Layne & Isabel's Low-Carb Cheesecake Masterpiece

Ingredients:

2 lbs no fat cream cheese
4 whole large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tablespoon cinnamon
4 oz (1/2 cup) low carb no fat milk
1 cup cooking splenda (sucralose)
Directions:


Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Using No Fat cooking spray, spray 9" pie pan
Mix ingredients together using an electric blender in a large bowl
Pour mix into pre-greased pan

Heat at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes
Remove from oven and place in refrigerator

You must let this sit at least 4-5 hours in the fridge if you want a decent cheesecake.

Macronutrient Totals (per slice):


Protein: 20g
Carbohydrates: 6g
Fat: 2.25g
Chocolate or vanilla protein powder can be added to the mix for flavor and more protein if desired.

If one desires a softer cheesecake, then use 1 lb of light ricotta cheese and 1 lb of fat free cream cheese instead of 2 lbs fat free cream cheese. This changes the totals per slice.

Macronutrient Totals (per slice):


Protein: 17g
Carbohydrates: 5g
Fat: 4.5g

* This cheesecake is extremely good when topped with Walden Farms' calorie free chocolate syrup and a thin coat of peanut butter or fat free whip cream.
 
Reduced Carb & Fat French Toast



Ingredients:

3 egg whites
2 slices Nature's Own Wheat n' Fiber Bread
1 tsp cinnamon
1 packet splenda (or 2 tsp cooking splenda)
Fat free cooking spray
1 slice Fat Free Sharp Cheddar cheese
Optional- Walden Farms Maple Syrup
Directions:


Place egg whites in plastic container and mix in cinnamon and splenda and beat with fork or whisk until thoroughly mixed.
Place bread in container and allow it to soak up the egg white mixture.

Place bread in frying pan, and cook over medium heat.
Cook each side of bread until it begins to turn white and harden from the egg white.

Place 1/2 slice fat free sharp cheddar cheese on each slice of bread.
Place bread & cheese in microwave and cook until cheese begins to melt.

Remove French toast from microwave and add calorie free maple syrup to taste.

* This is also quite good when topped with calorie free chocolate syrup.

Carbohydrates: 17g

Hold The Carbs, High Protein Oatmeal

Ingredients:


1 serving Keto Foods & Snacks Hot Cereal (40g)
2 heaping tablespoons chocolate protein powder
2 tsp cinnamon
3 packets splenda (1 tablespoon cooking splenda)
Directions:


Place oatmeal in a bowl.
Bring 5 oz of water to a boil in a separate pan and add it to the oatmeal once boiling occurs.
Mix with a spoon for 20 seconds. Place in microwave on high for 1 minute.
Remove from microwave and add protein powder, cinnamon, and splenda.

Mixture may be microwaved a second time if desired consistency has not been reached.

Macronutrient totals (per bowl):


Protein: 27g
Carbohydrates: 13g

Man, I am draggin ass big time!!! I have just been tired and run down. Playing with my son, I need to take breaks and sit down for a bit. During cardio I've gotten light headed and need to take a break at 30 minutes. The diet and intense exercise is certainly having an impact on my energy levels!!!

Regardless, I'll push on for 2 more weeks and come in with 5%bf or less! My coach estimated I was at 6-7% on Sunday, so I'm right on track. This last couple weeks will just be tweaked diet to maximize fat loss in the few remaining areas to get full striations. I've lost a lot of size, but made up for it with definition and more "pop" to my muscles.

I'm getting excited for this competition, my coach thinks I'm going to kill it for my first show!

Oh, another tasty treat I had this morning was plain Dannon Greek Yogurt (0g fat, 6g carbs, 15g protein) mixed with chocolate protein powder. Tasted REALLY good, and got in ~40g protein with minimal carbs. Chocolate pudding anyone? :)
 
You're carb up didn't go well ? Don't abandon it, yah you will get watery that's called spill over, once you spill over you have to time out how long it takes to clean up. That's how you time you're carb up... this is usually the difference between winning and losing...
 
More LISS this evening, actually typing this on treadmill!

Made more Layne Norton cheesecake, added 2 scoops myofusion this time. Tastes better, and a fluffier consistency. Wife likes it better too.

Had another greek yogurt and myofusion pudding. Yum!

I got some sugar free Torani syrup from amazonn too. Made a zero calorie raspberry slush that was REALLY refreshing. 6-pack variety on sale 25% off and free shipping! Perfect for summer!

Yah right about where he thought he'd be, remember he was reasonably lean to begin with, I knew he was going to be really cut.. well ripped is the proper word. I wish I had the time but I won't be able to catch up till 3 weeks later when I do my show.

Yah it's doable you're right on track if you ask me, you should peak right on time...I will be ok I think too come May 14th...
 
I'm planning on using pics from my show, if I get them in time. It's on the 23rd, so that should work well. I figure the lighting, etc. won't get much better! I'll load it the 24th or so, after an epic feast!!!

Yah get somebody to take somre for you, if you have to wait for the show photographer in can take too long. If you know a decent photographer just get them a ticket, some shows allow photographer passes...

I'll finish my cycle on 25 April, after the show. I figure being on will help me look my best/fullest. I think I can get any retained water out through cardio and diuretics.

I'll be running nolva and clomid for 6 weeks, starting at 40/100 then going down to 20/50, then 10/25. I'll take it along with a bountiful assortment of OTC stuff, I have loads of it I need to get through! I have some Osta SARMS left over too that I'll probably use up, maybe 2-3 weeks worth.

I'll be taking it natty for a good 5-6 months after!

No time for cardio, but had a good weight session. Energy was good while lifting, the supersets seemed to fly by. I was shortening up the rest between sets too.

I'll do cardio and posing tonight. Posing class tomorrow, I'm going to be working on my personal routine. I think I'm going to use Black Eyed Peas "Pump It" for my song.

Spinal erectors were looking AWESOME in the mirror today. My back is finally getting shredded up, and each muscle is popping out. Glutes are well on their way to getting striated, you can definitely see the separation now. I hope when I drop water I'll get full striation. If not, I'm pretty happy with the progress regardless. I put some eviscerate on my ass this morning, so we'll see if it helps!!!

So starting tomorrow it'll be peak week for me. I'm not sure exactly what to do. I'm going to change my diet up and go to all fish instead of chicken, and drop dairy completely (bye-bye Layne Norton Cheesecake :(). I'll be drinking LOTS of water, and do some sodium loading too I think. Come Wednesday, I'll start to taper water off and cut sodium through to Friday/Saturday. Any suggestions?
 
Just make sure nothing you're taking makes you retain water, you can tell if you are likely.. Turinbol lv made me hold a little and it left about a week later. I had always thought it was drier...

Yep, I've got Expel for that. The whole sodium/water thing has a lot of different opinions on loading and cutting. I'm gonna have a difficult time figuring it out with that and carbs... :(

I really like it with Vanilla Myofusion, tastes like a good vanilla frosting. :32: 1 scoop of protein is all you need for a little cup of the yogurt.

Yeah, Greek Yogurt is a lot more versatile than I originally thought. The fat free plain variety is a good base to add all sorts of goodies. I really like it mixed with protein powder as a frosting for my cheesecake. It's like one big protein dessert that tastes AWESOME!

Since I'm in peak week now, I decided to hit legs first so they can recover well for Saturday. I backed off on weight a little so I didn't overdo it too much. Had a great pump, and some awesome veins are popping out now, a big one running across my teardrop! When I was standing, I had even more quad veins, which was neat too.

I'll be doing Chest/Back Tuesday and Arms/Shoulders Wednesday, then doing circuit training Thursday and Friday to keep my body warm and pumped. I'll probably cut back on cardio too.

Everything is coming in really well. My coaches were really impressed this past Saturday with my posing. My physique has definitely come in nicely, everything is very defined and good striations. Glutes are almost there too! I hope to finish strong this week and (hopefully) work my ass off!

I'm also trying IF/Lean Gains to finish off the remaining bits of stubborn fat. While changing diet during peak week may not be advised, I know that my body responds very well the first week I start something new, then gets acclimated quickly. I figure what I did to get to this point won't take me to the next level, to do that I need to switch it up. I want to come in totally peeled, so I am going to give it a shot. I tried it over the weekend, and it worked pretty well. Today it's a little tougher since I hit weights this AM, and I have to stay fasted until 3PM. I'm doing BCAA (pre, intra, and every 2 hours), but I still am not sure that this is optimal for my recovery.

Any morning workout brahs doing IF care to chime in? Kleen, Rick, others?
 
Wait you're training in the final week? I normally wouldn't but I'm not on stage on Saturday... I wiould just go with posing and cardio this week if I were you.
 
I've heard that, but I was reading some Layne Norton stuff on peak week and it said it was okay to train at a lighter intesity during peak week. Even my coaches were advising light workouts, and legs first thing in the week. Definitely need to taper down, but still good to work the muscles. It also helps with glycogen storage, keeping the demand up! Made sense to me, and I just can't imagine not going to the gym!!!
