I know what you mean, trust me.Yeah, they do grow but the gains on calves are never as pronounced as everything else...it just fustrates me sometimes.
I have that weird pacific islander gene that makes me have pretty good calves without any intentional effort :think: My soleus & gastroc have a pretty distinct split & prominence and I didn't earn that. I don't ever directly work my calves.
Go ahead and rub it in. Maybe use a little salt next time.:wink1:

I am one of those blessed bastards that gets all the questions. How did you build your calves. Seems like most of the people who get asked that just came by them naturally. I just played soccer for 5 years and spent my childhood walking up and down mountains, on a bike, or a skateboard all the time.
Todays workout was awesome! Went up on reps for everything. Db curls are still moving up slowly but I'll get there.

Incline db curls - 60x4-3-4=11
Reverse cable curls - 2x12 (+2 reps); wrist was feeling better today...1 day at a time.
Db holds w/100's for 45 secs
stretch for 45 secs
Standing calves - 300x7 (only 5 seconds at bottom and not 15)
stretch for 60 secs each
SLDL - moved up 10lbs!! 320x4 :woohoo:
CS angled leg press - 12x9 (+7 reps!); will throw a 25 on the top next time.
Ham stretch with 135 for 45 seconds; moved down in weight because I my hams are growing faster than quads..just trying to ease up.
Quad stretch for 60 seconds

4 times a day takes some work even at our young age. I'm usually in sleepytime shutdown mode after 2. 3 is doable but man I'd need a serious nap afterwards. 4 is a serious, serious case of teh hornies.

Fenugreek seems to do the trick for women, and it's possible it will also increase their chest size!- So, TestoPro sounds like quite a treat for the lady. It's got teh Fenugreek goodies plus all the other test-bosting jazz.

Highest incline db press - 60x7-4-2=13 :woohoo:

Db skullz - 50x12-7-2=22!! Gonna wait until I get past 30 reps before moving up in weight.

I love DC. Best routine I have ever used! I am growing like crazy from it and I dont see myself turning back.Damn good workout Bro! I can't believe how close my training program is to some of the DC stuff. I really need to go check it out in depth. Some of the stretching reminds me of the old school Spider Stretching techniques from the early 90's. Get a huge pump then stretch the sh1t out of it using weighted stretches. I got some good gains from that training too.

Whatever works for you, stick with it. You have found your way and its working great. I probably will make changes over time. But for now this has worked perfect...what am I saying I already have made changes :lol:
