Spot on DW. When I started the log I was already at 8.5- 9% or so, and yeh I haven't lost one rep on one exercise and measurements are the same everywhere except my waist. Actually my arms even increased a tad so it is a great recomp/cut
 
Well....I still don't think I'm much under 7%, if at all. The lighting is helping a lot with bringing the definition out. When I see pics of some people at 6% there are things I don't see on myself like prominent veins coming up my ABS along with more striations coming through.

Wherever I'm at, 6% is my goal and i don't want to go lower than that so I will be slowing down a bit but I am going to capitalize on having the SARMS ability to preserve muscle a little longer and drop another 1 to 2 lbs of fat over the next 3 weeks or so. After that it will be more of a maintaining bodyfat while adding muscle slowly

And there you have it -- the perfect plan.

I wish more people had this mindset. I know it's easy to gain bodyfat and lose some definition while adding mass, but I think people (particularly on cycle) are way too worried about adding 20 lbs and doing it fast. Even if 15 is muscle, 5 is fat that you have to worry about. The more research I do in medical literature, the more the rollercoaster of cutting and bulking that so many people do just stands out as a horrible idea that presents way too many potential problems.

As soon as I have my issue resolved, I'll be cutting like a madman and once I hit the point at single digit bf% that I want, I will be doing the exact same thing as you. I won't plan on adding more than 2lbs of mass per month; even on cycle.

Exactly right beast. Slow and steady is the way to go. I will never do a big cut again if I can help it. Single digit bodyfat year round for me. Another 10-15 lbs of LBM is all I really want total anyways. I think 180 @ 6% would look damn good on me!

You look fabulous. Totally Homo... LOL No really you are looking great Rick. You have come a long way and look amazing. I plan to get down as lean as you are right now over the next 3-4 months. I definitely need my abs back for sure. Do you have any plans to slow down on arm work and let your trunk catch up with the massive shoulders and guns? If you want to compete I would think about it just to get more symmetry but you look awesome regardless.

Yeh Chris, I definitely have some choices to make on what I want to do with my future. I really do want to try out competing at some point and want to make a good impression when I do. If I were prepping for a contest right now I'm guessing my contest weight would be somewhere around 160-162 or so. I think I need another good 10 lbs of LBM or so at least to be a good competitor. So....I should probably try to put most of that into my quads and chest and even a little more into the back. That would round me out well I think and give me a decent condition to put on stage. Maybe another year or so and i will be there ;)

Time to start laying off the arm work as much and hitting the legs and chest harder!!

Yea .... PCT just ended pretty much... but still feeling not recovered. I think I will hold off cutting for another 4 weeks. Try to get things stabilized.

Lets see some more chest and leg size this year :D

I wouldnt start cutting that close to PCT bro... your body will want to dispose of that "unnecessary" new muscle mass you just earned.

It takes more energy to sustain muscle then to just burn it off as fat, so if your body isnt used to having it and you go into a caloric deficit too soon it will just as easily dispose of muscle as it will fat....

Just hold off, recomp for a bit to solidify those gains then cut nice and slow.

Cardio and burn today....little to no carbs today. I'm guessing I will stay under 30-40g for the day.

Cardio this morning was 15 minutes of HIIT elliptical followed by 15 minutes jogging at 7.5 MPH (total burn 410 Cal's)

This afternoon will be about 45 minutes of incline treadmill.


I added a couple things in today to help the recomp along a little more. I added some Shift and Ursobolic, and will soon be adding some raspberry ketones when they get here. (I'm doing a sponsored log for AI sports of Agmatime and raspberry ketones) Those additions may give a little help here in these last 3-4 weeks of the home stretch ;)

The Avi looks good but I you placed your hands high on your hips you would show more shoulder width and get a similar effect. I am not tanned here but you can see how it squares the shoulders. You can play with the hand placement untill you get what you want. I can't really bear down on my abs as I have loose skin so I have to remain upright. You could get away with it though. One of the many pleasures of being over 50 the skin just doesn't bounce back the way it used to.

Thanks for the tip DW. My posing probably sucks for the most part, but I don't have the experience in it obviously like you do. Its something I want to continue to work on, because I do want to compete when I feel I'm ready. Hopefully in another year or so I will be :fingersx:

That was in August at my gym.. I love that look for the summer... Yah posing is tough, youtube has some good posing tips and tricks. Yah I know you're not up on posing yet, I just wanted to show you a pose where it's a lot like your Avi but you will get the wider shoulder look.
 
Today was an incredible experience in the gym. I woke up this morning from yesterdays burn and under 40g carbs to a very big, full, and ripped 165. I mean I was very impressed with my look this morning.....then came the gym....

I had some MAD vascularity going on. I have never been this big, and definitely never been this lean. My chest is getting very striated and the cuts in my ABS are getting deeper. My skin seems like it is getting thinner too. I looked awesome in the gym and had the stares coming from everywhere. Honestly it was obvious I had many in awe. It was a great feeling I must say!! I know i keep saying this, but I could take pictures again right now and it would show some nice differences. I have no doubt that my next pics will be noticeably improved upon the last ones.

Performance wise I did very well. Strength was good and endurance was way up too. A couple lifts I saw an extra rep or two.

Sides from S4 have leveled off to almost nil. It still takes longer for the eyes to adjust going from dark to light and vice versa, but it is not noticeable at all in the first couple days of the week, and barely there come day 4 or 5. Then it clears up to nothing during my 2 days off of s4 on the weekend.

Yea posing is hard. I mean, if I can look like a slob in one pose then look pretty damn big and full looking in another I can see how a small thing like hand position or a small turn can make a HUGE difference lol.

Yeh man, I just wish it was possible to walk around looking big, pumped, and vascular all the time. It messes with your head a lot. In the morning I'm at the gym saying to myself "damn you are huge and ripped", then later that night when I'm relaxing and getting ready for bed with no pump and the veins in hibernation for the most part I say to myself "WTF happened to that guy from this morning? I look like sh1t now!".....fockin mind games....gotta love em! :laugh:

haha I completely understand that. When Im about to sleep my body is relaxed and I dont feel dense like I did earlier in the day and it is very sad lol

Thats why going above 10% bf is really bad.. At night I look like hell... but in the morning it's pretty good lol. Bearable. For now anyway.

I know exactly what you mean! It is reverse for me bc I workout at night. I get into the gym and I'm like "woah, fat fock entering the gym". By my 2nd circuit I'm starting to growl and look like an animal! I wish it could be like that all the time.....

Just carry a 35lb DB around in the brief case. Pump whenever you need to look huge :)

Trust me, even at a low bodyfat you will be disappointed in yourself in the mirror at times. When you lose and fullness, lose any vacularity, or are holding any water it will piss you off. But....as they say, we are our own worst critics. Where others may think you look incredible, we can pick out our flaws and see things others dont ;)

Yeh, I can relate to the 35 lb thing...My 4 yr. old daughter likes to hang on me and play around when I get off work. We get to playing around and before you know it I've got a pump going and the veins poppin', and she weighs 37 or so lbs....guess I could just carry her around all day...lol

Yeh bro....vision issues have been barely noticeable using that dosing....and I'm even at a higher dose of around 75mg per day too
Bilberry/wLutein helped with the vision sides when i ran S4 every day. So what exactly are your doses of Osta and S4 at now? Im finishing up my pct with Osta and still have a few bottles of S4. I was thinking about copying you to finish of my recomp.

In my honest opinion this stack is incredible for recomp. Im having nearly identical results as when I ran Helladrol/Trenazone for recomp and that was a methylated steroid cycle....so for the future this is more than likely the route I will take when either recomping or cutting and save the methyls for lean bulks ;)

I think you would enjoy it bro ;)

Again this is saying a lot for your SARMS source... I did not get these kinds for results using the cheaper alternative.
 
Well, everything is going incredible. After carbing up a bit yesterday, my weight has come back up as expected to 167, but I was looking very ripped with the fullness this morning. Muscle hardness is through the roof as well and a very nice feeling. Veascularity is off the frickin chain and I'm starting to get what I would call the "stage look" when I have a big pump. Veins are spidering all over the place. A lot of them are faint, but noticeable.

I tried out my new digital calipers for the first time, and it looks like I may have been measuring myself at a higher bodyfat than actual with my old cheap calipers. After a few 3 point skinfold tests, I came up with a range of as low as 6.2% up to but no higher than 7%, so average puts me somewhere around 6.6-6.7%! I will take that! Sounds good to me! I'm still shooting for 6% or real close to it, so dropping roughly a half percent in another 2-3 weeks is what I'm aiming for. Should be just a pound of fat or less.

I'm completely amazed at how great these SARMS have been for recomp. I will probably repeat this exact layout at least once a year, if not a couple times. I've already exceeded all my expectations, and I'm still not done yet!

Workout went well. I set a couple minor PRs, but mostly kept weight and reps the same, but everything felt lighter than normal so some strength is coming, though not huge. With a bigger caloric intake I'm sure I would get much more, but that isn't the goal here so I honestly don't care about gaining strength as much as I do maintaining it.

Ok, im keeping it low at 15mgs while im in pct, then i was going to jump up to 25mg, but the osta is absolutely helping me keep my strength, as im still in a calorie deficit. I agree with the methyls being reserved for lean bulks.

WOW! I think I may have to take this route. I have to use a good source though.. Im not running anything from a tried and tested source ever again.
