals to do there bidding. They don't go out and tell these people to attack you; they will fan the flames, they will plant the seed. I think 90% of the bad press comes at you indirectly from these types of sources. Dim whitted negative peons that are incapable of formulating there own opinion on anything. You know the type the kind that can only make them feel adequate if they are trying to make others feel worse about themselves. I am not talking about those who come forth with honest critisism or honest questions or those who try the products and honestly feel they don't work for them.

When you claimed that you can produce supplements that rival some hormonal supplements, you really got a lot of people and companies angry. First your taking money out of their pocket or potentiially so, I mean who uses a hormonal supplement when there is a viable natural alternative. I'll let you do the math. There are some that are not convinced you have done this ... I guess that's fair enough. There are others who dispute your right to even claim it. They don't stop there they attack your consumers and dispute our right to our own opinion. Tell me is this someone who is confident in the ineffectiveness of your product. If your product really doesn't work would the really spend so much time with negative reports, and fake reviews, no again it is very clear (transparent if you will), that fear is the main reason.

Denial is one of the strongest forces I have ever encountered, despite overwhelming evidence and success from very experienced persons. They will always be able to convince people that what you say is not true. Many of your competitors don't actually believe that but it's the only way they know how to make a buck. Incidently I don't think all competitors hate you. I will trust a competitor that has something good to say about another company, and likely never trust one that has nothing good to say. Transparency ... your actions.

Not a bad name at all... I tell people it is named Asteroid Stack and the A should stand for Anti. Yep, the Anti Steroid stack because there is no reason to go to the dark side when you can get these kind of results while improving your health and not lose the gains when it is over.

That Sir is also why you also are hated, feared, and envied. Never before has a company come out with a product line that not only has such great performance and anabolic benefits; but has as many benefits to your overall health in the process. This alone strikes fear in any performance alone based supplement companies. They understand and see the trend of health concerned individuals moving to natural products, and especially products with health benefits to boot. The more strides you make as a performance based company only becomes multiplied by the health benefits and referrals that come from them. I alone have recommended both PSlin and Anabolic Pump to EVERY insulin resistant member of my family. Here is the kicker that also promotes the competition to loathe you, these people I am recomending it to DON'T EVEN WORKOUT. That is the type of product line, and user base your company has. Same with SuperCissusRx, there is not a person I have met with any type of chronic issue or pain I have not recommended it to. Once again most of whom don't workout. SuperCissusRx the NSAID alternative.

The closer they allow you to climb to the top of the marketing ladder only secures them a lower place in the supplement industry. They can not do anything about the quality of the USP Product line so they MUST taint the only thing they can... the image of the products. Don't take offense this is merely a reactionary form of survival. This is the same instinct that causes a young lion to roar and roar as he approaches a new Pride in an effort to look more powerfull and intimidating than the current Alpha male he is challenging. UNTIL he gets slapped down and runs to the next Pride hoping to find a weaker male to dominate. You are the king of the jungle when it comes to natural non hormonal supplementation. You lead the Pride that the other males want to lead and that can mean only one thing. Battle.

The bottom line is integrity of the USP Labs product line is unquestionable and your marketing techniques capture the passion of both your detractors and your consumers into a whirlwind of debate often ending in more than a little knowledge being shared and a detractor or two converted. That is why you are both feared and respected.

The 6th grade explanation is much simpler. You are in the middle of a supplement industry game of King of the Hill and you are on top. You remember now right? Everyone is supposed to try to pull you down. It is all going according to plan. ;)

I think some other guys have summed it up well. Every company is going to have it's fans and haters; I don't have all the details about certain companies and USP Labs (AppNut comes to mind) but the bad blood can lead to some hate. Also when there is a negative review, I think you're the only one that would make such a big issue and start a thread on it (Invalid Link Removed)

Another thing that seems to frustrate people is missed deadlines; I'm not going to try and list them all, but often when a writeup/details/contest prizes are promised at a specific time and are unmet in the timeframe, customers get angry. I would suggest offering looser timeframes/ETAs on products to prevent let-downs.

Also in the past, during heated arguments, sometimes you fell to the accuser's level and became not-too professional. I know it's tempting to do it, but keep your head high, and don't let them drag you down. "Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level then beat you with experience"

But in the end Jacob, you really can't argue with success. You are the (or atleast one of) the top vendors here at NutraPlanet. Despite these haters, you have built a very strong and dedicated consumer-base. With your expanding product line, it's sure to only grow. You're never going to be free of all the nay-sayers, so just focus on the positives and keep on keeping on :wave2:
 
I believe that the competition hates you because you have the most loyal fans, and users....While at the same time have so much negative publicity from some that you are always mentioned and thought of on this thread. And for every negative comment there are ten replies stating how good that the product worked for them. There is nothing better than a loyal group of fans and a loyal group of haters. You are always on top because of this. Everyone buzzes about USPLabs. no other company has this. none.

They hate you, because they want to be you.

Instead of Fans I like that the company has attracted many peers that all have the common goal of succeeding in the gym.

I just own a supplement company. Does not make me any different than anyone else.

A huge reason we do not participate in trade shows unless it is GNC or vitamin shoppe related. I rather spend money gifting some product to my peers.

Honestly, the company hate is not from any company on this board but because of our retail success in Vitamin shoppe and GNC. Which is hurting the pockets of the big boys.....

I think AnabolicMinds has a good group of companies that respect eachother.

Couldn't you say that there are users/peers and fans? people that have used your product and seen their results. Whether positive or negative they take record of it because this was 'USPLabs' not another company. And being that they remember their experiences they in themselves relate/promote your products whether positively or negatively They find themselves sharing their experiences to anyone that asks.

This in turns makes us users and fans. Because here at AM we are all here to bench more, squat more, lose weight, and get big. therefore the difference isn't in that we are all related, but that we are all fans whether in a good way or not, and are often times more willing to talk about your products, then another companies.

Also you do not just own a supplement company, you own one of the top supplement companies out there. people who have had contact with USPLabs know you. They aspire to be like you or to be nothing like you based on their experiences with or through you. I know that I would like to know you, not just because of your wisdom and wit with helping me grow as a body builder like some users here... but rather because you are the one that made possible the supplements from USPLabs, that gave me new insight into many things, and another world. I do not know anyone here that is seeking things from me, product from me, or my (specifically me) knowledge. but everyday there is a question for you.

I do know however that people respect you, and those that swear they don't will still read your posts and take your advice, why? because you are USPLabs, because you are who you are!
 
everyone over here loves usp labs. i personally have used these products with mixed reviews. . but on other boards it seems like the supporters for your company are few and far between. not sure why. i would like to find that out too.

No offense to bb.com but there is too much posies and groupies over there, at AM for the most part we are non-bias, as Jacob said, I am not a fan but an a supporter of him and his reps because their supps help me to succeed athleticly and in the gym, PERIOD!
 
Not a fan of any of your products to say the least

the problem i have is that any negative reviews are suppressed. i think if someone came here and said that a usp labs product sucks jacobb and his reps would swarm him and try and destroy his credibility and call him a hater. just my 2c.

Did you hear about the USPlabs product that had negative reviews before it was released that was posted by the competition....Just an FYI and it was validation of the hate and previous deletions of fabricated reviews.

I'm the first to say that USPlabs supplements will not work for all but many are happy with them, some ecstatic, and some are breaking Personal records like clockwork.

We will always discuss an intelligent response or review good or bad about our supplements with questions but as you stated, the comments like "your supplement suck" is not intelligent discourse.
