Very similar to front squats but the bar is much easier to control than up on your shoulders. My entire body is toast after these.

The center of gravity is going to be lower but still in front of you so very quad intensive and from the looks of it lower back is getting worked hard there too. Also to me it looks like it may be easier to hold the bar than a front squat.
 
I also found that you can play with the stances. I was doing them wide and very narrow.

Excellent point. I prefer a slightly wider than shoulder width. What I would term as a normal stance.
Close stance Zerchers are extremely tough, which makes them very productive.
I like to put a towel in the bend of my elbows to alleviate some of the stress of the heavy weight bearing down on the forearms.

I will keep that in mind when I give them a shot.

Me too, my session was more intensive than I planned, I must of increased the resistance more than I thought. Turned a moderate session into more of a HITT. Even my moderate sessions are pretty intense these days. I set mini-goals for myself...

I feel that my cardiovascular abilities are at their highest levels than ever before. I feel really fit and healthy these days.

I have very little choice, cardio is the difference maker for guys that have a hard time getting down. I am up to only 4.5 hours a week and I hope I don't have to increase but that is not likely. I could be up to 8 near the end. I find that the intensive sessions done strategically are the least catabolic. Makes sense when you think about it.

I'm gassed up and ready this morning!! I've fueled up with some good food, 2 caps of Natadrol, 2 servings of ASGT, 1 serving of NO Fury, 200mg. caffiene, and chased it all down with a strong cup of coffee.

Yah I would be afraid to do that much stim... that is if AS GT is as strong as I have heard. I do feel however I may have to increase stim down the road as things get tougher.

SHOULDERS--Seated Arnold DB Presses--40'sX10, 70'sX13, 70'sX12>45'sX12>30'sX15. I love this exercise. I think I will do them standing next round and go up in weight. Besides, the standing version will engage my core. Feeling strong from my center.
TRICEPS--Seated Overhead Triceps Cable Extensions--100X10, 170X11, 170X9>120X10>90X14. The "horseshoes" are growing!!:mischievous: Feed 'em some more oats here in a minute.
BICEPS--Seated Alt. DB Curls--40'sX10, 70'sX11, 70'sX10>50'sX10>30'sX14. The mountain peaks were so high, I could've sworn that I seen snow on them!! LMAO Good stuff here. Felt really in the groove on these.
QUADS--Leg Extensions--100X15. 200X19, 200X19>140X10>100X16. I squeezed out a few more reps on that last drop than I did the last couple of sessions. I can see and feel my quads getting bigger, stronger, faster, etc....:yup:
HAMSTRINGS--Stiff-Legged Deadlifts--205X10, 355X12 (up 1 rep), 355X11>245X12. Kept pushing past the pain threshold. And size will be the reward for my sacrifice!! :hail:

Gonna hit up forearms and calves tomorrow morning right after my cardio session. I've got some errands to run just as soon as I can get my post-workout shake/meal in me.

Awesome fuggin workout Thunder! Good stuff, by the way, no surgery needed on the eblow. I have my knee and elbow sleeves coming in by the 1st and then i get to train like Thunder again. Well after a little bit of building back up into it that is. If the sleeves help as much as I hope, I will be getting buck in no time!

There was a time I was doing that. - It's called 1.5g of Test a week. :o

...it was rather lulzy curling 70lb DBs. I knew it wouldn't last when I came off, but it was nice while it did. :dunno:

Thunder... you are taking in like 600-700mg caffeine pre-workout? You don't see a crazy spike in BP from that? Do you ever take time off from this crazy amount of stimulants? I mean, that would destroy a mortals adrenals... Jeez dude, that much caffeine and Geranium must feel like 50mg of adderal or something.

This was just a rare occasion brosinski. A moment of folly if you will. No, I don't take these dosages on a regular basis. And yes, I take time off of stims completely. And I use diphenhydramine to clean up my receptors while I'm off the stims. It helps immensely.

I was twisted up though. ha ha

FOREARMS--DB Pinwheel Curls--40'sX10, 90'sX10, 90'sX9>50'sX11>30'sX16. Felt really strong on these. Forearms pumped up nicely too. Veins running up and down my forearms.....looked like a den of snakes under there!! :twisted:
CALVES--Seated Machine Calf Raises--200X25, 360X26, 360X24. And the bulls are growing now!! I fed 'em some oats afterward for their efforts. ha ha

Just be carefull with the big jumps TG. The tendons on...sorry to say...us older lifters aren't as resilient as these younger bucks.

90 lb pin wheels is insane by the way!!
