Snag's New 'USPlabs Asteroid Armageddon Assault'

Speaking of lawns...I have been back since Saturday night and work already has me having to take care of 6 lawns from yesterday to today

{Fe} my parents plan to do something like that one day. Getting a huge plot of land out somewhere and having more privacy. Your deal sounds awesome.

It's a job to take care of, but well worth it, in my opinion. I promised myself 9-10 years ago when I was knee deep in sand that I would have lush, green grass with plenty of land to roam. Every bonus I received went into the Market and luckily, I made more money. So when my wife and I were at a point that we knew we were not moving any longer, we bought 50 acre's initially, and built our home. In the past several years, I've purchased the remaining 52.5 acres so that no one could buy it and build around me. I like privacy.
Dig it, very cool..I'm jealous! :envy:
I like to streak. :D
umm, not quite what I had in mind by 'clandestine activity', but okay.. :run:
You look as if you have Empire Zoysia, but I could be wrong. We don’t have Kentucky Blue-Grass down here, so I really can’t compare. They do look similar in blade thickness, though. It's nice, nonetheless, Snag!
Thx brother! :D You're probably right about EZ rather than KB, nice call..

Iron - beautiful lawn man... Makes me want to hop on a plane off this damn island.

Lawn care is up there with BBQ'n in manliness...

Day #42 Back Attack

Pressed for time this morning, had to get in here to GNC for my long day of the week..still busted out a decent session, lat's are flaring like a cobra! :fing02:
Order of the day: DB rows off inclined bench 5x15, wide-grip pulldowns to front 4x12, D-grip seated pulleys 3x12, flat-back deads 3x12..done in @33min, I was flying!

Speaking of eating..man, it was great to have some carbs today pre & postWO after the last 2 low-carb (grapefruit only) days. My original intent was to make this a fairly high carb day, then roll out something like a 20/50/30 macro spread, but alas the wind has changed direction again..
We'll save that plan for down the road. In the meantime, I'll run a 30/50/20 split. And fitting in perfectly with that is a shift to more liquid meals. I picked up 4 boxes of Labrada Lean Body MRP's (20 packs per box) for like $50, expiring in July..so, I hope I like this stuff! I'll be drinking the hell out of it for awhile, 2 a day.. Never had it before, but the ingredient profile looks fairly solid, and the macros are on point (that 30/50/20 split).

All right..deader than Hades up in GNC today, good time for some reviews..

PRODUCT X
As mentioned thruout this log, strength is the the topic to be discussed here. I don't believe I've ever used a product that has such impact on strength (this includes Prime..). Recently I set an all-time PR for 1-RM on flat bench, 4 wheels -- and I really think (scratch that, I know) I could've got more, but I had no spotter.. :nervous:
That's the positives in summation..there really was no other effects that I realized. No sexual boost (or decline for that matter), no alpha-male feelings, no increased energy/focus benefits..just pure strength in a bottle!
Negatives: went thru a period of lethargy in the early going, and tho I can't with certainty finger X for the cause, I do personally think it played a part if not all of the cause. Just like I had strength gains like I've never seen before, this lethargy was unlike anything I've ever experienced..
Just to put in perspective: let's compare to Prime, which is a great strength agent for me. While Prime doesn't quite compare with the strength boost, I thoroughly enjoy all the other benefits of this (focus, drive, alpha-male, recovery).
Just speaking in general here..but I really think a PRIME/PRODUCT X/AP/Creatine stack could be the end all from a natural strength, LBM, and recovery standpoint, usable for a wide range of age groups.. I am now stacking Prime into the mix, wish I could've run this earlier but wanted to isolate the X..

POWERFULL
Of course, for the 30+ crowd, let's add this into the mix.. love PowerFULL for recovery, improved sleep, and a synergistic reaction with my other chosen supps. I believe this particular supplement becomes more essential the older you get, as your natural GH levels slow and decline. Not saying that someone in the mid-20's wouldn't benefit by any means, and some guys have GH-production issues quite earlier in life than 30yrs old, but generally speaking I see this benefitting the older fellas more overall..

ANABOLIC PUMP
Uhh..should be the ground floor basis of every serious individual's plan, I like it that much. First product from USP I ever used, huge impact on a former keto-dieter!

RECREATE
Anyone who's ever seen my Recreate vid testimonial knows how I feel about this product.. IMO, best pure fat-burner on the market. Period. Wanna get shredded w/o muscle loss? AP+RC stack is serious stuff!

JACK3D
Incredibly impressive preWO supp. Effective, does what the name implies.. most impressive is how clean this stuff is; compared to others in it's category (not naming names here), there simply is no comparison..no malto..no magnesium..no artificial colors..nothing but pure active ingredients, and geranium is awesome! ;)

SUPERCISSUS RX
One of my fav products..the older I get, the more I need this stuff! Just upped this dosage to 8 daily to combat some soreness I've had from training like a madman as well as playing baseball, tennis, and pick-up basketball..

PSLIN
And bringing up the rear.. the under-appreciated Pslin.
Love this one too, and has really allowed me to expand my ideas on pre & postWO nutrition intake..this is an awesome glucose regulator.

What a lineup!!

I just want to comment now that I have started using AP I am kicking myself it the azz for never trying it up untill now. How key is this supp!! Body comp mantenance in a pill!!

Man I hope Product X comes in soon, yep I am thinking Prime/ProductX/AP/Pslin/Powerfull...

These supps are beyond ground breaking... for those reading this post, don't let the negative hype fool you ... that's what kept me from using AP for years.

Yeah when the rain is flowing, things look pretty decent..otherwise, in the summer, you need to run the sprinklers half the day to keep things green..

^^^..but then again, things could always be worse!

You ain't lying dude..land out there is off the chain. Everything's expensive out your way. Hawaii is even worse!

Yeah, parts of Hawaii can give New York City a run for it's money, as far as property value.

The HOA has an outfit come out & mow the common area weekly, but with all the rain we've had they haven't been out in a couple weeks.. Gonna have to get on 'em if they don't rectify that situation soon! :D
Damn, the HOA must be reading my thread.. :ntome:
Looks better out there now..good night for a cookout!
:wave2:

It appears that someone got mustard on your steak...:nervous:

I love mushrooms..tell ya what tho, last night they shoulda called those Shitake 'shrooms
some Takeshit 'shrooms instead.. talk about some cleaning out of the digestive tract, sheeesh.. :dump:
I guess it's all good tho, cuz body comp seriously morphed overnight: new cuts all over the place, looking solid as hell, and weight upon rising actually went up from 198.1 to 198.7..putting the carbs back in the diet played a big role. I like the beef & grapefruit gig, it just hardens ya up hugely; just don't do it with AP! :wave2: I learned that the hard way last yr.
In other news, the rain has begun again, now in the forecast for the next 5 days or something..just in time to interfere w/ my baseball tonight. :(
I'll take out my aggression here in a bit with some weights..
And on the sports front: Roger Clemens still continues to deny his steroid/HGH use..are you kidding me? :bsflag: Perfect example of why I'll never attend a ML baseball game again. Fukcing pathetic..

Indeed, Snag.
I would rather gather some friends up and go play a game myself. F*ck those over-paid juicer's! On a side note: Go Cubs! :D

They're everywhere, man - EVERYWHERE!
I emailed the President of your HOA and told him that you were going to crush him if he didn't get on his game... worked well!

Most definitely..I'll be playing baseball till I die..or develop disabling arthritis, whichever comes first..love the game, grew up obsessed with the sport, but these multimillionaire crybaby lying bastards have killed my love for the MBL aspect. :hitwithrock:
On a side note: Go Cubs! :D
:lmao:
And I gotta say, I do still like to see the Tigers & Braves win! :biglaugh:

HOOAH! to the HOA man! :usa1:

I am very disappointed...I missed the food pic

With that said it looks pretty good to me

O and on the MLB, it really just irritates me how things have gone lately. O well :sigh:

Really tho, my weight fluctuates like that when I control my macros & shift them like I do..that's just normal for me. I can go down just as much too..try not to tho these days.

Day #43 Arms Ahoy

Close-grip bench, V-bar tri pushdowns, dips, DB kickbacks, EZ-bar curls, preacher DB curls, concentration curls, ab work.
Pic from this morning..

I hear ya there - my weight can fluctuate by a couple of pounds from day to day depending on carb intake, water intake, etc...

exactly, altho for me the water intake doesn't vary too much, I'm usually @1.5 gallons if not a bit more daily, unless it's show week or something.
I enjoy my hydration!

What do you mean by this snag? Does it work incorrectly?

What do you mean by this snag? Does it work incorrectly?
Yeah, flattened me out bigtime..I push low-carbs sometimes w/ AP, as low as 20g if I need to for cutting, but --
#1 grapefruit alone isn't the right carb source to do this with, and
#2 each 1/2 grapefruit I was eating was @15g max worth of carbs.
You don't need AP for the beef & grapefruit to do it's thing.

Beef and grapefruit sounds intriguing...

Not so much really .... :684: :nervous:

What's the theory behind this. I mean why would one eat it unless there were some extra benefit.

I'm not advocating it, simply saying it works for me..
It is first and foremost a weight-loss plan, but if one tweaks their macro intake before & after the protocol you can pull off some freaky results.
It's something I first discovered in my 'Peak Week' to my first show.

Some basic concepts to the idea:
One of those mysterious urban dieting legends, the grapefruit diet has been around since about the 1930s. And while no one claims responsibility for its invention, the weight-loss strategy continues to attract legions of fans who usually pass along the details by word of mouth. Interested people will find it tricky to nail down a specific plan as there are a host of versions now circulating online, each with its own set of menus and food lists. And a new book called The Grapefruit Solution (Linx, 2004) takes yet another approach. The one common theme throughout these plans: Dieters eat grapefruit, drink grapefruit juice, or swallow grapefruit capsules at or before every meal.
The theory goes that grapefruit contains a special enzyme that burns fat. No one has explained exactly how this works, or if it holds true for other citrus fruits such as oranges and lemons, but that’s the premise. Most of the grapefruit plans call for specific menus that dieters must follow to the letter.
Grapefruit is chock-full of vitamin C, fiber, and small amounts of other nutrients and disease-fighting chemicals-so there’s no doubt that it’s a great food choice. But touting it as a magic fat burner is premature. Would that it were so easy to melt fat away and keep it off by eating one single food. Of course, that hasn’t stopped thousands of dieters from signing up for the plan over the last 70 or so years.
As stated, there's lots of different versions of this out there, but I've not run across the version I do anywhere except from the dude who taught it to me.
I use it maybe once a yr now, just for something different. But, if you do a quick rundown on the macros (roughly 15/45/40 C/P/F) and you understand the kind of impact that particular spread can have, you can see where this can make an impact.

Been neglecting to update the wheels, so here goes..
I know, I need to bust out the trimmer & mow the lawn. :D

Trying these Shitake 'shrooms again tonight.. :nervous:
Only getting in 6 meals today so things are a bit skewed.

4oz lean beef
1 whole egg+4 whites
8oz mushrooms
1 piece Ezekiel
4oz salad w/ tomatoes
2 TBS olive oil vinaigrette

If you guys who've followed along for awhile haven't figured it out by now, my next to last meal of the day almost always includes some beef & a salad.

Day #44 OFF DAY

Had some serious storms move thru last night, woke me up repeatedly (power went off multiple times)..check out this pic of the common area this morning. Now, this was designed in part to catch the overflow just like it does, but in the 5yrs I've been living here this is probably the most accumulation I've seen..this all dissipates in less than a day if the rain doesn't keep falling.

They must have some special grass out there...
Some thirsty grass!

You can't see it, but there's drainage ports in the side of the hill out there, and a little creek (and I mean little!) that flows across the field..that's why all the water backs up out there w/ the overflow.

Been neglecting to update the wheels, so here goes..
I know, I need to bust out the trimmer & mow the lawn. :D

Your legs will never really have to bet any bigger than that... more than enough size in every aspect.

Thanks DW, appreciate that! I have to work so hard to keep these dudes up! :684:

Speaking from a So Cal point of view. Laker fans riot when we win and Dodger fans have an apptitude toward random shankings, and again, win or lose.

However, my girl is an avid Dodger fan, runs in their family tradition and she wants me to go with her to the next Dodger/Giants game. I would honestly reconsider attending Dodger stadium as a Giants fan. I've seen grown men throw beer on teenage kids for wearing neutral teams.

P.S.

If a person walks onto Dodger territory wearing the opposing teams shirt and gets beer thrown on him, the security guards come and remove the person who got beer tossed on him. I think the security philosophy is, piss off one person/one family, or a crowd of drunk SA's. Take the one person out...

Day #45 CHEST

Short on time this morning, planned for a quick workout anyway due to playing tennis afterwards and a baseball game later tonight (weather permitting)..
5 sets incline BB bench, 4 sets decline BB, 3 sets chest-focused explosive dips. Great pump, solid session.

On the supp front, received another bottle of Product X from USP, :thanks:
so..I'll be able to check out the Prime/X synergy after all!

The madness continues..
