Well it's a good thing you aren't trying to bulk with all that going on.

Sounds like you have a solid plan for moving forward. Adjust on the fly, and when you know you are in the hole you put the shovel down before you get too deep to climb back out.

Yep, they actually let me out early today. I got home like 30min ago, had a big chicken and rice meal, I'm gonna take a nice long nap and hit the gym later when I'm fresh.

Ok, so this workout is going to sound crazy but it was all very half paced. I'm gasing out quick but I can truck along at half steam endlessly.

Shadow boxing 3 rounds
Heavy bag 3 rounds

One on one with trainer. 30min

Deadlifts 135x10, 225x5,5 I stopped. My lower back was so pumped I couldn't do it. The pump came on while I was working with the trainer ducking and slipping punches.

Weighted chins 10, 45x5,5,8
Rowing machine 3x2min
Hammer curls 25x15, 40x12,12

Was heading home and got asked to spar so I suited back up lol

Boxing 3x3min rounds
Kickboxing 2x3min rounds

I'm not a kick boxer but I've trained it enough to spar with some of the newer guys. So I can kinda fake it enough to look "ok"

Done. 2hrs and 28min

Only 2 1/2 hours? Why'd ya cut it short? Lol

Good work man, glad you got a good opportunity to get some work in and sounds like you made the most of it!

Notes.

No side effects from the product that I would say are bad.

I seem to be getting lower back pumps the past few times I did anything that involves legs or lower back. I can't say for certain it's from the product.

Despite only being on half my trt dose, and working crazy, I feel like energy is pretty good and motivation is good.

I also seem bloated the past few days but only in my face and midsection. Arms and shoulders and even legs look lean and vascular but my stomach and face seem like I'm holding water.

I'm wondering if because ara causes inflammation this could be happening? Or it very well could be stress and lack of sleep.

Sleeping straight through the night but because I've had to get up so early the past few days I'm running on 5 hours tops each night.

Also @LeanEngineer @Afi140
I haven't had much time to research but would there be any cons to running this product at double dose? I would finish the bottle per label but in the meantime grab a second bottle and do 2 extra weeks double dose.

Was just a thought.

Ya I gotta take advantage when I can during the week and on the weekends when I have free time I'm do more bodybuilding style stuff. I was thinking about what everyone was saying and my thoughts based on the advice of the guys here is this.

If I train everything bodybuilding style over the weekend, I can do my boxing and give some extra attention where needed during the week.

I would say my only concern would be the higher dosage of Arachidonic Acid and if your joints would be too achy with that higher dosage but you could always start with 1.5x dosage and then go to 2x if feeling good.

Did what I would call a bodybuilding push workout. I've only been doing one or two exercises for chest lately so I really added some variety here and got a good pump. By the time I got to triceps everything was already pumped up and hard to do. I tried taking some pictures after my workout and it was too hard to flex lol.

Something I forgot to mention but I got a nosebleed the last 3 days in a row at work.

I am working in a Dusty pit so that very well could have something to do with it, I'm also driving for an hour and a half with the air conditioner on and then hopping out into the heat.
I haven't been checking my blood pressure lately but I highly doubt it's jacked up but I'm going to check tonight and tomorrow morning just to be safe.

Definitely not blaming that on the product I do get nose bleeds from time to time, and I'm not talking about on gear I'm talking about throughout my entire life I've had issues with nosebleeds.

The funny thing is I've never gotten a nosebleed during a fight, at least not a bad one. Maybe a little drop here or there.

But the random nosebleeds I get poor like a waterfall. Then I'll usually hack up a big gunky blood clot looking thing and once I hack that up and spit it out the nosebleed stops completely.

Again that's something I've dealt with my entire life and never understood it lol

My dad used to bring that up to the doctors all the time when I was a kid and they had no answer for it

By the way I did use the fix lighting feature on my phone on these pictures, one of the light bulbs in the bathroom where I took the pictures was out and it was casting shadows oddly and my phone has a fixed lighting feature that brightens things up. I don't want anyone to think I'm trying to doctor up my photos so if anyone wants to see the pictures that do not have the fixed lighting feature I saved them in my phone lol

I'm gonna weigh myself tomorrow morning and I'm going to attempt to cut way back on carbs over the weekend. I was in a rush packing today for work and I didn't have any chicken breast cooked and I didn't want to bring pork chops or eggs because I would have had to eat them cold, so I had like four peanut butter and jelly on protein bread sandwiches, watermelon, apples clementines, a protein bar, Greek yogurt and like 4 coffees made with milk.

Basically I ate like a 9 year old all day

You’re still a beast regardless of the lighting. Keep up the great progress.

Forgot to post this this morning.

Weight was 194.7 and still a little bloated looking. I got a feeling after I drop a little fluid today and tomorrow il ba about 190-191.

Breakfast I made ham and eggs with tomatoes, basil and mozzarella cheese and topped it with salsa and green onions. Was fukin 🔥🔥🔥Invalid Link Removed
Then I had a couple coffees while I ran errands,
Lunch was chicken breast on some high fiber pita breads and some yogurt.

Carbs are at 30gm total so far and if I make it to the gym tonight il probably have some rice with dinner. If I don't workout then only whatever trace carbs are in my vegetables at dinner

Decided I was doing only 3-4 meals today and I've already taken a mid day nap. I'm focusing on relaxation and catching up on sleep. I got a painting side job tomorrow and back to the new job Monday so today's my only day off.

BP was 138/88 this morning but then I realized the cuff was screwed up and I had to throw it out, so I don't think it was a correct reading. I also read that the home BP machines are only good for 2-4 years and mine is 10 years old so who knows lol. Going to get a new cuff tomorrow morning or maybe tonight.

Hit the gym, wasn't prepared for it tho. I thought doing a bunch of compounds in the smith would make it doable but hell no, by the time I finished squats I realized I was going to have to cut back on a few sets or I wouldn't make it through the workout.

Could be to much overall work or it could also be because I'm still a little burnt from my week.

Anyway. At least I hit everything over the past 2 days. Now during the week I can do some specific training for weak points and I think I'm gonna start working on my weighted pull ups again. Despite being zapped I still feel pretty strong on all my lifts.

Even though you had to pull back a little because you felt zapped, you still got in plenty of work this week. Now at least you have a better idea of where your at with your new job and workout volume and where that threshold is before feeling burned out.
I think it’s funny when you say your a little bloated…….every time I see your pictures you look shredded. We’re our on worst critics.

It's not that I think I'm bloated like I'm fat. I just can tell I appear to be holding water or that something looks off. Mainly my stomach and face. Hard to explain it.

You may have been right. I just looked do a bunch of pictures of my face and it's not bloated I think what I'm seeing is my eyes have a little bit of bags underneath them from being overtired and not sleeping as much.

I measured my waist and it's actually a hair smaller then it was 2 weeks ago and bodyweight is exactly the same. Give or take 0.2lbs

Maybe I should stop worrying so much and just eat more. As long as I stay under 200,lbs I'm going to be in range for the next cut. The extra calories and a little more effort to get a extra hour sleep is probably more beneficial at the moment

It probably would do you good to get in a few extra calories, especially as hot as it’s been lately. And extra rest always helps.
Years ago when I would have to do a weigh in I found it worked better for me to just stay within striking distance of my final weight, about
10-15lbs, and then shed the last little bit the final 10-15 days. I usually started at about 12 weeks up 25lbs and would start a gradual cut to that las 10-15, and was able to maintain my strength to arm wrestle. One time I decided to just stay lean the whole time, within 5 lbs., for the next competition. I just couldn’t attain and maintain the strength I needed staying that weight. My body just didn’t respond as well maintaining such low calories.
I know you do the first technique of starting
20-30lbs heavier and cut down to within 10-15lbs. range. Since you had already done that for that first fight and then had to readjust, I bet your body is just trying to signal for more calories after being in a deficit longer than you anticipated, and your putting more demand on it with the extra training and work.

Probably right, even right now I'm pretty lean and I'm 16lbs over the weight class lol.

It's like everything I do is permanent Auto regulation it's almost impossible for me to stick to one game plan.

I'm almost tempted to ask them to find me a short heavyweight, there's gotta be a few guys between 5'10-6'1

I could get a catch weight at 185 or something and then work back up to 210-215 and just suck it up and fight a heavyweight lol

Probably would feel better and have a speed advantage.

Food looks good! That's the best way to do it is make a bunch on the weekends and then have it all ready for you during the week!

Yeah I always try to cook up enough food on Saturday or Sunday to make it through the majority of the week. By Wednesday or Thursday I start running low but by that point I usually have enough dinner leftovers to steal the meat from to make it till Saturday again LOL

I got some down time at work so just planning out the rest of my day.

Hopefully

Stop at the gym after work and do some flat bench, incline close grip bench and a pressdown variation. Then ride over to the boxing gym and get a hour in on the bags and do some drills and bodyweight stuff like push-up, sit ups and some abs

Well, got everything done, 4 meals in and I need to go eat #5 and get to bed. After I finish laundry and prep for tomorrow lol. Hopefully I can squeeze 6 hours of sleep in tonight 😆

No spot either. I was only going to do 315 for a single on bench and it went up easy so I just kept going squeezed out three and I felt like I could have did five if I had a spot.

It was actually kinda cool only being in the regular gym for 30min. Because I knew I only had to do a few exercises and go I think mentally I turned it up and knew I could put a lot more effort into it. When I do four or five exercises for a body part I think subconsciously I hold back so that I don't burn out.

Might be on to something here lol

Also confession time, I woke up in the middle of the night and ate an entire box of s'mores Pop-Tarts and almost a half a gallon of milk.

🤷

Oh, I used elbow sleeves on bench. Don't know if anyone cares but I think it makes it slightly easier not worrying about my elbows

With my wife and I we usually will go out to eat once a week on Saturday, then cook on Sunday to get us to Wednesday midday, then cook again Wednesday night to get us to Saturday mid day Works for us !

That's the smart way to do it, before I was working this job I was cooking on the weekend and then cooking again on Wednesday and getting myself through the week like that. Now I just don't have as much time after work so I make sure the nights that I'm cooking dinner I'm making a little bit of extra food so there's going to be leftovers to pick from as the week goes on.

So if I'm not mistaken yesterday made 2 weeks, so I should be at the halfway point right now.

What I've noticed so far is that this product has a positive effect on body composition. There's a cosmetic effect for certain. What I'm doing my workouts and getting a good pump going everything seems to be popping out and vascularity is up very similar to the cosmetic effect provided by Oral steroids on a cycle. Is it as large of a degree, no.... but it's definitely noticeable! All I got to do is take one look in the mirror after a workout or stand in front of a mirror while I'm doing a couple sets and I can see everything's popping out and I've had people make comments and someone ask me if I went back on a cycle.

I also noticed yesterday that strength is up.

While 315x3 is not a PR for me, in the past when I was using 315x6 or 325x3 ect, I was about 220lbs.

So @195lbs I'd say strength is up a lot, especially from where my cut ended.

If I'm not mistaken 2 weeks before I ended my diet for the boxing match that never happened LOL I went to do a set with 250lbs assuming I'd get 6-8 still and 3 was a struggle.

I'm thinking with a little more food and a spotter il get 315x6 in 2 weeks from now and that would be a all time best for my bodyweight if I stay under 200lbs.

I was 195.6 this morning

Good stuff @Smont Congrats at the PR at bodyweight!

Half a gallon of milk? Bro that doesn’t even sound good
If it was cold enough it sounds excellent to me!!! I can slam a quart of nice and cold milk like it is nothing.

When I binge on junk food in the forms of Pop-Tarts cookies and stuff like that I always basically turn it into a giant bowl of cereal so I can eat as much of it as fast as possible 😂😂😂

How funny you said that, I was thinking I more than likely would have dipped the pop tarts in the milk if I were you!!!!

How funny you said that, I was thinking I more than likely would have dipped the pop tarts in the milk if I were you!!!!
I opened up a bunch of packages of s'mores Pop-Tarts, broke each Pop-Tart into about six smaller pieces and then threw them all in a bowl fill it up with milk and eat it like cereal.

When my victim is Oreos I fill up a bowl with milk and I eat a whole row three Oreos go in soon as they're soggy I eat them three more Oreos go in. Sorry for the lack of punctuation I'm driving on the highway using talk to text these douchebags kept me an hour and a half late today dragon hoses and loading 100 lb bags of cement so it's safe to say I'll be skipping the gym today.

On that note tomorrow I'm going to probably do my weight lifting at the boxing gym. I'm thinking about going in and starting off with some weighted Pull-Ups followed by barbell curls. I'll probably spend about 30 minutes doing actual boxing stuff and then I'm going to finish off that workout with something very demanding like moderate to high rep deadlifts or power cleans. I know Hyde's probably going to yell at me for doing dangerous exercises for High reps while I'm tired lol.

But can we take a vote do I finish the day with deadlifts or power cleans, maybe I hang clean instead. I basically just want to do something explosive for conditioning that has some strength carry over at the end of my workout I could always do trap bar deadlifts instead of traditional deadlifts to take the strain off the lower back.

I must of missed a couple days….your bench numbers are looking really good considering you’ve been on a cut for so long, or at least maintaining your cut. I love power cleans for explosiveness, and trap bar deadlifts have replaced standard deadlifts for me. The hex trap bar I use has handles as low as a standard bar, so it’s the same pull distance, but so much better on the back being able to lift straight up, and I like to throw a few shrugs in there for good measure.

Job got moved to a new location, it's only 1 hr drive instead of 1.5 hours. I

Ya, bench press has gone up like 65lbs in a few weeks since going back to eating "normal"

I was probably severely overtrained from a CNS point twords the tail end as well.

But @jgntyce has said he's getting a lot of strength increases too so that could also be playing a role in why strength is coming back so fast

Not sure why my last post started with that one and a half hours thing about the job location being moved that was from a whole another thread lol

But my job location did get moved it's only an hour ride now. It's going to change all the time though so now I have an hour ride to work and an hour ride home so it looks like I'll have an extra hour in the day.

I know when I took X gels, I was impressed with ARA’s effect on strength, in just over a month too. And that was with battling arthritis issues.
Definitely something I recommend for someone to try if they don’t have joint issues.

Good to know, il be doing further experimenting with ara in the form of this product. I'm not a huge believer in many natty ingredients, but the improved strength and body composition seems to be noticeable more and more as I go along. I got to assume the seven keto and androsterone is the body composition and ara the strength

Hey man I know lots of people do CrossFit after working physical jobs, whatever you’re into

Androsterone is what is making you stronger, unquestionably. This why it doesn’t build any size: it’s primarily androgenic, not anabolic.

Ahhh I forgot androsterone is similar to epiandro
