Cardio - Elliptical LISS for 40 minutes (~500 cal)
Sometime in the middle of the night I woke up with a HORRIBLE cramp in my right calf. I literally fell out of bed and writhed on the floor in pain. I managed to get it loosened up a little and climbed back into bed about 2 minutes later. When I woke up at 5AM, I could barely walk on my right leg, the calf had never really unknotted. I was planning on doing chest/back today instead of hammies because of this, but when I got to the gym I worked some light calf work and it started to feel a bit better. Now later in the day around 9:30AM my right hamstring cramps up real bad. So now my right calf and hamstring are lame! Yuck!
I started the AMS stack today, and boy was it a lot! I felt llike I was going to puke a couple times, really bad too, I had to run to the bathroom. My mouth was locking up like I was getting ready, while saliva was just dripping out of my mouth. Not cool. I may try just 1 scoop Pump Fixx tomorrow and see if it's better.
Yesterday was a bad food day. I met up with a colleague that I haven't seen in a while and we were supposed to meet up months ago for a beer. Well, last night we met up and I had a couple beers, and not light beer, full up IPA 6% ABV. I also ate some crab and artichoke dip with french bread. When I got home, I was ravenous for carbs! I ate a whole lot of stuff I shouldn't have, like fruits, chocolate, rice crispie treats, breakfast cereal, cookies, etc. I stuffed my face! I felt so bad I went down and did 40 minutes of HIIT before bed, ~650 calories burned in 4 miles.
Even with all that binging last night, I weighed in at 184.6 after the run at night. So, still making progress, and still getting shredded. Phew! No more of that until this contest is over!
