think i've got my next madness cycle figured out

Lyfespan, arms are trained on every back or chest exercise one can do. Aren't your biceps soar the day after you work out your back? Considering you work out your back hard enough they will be.

Please don't tell me that is your workout schedule? You will see some slow progress working out in such a slow pace like that.

I'm actually 197-199 right now pooch.

180 pre cycle.

+17 and +19 from my first cycle right now.

Oh my God...... I must be doing something right.

That's all I have to say to you. I'm not wasting my time on you pooch.

Every muscle you mentioned to work out in that week... I hit them all in 3 days. This also means I hit them more frequently. 2x a week to be exact. Whole days devoted to small muscle groups will yield small results. That's all I was saying.

I werkout on a completely different level of thinking, especially while on cycle. I werkout to kill the part and have as much tyme from the next body part that will inadvertently werk the same part i just killed, Always being sure to werk the smaller muscle first.

So shoulders should be 3 days away from chest(I like more tyme between these 2), bi's 3 days before back, and yes tris are the day before chest, but theres a reason for this. Reason being that most guys cheat theirchest with their tri's, so if mine are fatigued, i tend to really have to use only my chest.

Make sense now?


Oh and the results i have gotten, i started off 1 1/2 yrs ago 154lbs@16-18%bf, and todays weight is 186@9-11%bf cycle weight has hit 198 for a high

CM I can understand where you're coming from. When I was on cycle, I WAS able to hit every muscle group 2x a week, but as I came off, if I wanted to put up big enough weight, I had to keep it to once a week, however, I don't rest for 3 days straight. I rotate my 3 day split. On cycle protein synthesis is greater, and so it makes more sense that recovery would be faster but every one is different. Some people can do a full body workout 3 times a week and make good progress. I can't.

I am up 17 lbs after my superdrol/epi bridge, 3 weeks into PCT with somewhat decent rebound of natty test levels, so I think that the end result of a cycle will also vary from individual to individual. Remember that here we are offering suggestions, while at the same time accepting that every method does not give consistent results. Let's keep the arguing to a minimum and quit derailing Unreal's thread.
 
UM I'm sorry for starting this in your log I didn't mean to. I'm gonna lay low for a little bit.

Pooch I've been off of Superdrol for three weeks now so I doubt there is much bloat going on. I'm in the drying phase of cycle.

Wrong.

Compound movements utilized in most back exercises incorporate 2 or more joints moving, thus allowing more weight to be moved and thus causing more motor units that innervate the bicep to fire than isolated bicep work
 
If u want bigger arms u need more than just a couple sets after a chest or back workout end of story. UNLESS u are noob. In fact i have an arm day and i do a lil tris and bis with my chest and back.

Who doesnt have an arm day? Im just saying it is normal for biceps or triceps to be slightly sore after a back or chest workout..
 
Yeah if you're hitting compound movements, and you busted ass then your arms are gonna feel it. No doubt about it

Dude im no hater. He's a moron if he thinks doing a lat pulldown puts more stress on the bicep than an iso bicep exercise. If u do compound movements properly than there is basically a primary and secondary muscle used.(e.g. back-primary bicep-secondary.) I shouldn't even need to say this

I hate people like you. I have to hit my traps 2 times a week, excluding deads, just to get a slight amount of stimulation.

I try so hard to be proportional that I really did stop working my arms for a couple months. Now I just work em a little here and there. It's working pretty well so far.

man i was 225 without AAS lol and im 238 and leaner now... no not cut, about 15 or 16%. i weighed more than you do now before i started lifting lol

im sorry you cant gain weight bro, just s***y genetics for mass perhaps

And FYI, i never said not to do direct arm work, just that compound lifts will stimulate the muscle more. I dont want you to take my "horrendous" advice, just keep doing what your doing and stay small and "cut"

That's the only proof we have in the bodybuilding world where it's full of "opinions" on what works and what doesn't. Our bodies.

So lets cut this crap of battling opinions. Just state what works for you and if need be prove it with pictures.

Absolutely my man i just get real mad when i see someone say that a compound back exercise requires more muscle effort from the bicep than lets say a barbell curl. And of course this is all according to proper form. I see alot of people "curl" when doing rows lol. Maybe he falls into that category.

Not hatin on anyone just trying to get the truth out there.
