PCT DAY 22

Things are continuing to get even better as I enter this final week of PCT and I think at the rate my body composition is changing, I could be looking pretty decent at the end of PCT.

My vascularity was off the chain this morning, and ab definition seemed improved. Leaning effects are apparent and weight is holding now around 173. Strength is still climbing in some exercises also. Squats were a breeze today, and 225 seemed light as hell. I hit a PR of 275x8 and i through up 80 lb DBs on shoulder presses like they were nothing. Can't complain at all here guys. Ostarine anyone?!

I don't think it matters which way or when you dose it. Empty stomach or food...doesn't matter. I personally take my dose upon waking in the early AM without food. I do take a couple caps of fish oil with it along with my preworkout BCAAs. It has around a 24 hour half life so the one dose sets you for the day ;)

Ah so it's a longer lasting compound. I read s4 was like 4-6 hours. Good to know that ostarine is much longer. I'm gonna dose mine in the AM as well ;)
 
PCT DAY 23 & 24

Yesterday was a burn day and decided to do some cardio. Went in for a 45 minutes session of 30 minutes treadmill walking (3.5 MPH @ 15% incline) and 15 minutes HIIT on elliptical for a 570 Cal burn between them.

My weight has came down even more and I'm actually at 171.5 this morning. I have somewhat mixed feelings about a little more weight drop. I looked pretty damn lean this morning, so I'm very happy about that but I definitely want to keep the weight from going down too much. Leaning in PCT is not what I was trying to do exactly. I've been pretty low Carb for 2 days now so I'm sure I'm pretty depleted between that and cardio and has dried me out a lot. I will be adding in some more carbs for a Workout day tomorrow and I will see if the weight comes back up. But for the record, I look better now so its hard to complain.

Good luck with the injury bro! Make sure you rest it and dont further hurt yourself, don't want a minor injury to become a major one! Cheer's to a fast recovery!
 
Bro I'll keep that shoulder in my thoughts and prayers. I just went today for my MRI on right shoulder. I just got close to 275 on flat and I knew I'd been having pain. It got worse and pops every movement. So I just hope yours isn't anything major.

Dang sorry to hear about the injury! I hope you can train around it :D.

How's the Clomid treating you in PCT? Notice anything different from when you run PCT with Nolva?

You actually have it in reverse as far as the SERM goes. I'm running Nolva now and did clomid last cycle. I actually think Nolva treats me better. I know more people think the opposite, but this is the best PCT I've had by far yet. Zero loss of muscle and strength and looking better at the end of PCT than on cycle!!

A friend of mine said that nolva really makes him lean. He said he likes it. Mean that you have had zero loss of anything this PCT. weight is down a bit though, but that's probably because you are just burning up all those calories you eat to feed those hungry huge muscles!

Hopefully, it's a tricky time though you really have to watch it. It doesn't stop there either, it's a real fire fight during bridge time as well. I look at my August pics and my contest pics and I see a lot of loss and I was so fuggin careful. I am down 2% body fat tops, I think even less. One of the problems I ran into is my body handles nutrition so differently when I go off cycle, it's hard to get a fix on. You want to keep your mass but you don't want to gain fat as your metabolism tends to be slower after cycle especially post PCT. Some sort of tapering should be used I guess. I just sort of reacted as things changed which was not optimal. It's a good thing I had a lot of time to make adjustments.

Today is cardio/burn day. I kept cardio to a lower intensity today between elliptical and incline treadmill (3 mph @ 15%) for a 370 Cal burn in 30 minutes. HR was kept around 140. Today's diet will be low Carb (<75g) and probably around 2k Cal's.

Yesterday I filled up pretty good on carbs and the weight came back up as expected. I actually looked great in the mirror last night. Very big and full compared to normal. So its nice knowing that weight drop was a temporary thing and just from being low Carb.

I will be switching things up pretty soon as this PCT winds down. Mainly my training will be changed. I need to find out what type of training I want to go to for the recomp I have coming, and something that won't be too bad on the shoulder. I'm considering going back to a full body routine like the warrior workout again. Weights are going to go back to 3x per week, so I will be dropping a build day and adding a burn day. It will still probably be a couple weeks before I make all those changes, but I'm just trying to get my plan together for now. ;)

LAST DAY OF PCT

Well, Ive reached the end of PCT fellas, and I'm pretty happy with my results for the most part. I've added a good amount of strength and some LBM in the process. I'm guessing I added about 5 lbs of muscle and 1-2 lbs of fat during this run since today I am 171 (up 6 lbs from start of cycle to end of PCT) I probably could have got more if i went all out bulk, but I wanted it lean so I can't complain.

My strength climbed during PCT which was very nice, and I successfully held onto the muscle gained with the help of Ostarine. That brings me to my next change I'm making....

I was planning on starting a recomp with a stack of Ostarine and S4 in a month, but I think I'm starting it next week...lol. why wait? I'm already on Ostarine so i will just increase that dosage on Monday and add in the S4 and Formastanozol along with quite a bit more cardio. My diet isnt going to change much from what it has been, but I'm dropping a workout day for a cardio day....and I probably won't have a rest day....so 3 days of weights and 4 days of cardio. I will have a log up and more details this weekend. I plan to get pretty ripped by the end and hopefully a little LBM and strength in the process....stay tuned guys!! I will put a link up in here too when i get it up!

I will also get final pics up here sometime soon too ;)

Yes for me it shut me down, not hard but definitely shut me down. I used it stand alone by itself and not as part of a PCT so the changes were noticeable. I had less motivation sex drive cratered around week 2 of a higher dose at 25mg, at 15 not as bad.

You sure it is the Nolva, didn't you increase your dose of Osta from 6-12 this PCT? I may have that backwards I can't remember. Science shows Clomid to be more effective but everyone does respond differently. I am using it now to bring my levels up. Good news is it seems to be working!!!

Yeh the Ostarine probably is the main reason. When I posted that I completely forgot about using a low dose of Osta last cycle. I was just thinking that my PCT was the same as the last one except the SERM, but you are right about the Osta dosage.

s4 combined with osta should be make for a very good log!

Yeh PCT is done, and I definitely can't complain with how PCT has went. I held weight and strength pretty well. With that said I have to admit that I'm a little disappointed in my total mass gained. I was hoping for more than 4-5 lbs of muscle out of this cycle, but its just the price you have to pay for trying to keep it lean. My next bulk, which probably won't be for a good while, I will probably not have any burn days just to see how much muscle I can gain. I will probably still do cardio but i will probably do something like 3k every day and adjust from there.

I should have an ending pic up tonight or tomorrow guys!
 
So Rick I'm pretty torn as to whether or not I should run osta for this coming up pct. The strength gains I've had are incredible and I want nothing more for them to stay. Have you ran osta for more then just this pct? Are PRs typical for you in pct or just when you run osta?
 
Well guys here is my last pic from the end of PCT. I think I did pretty well staying lean during the cycle. I wish I would have added more muscle, but 4-5 lbs of LBM isn't too bad. I actually look better than this photo now IMO. I've leaned more over the past few days and I'm just under 9% at about 170 right now. I started Forma and S4 today (along with the Ostarine) so recomp is under way...I should have a log up sometime today

I usually wear large shirts for the most part and they usually fit me pretty well. I have some bigger mediums I can still fit in but they are almost too tight and douche-bagish if that makes sense. I do like a snug fit though. Why you ask?

Just asked because I'm 190 & I'm in that between stage medium and large, hell need to buy more large shirts...

I'd said 7 days because u put u working out cardio & weights 7 days str8 for a week & I was like WOW! if u can do it why not!

Ok I gotcha...yeh I'm at a hard part for sizes too. Of course it varies from companies shirts too. I have larges that are tight as hell and mediums that are loose too.

7 days won't be bad I don't think. Its just a bunch more cardio pretty much...and I'm one of the crazy bastards that love cardio...lol
 
Rick job well done. You're build reminds me of an old friend by the name of drew avery. Way back in the day he was one of the winners of the eas body transformation contest back in the late 90's. We also became partners in my old company. Among some others.
 
You look under 8% to me, must be the tighter skin skewing my eye or maybe you are a bit leaner. You may just be storing ti very well also...
