What car do you drive?

Ford made some sick cars in Australia with better designs. The original falcon was the first economy, small car for Ford and sold millions. I think the first Australian Falcon was based on the Ford Torino from the USA. It is the MAD MAX car I think. Great design, with good lines. A lot of Ford buffs in America actually buy imported Aussie engine parts. The Aussie parts are unique, and generally far superior for stock parts.

I just can't get past the steering wheel being on the right side of the car though!!

haha serious? i didnt know that

yea the mad max car was a pure Aussie Falcon, XB model sedan! I'd kill for one. Back in the 60s I think the XY GT's were the fastest 4 door cars in the world! And they sold for what was back then like 5 aussie g's... obviously people earnt less... today in mint condition they can sell for in excess of a million!

It's not for everybody, but I gets a lot of looks. You do notice it and I have been thinking about wrapping it.

Ha im just messin bro. Im sure you do get looks. ha. But atleast you picked the right color. Ive seen yellow and brite green. haha. Ive heard there excelent rides and well worth your money!

Nice Crader! I love dirty girls :)

Oops, I meant... I mean "mud" when I say "dirty"...and "strong, independent woman" when I say "girl"...and...uhmm...so I have a Jeep too (midnight blue)... lol :P

33" on mine as well, but the pics below still have the 30" on...and some chrome that I've since removed, lol.

Uhmm...apparently we don't have any of those things you call "roads" up in Canada :P
No anti-perspirent either, so I have to dry my armpits in the wind...

Lol love the JEEP!! Sexy rides they are and made for off-roading! Well and lack of deodorant :saevil:..lmao!

Black Jeep Wrangler on 33" mud tires.

I had a 97 Jeep Wrangler with 33s....I absolutely loved it, and got more damn attention in that than any other car Ive ever had....unfortunately I wound up selling it last year to a buddy of mine....

LOL it really is amazing the amount of people who stare when you drive them. Although the wa wa wa sound of the mud tires rolling up beside them might be part of it!

I love the thing to death, although I am having quite a bit of electrical issues with it..grrr.

I love a good quad ride. Those are great stress relievers. And motorcycles are my passion. The Jeep with the top down is the closest you can get to it.

My plan is to learn to ride myself someday!

I'm in a 2007 dodge nitro now. Its basically a jeep cherokee, I hated it when jeep dumped those, happy that dodge picked it back up with the nitro (and for 2009 the liberty is built on the same line as the nitro) . the 68 corvette is in the garage too :)

What engine in the nitro? engine is most important thing

Thats whats in my Jeep! GAS HOG!!!! But besides that I don't know if yours is the same way. My radiator went right before Christmas, turns out that the seals going into the head were leaking also. Well apparently Jeep made them so you have to dissasemble the whole engine to fix it..grrrrrr

$1,500 to replace a radiator and that stupid seal.

Learning to work on them yourself (or making Dsade learn to do it), will save you lots!

I am having quite a bit of electrical issues with it..grrr.

I hadnt driven my Jeep in a week or so, and I took the kids out driving one weekend in it....I noticed immediately that the fuel guage and the speedometer had quit working.....I thought damn, it must be a fuse. When we got home, I played around in the fuse box, but couldnt find anything blown. I finally gave up, and shortly after my son noticed some wires hanging down from the bottom of the Jeep....I bent down and noticed that there were several wires torn loose and just hanging.....turns out my wifes Boxer puppy got up underneath and pulled them loose...HE WOUND UP DOING IT THREE ****ING TIMES!

Gas hog here too ('97 4.0L on 33" tires). My rad went 2 summers ago, but it only cost me around $100 to replace. I had a friend help me too to make sure I didn't screw up - I also had a separate oil cooler. Even though I don't know much about cars, I try to do all the maintenance/repairs myself. (fluids, brakes, etc). I've gone through 2 or 3 thermometer thingies too. I put in a Durango/Dakota steering box last year or so ago. A little more solid than the TJ ones.

I do the Jeep wave when offroad or when the top is down in the summer. Unfortunately I find it's not as common up here as I thought it would be - too many "posers" I guess.

As soon as it's warm enough, I take off the doors and drive topless - and keep it doorless as long as I can. Even when it rains, I'm so crazy, unless I'm dressed "important", I'll often just put the top on and put on a rain coat and continue driving without the doors, lol. I usually just get some refreshing mist, and really enjoy it - I barely get wet unless it's blowing hard sideways. It's like I'm on a boat or something. :)

Life is too short to care what other people think of me - I enjoy it, and that's what counts.

I have a 1982 Trans Am with a crate engine, but the unibody is starting to get pretty rusty. It would be too expensive to have someone else fix it and I can weld but not THAT well, so I think it has to go. It's a sad time for me because I wanted that car since I was 8 years old watching Knight Rider. At least I've lived the dream once.

Just park it somewhere. I wouldn't get rid of that thing for nothing!

A 1994 Ford Ranger Splash 4.0 V6 with a throwout bearing on it's way out....wondering if I should bother replacing the clutch on a 183k vehicle.

A 1997 Ford Mustang v6 (Mainly my woman's ride). About 90k on it...no major problems ever with it (fingers crossed).

I would really like to upgrade vehicles soon, but I truly love both of them. BTW: We're not like die-hard Ford people, just kinda worked out that way this time.

2004 white with custom cow manure body cladding Silverado 5.3L 'pasture partier', 2004 white Kia Sorento 'wife transport', 1995 Haro Escape with almost as many miles as the motorized vehicles. And hopefully soon to be on the road Intenational Scout 800 on 35's

Clutches are easy but if you are going to keep it you should also replace pretty much all the bushings in the frame if you haven't as they will be destroyed by now.. That will be harder because most of the connectors will be rusty as heck unless you like in CO or AZ or something
