Snag's New 'USPlabs Asteroid Armageddon Assault'

Thanks Block! :wave2:

Rearranging my eating habits, I've settled on dropping to 6 meals daily now. Easier to construct my feeding portions that way, but I'll miss eating every 2-2.5hrs.. :(

Breakfast this morning (fronted by AP):
2/3 cup Bob's Red Mill Oat Bran (240cals, 42g carbs)
medium banana
1/2 scoop Isopure Isolate
1/2 TBS flax oil
5oz 96% lean beef

Roughly 550cals, largest feeding of day. 2750cals targeted consumption today..

Leg training on tap today..gotta run for now, while I still can.. :run:
:biglaugh:

There has to me some kind of reward on a leg day Invalid Link Removed

.....I ate big today too :biglaugh:

DESTROY THOSE WHEELS SNAG ! Invalid Link Removed

DONE!! :drive:
This one was for you today DF. :wave2:

Started off with heavy ATG squats, 6 setsx10/8/8/6/6/6
then, it was on to explosive speed reps the rest of the way, constant tension.
Leg extension, 2x15+1 drop set to failure (4 failure points)
Lying leg curl, 4x10+1 drop set to failure (4 failure points)
Standing calf raise, 4x10+1 drop set to failure (4 failure points)

..and then I stumbled outta there.. :684:

Rest was 90sec (squats) and 60sec (everything else except drop sets of course). I was focused, intense, angry, and sweaty! :rambo: :aargh:

Ahhh..good times. :006:

Si Amigo! It was for sure..

Something to share: I blitzed the wheels for 2 reasons: first, that's the goal in my one-bodypart-per-day plan anyway, but I also had nothing on tap for the rest of the day so I thought I'd rest & recover..
Welllll..here it is mid-afternoon, and I'm itching to go play some tennis..shoot some hoops..something! I'm craving some activity here. Recovery is unfreakingbelievable! Energy is profuse..and, have I said today how gooooood I'm feeling? :D
LOVING IT!!!

Product X and Prime, FTW! :)

I don't get the crazy recovery on Prime .. I get all the other positive symptoms. I do work harder though so I guess I get some recovery but not the kind your talking about. Maybe when the Product X comes....

I am a tad long in the tooth and more than a little crazy though ... could be a factor...

This product "X" has me very curious here guys!!

Wait, didn't LG Science have a Product X a few years ago?
I'm sure that this is just the Alpha/Beta name at this point... kind of like our Product A-1. ;)

Hmm, that must be it, you're working harder than me.

:stick: Just messin' with ya DW! I'm busting ass man, trust me. Recovery has always been a very noticeable benefit with Prime for me. Sure I got the synergy factor going on -- USP products are geared for active recovery -- but Prime has always brought that to the forefront.
Without these supps, there is no way I'm keeping the kind of activity level I am right now without running myself into the ground -- let alone pulling out a PR on my flat bench that blows away my previous all-time best! :006:

All right guys, I'm off to rehearsal tomorrow for my movie gig, gotta drive to Ohio.
I got these lines down, ready to roll!
I'm digging the alpha-male mentality I got going on -- wish we were shooting this thing tomorrow! Confidence is sky-high right now!

Everybody have a great Memorial Day weekend, and take a minute to remember why we celebrate the occasion.

Iron Lungz -- salute! :usa1:

Haha no you know what I meant .:28:.. working harder than I would normally. Yah without the supps there is no way I am doing what I am now. You seem to have some extra energy I need a lot of rest and pretty much dead during down time. I have a lot of nagging injuries too though.

Likewise :) I felt like hitting the gym everyday when I was on Prime.
Now I think 3-4x/week is ENOUGH

What the big difference for me is my workouts are so intense... I can string together one incredible workout after another. Then afterwards I'm just exhausted. I need my scheduled days off.

My workouts were quite intense on Prime (I sometimes go back through my log and go whooooa  I did that ?!!!) and yet I seemed to get away with little recovery. Different story now. Running Anabolic Edge + Activate Extreme, endurance, stamina and strength are all up, I am also able to workout with similar intensity as I did when on Prime, difference is, I REALLY REALLY REALLY NEED OFF DAYS. After the most recent leg workout I felt as energetic as a canned vegetable for the WHOLE following day Invalid Link Removed

..on that note, I'll be adding Prime to my stack very soon :D

Day #53 Shoulders/Abs (Saturday)

Also on tap today is carb-up, gonna get about 330g or so in, split over 7 meals this day (including 4 on-the-go shakes) due to activity level. :run:

330 grams ... :lick: nice!! I get to go up to around 300 today, that's good for me. Activity level will pretty high day 1 of the freak then killer ab workout. I will be using my jacked today as well. I am adding 3 extra Prime before todays workout.

I guess with all the extra activity .. Tennis and Baseball it makes cardio unecessary for the most part. I still have my racket but don't have anyone to play with.

Chiseled indeed.

My games got to be pretty rusty. I can probably come with a big serve though as it's what I rely on a lot as I don't move as good as some.

Carb day still remains clean (of course)..
Meal #3 today, simplistic and effective (and tasty!)
5oz 96% lean beef
1 cup brown rice
1.5 cups broccoli
1 egg white :p

I'm on a honey mustard kick right now, diggin' it. ;)

Gonna try to make this one later before I leave for my ball game..
Got me salivating! :food:

Blackened Salmon Sandwich
Forget the Filet-O-Fish; this may be the perfect fish sandwich. Blackening seasoning and sliced red onion add a little kick and the creamy avocado spread melts in your mouth.

Serves: 4
Preparation time: 25 minutes

Ingredients
1 pound salmon fillet, skinned and cut into 4 portions
2 teaspoons blackening or Cajun seasoning
1 small avocado, pitted
2 tablespoons reduced-fat mayonnaise
4 crusty whole-wheat rolls, split and toasted
1 cup arugula
2 plum tomatoes, thinly sliced
1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion

Preparation
1. Oil grill rack, preheat grill to high.

2. Rub blackening (or Cajun) seasoning on both sides of salmon. Grill until cooked through, about 3 to 4 minutes per side.

3. Mash together avocado and mayonnaise in a small bowl.

4. To assemble sandwiches, spread the avocado mixture on the bottom half of each roll. Top with the salmon, arugula, tomato and onion.

Enjoy!

mmmm food....

Looking good snag keep it up

Snagalicious, I made a delicious [...almost...] fat-free Sloppy Joe today in your honour; homemade sauce, of course!

200g 95% fat free ground chicken
1/2 cup Kraft fat-free cheese
1 whole-grain bagel
1/2 cup crushed San Marzano tomatoes
various spices.
Splenda (sweeten the sauce)

Freakin' delicious.

Gearing up for my sissy workout today (arms), will probably throw some abs in as well, and play some tennis following..yard mowing this afternoon, off day tomorrow.
This is the one day of the rotation I like least, and I thought about just splitting up the bi's with back day and tri's with bench day (or shoulder day), but doing them both on their own day gives me another day in the rotation to work with around all my other activity, and it's really been working out well, so I'll keep rolling with it..

Jack3d Beta Review
So as promised, checked out the fruit punch flav yesterday, and I give a thumbs up! Original lemon-lime flav was getting old (been using it for awhile), so it was a refreshing change of pace. Clean taste, not too strong, slightly artificial aftertaste but nothing drastic at all. Great energy in the workout, and followed with a long, hard tennis match -- I mean I was being run all over the court! (feeling that in my back a lil here this morning :nervous:)..took another 1 scoop before my baseball game last night, provided more than enough energy..got to bed after 11p, slept great.

Legs are lookn Priestly in that av brogies!

Got me too, salmon & avocado, yummm ! I would just ditch the mayo :p Personal preference :)

Yeah I agree..I did get a chance to make that, it was tasty! I used the mayo, but I could do without it. I'm thinking honey mustard would be amazing! (But I could eat honey mustard on about anything..)

Dude, you would anything that had Mustard on it, or in it... and that's scary!

I gotta mention too that I'm holding a bit of water from couple bars I had to eat..took my wife to a movie (Ghosts of Girfriends Past - she likes Matthew McConaughey) and the only thing I could sneak in were these bars, one 2:1 Protein Bar and one MucsleMilk Light (my wife's stuff)..those things always make me bloated for a day or so it seems.

Holding water...wish that's all I was holding. lol
Was down to 217lbs on a little precut...took a forced break and gained 13lbs in 3wks.:damnit:

Well on that note FOOF, you might wanna turn your head for this one..

Healthy snack of the nite:

Peanut Butter Protein Balls
1 scoop ProComplex Vanilla
1 scoop MonsterMilk Vanilla Creme
1 cup Quaker oats
4 TBS natty PowerButter PB
1 TBS EV coconut oil
1 TBS honey
1/4 cup water

rough macros: 1100cals, 100/85/40 C-P-F

EDIT: I think I made about 25 balls outta that batch, so about 45cals per ball.

Kind of like Thundergod's powerball recipe...wonder how he's doing.

Yeah kinda..I been making a variation on that recipe for 10yrs now. The EVCO is a new add tho, since I've developed an affinity to the natty PB/coconut oil combo lately for some of my fat intake..

Haven't seen TG for a long while..heard a rumor tho he just posted recently, so he's around.

Day #58 Legs

Something a lil different today..

5 sets leg extensions, ss w/
5 sets ATG close-stance squats
then..
5 sets lying leg curls, ss w/
5 sets SLDL
ended with..
4 sets standing calf raises (toes str/in/out/str)

:684:
Rest between superset sets was 75sec, so kept a pretty quick pace. I'll turn this into a giant set down the road (A1 ext, A2 squats, rest 30sec, B1 lying curls, B2 SLDL, rest 90sec, repeat), quite anxious for that! :)

75 seconds DFly?!?! and you're lumpin on Snags?

Hell, I'll take 5 minutes, creep on a few girls, go get a drink of water, think about peeing... check my blackberry... then go for set 2.
