KLEEN takes Anabolic Control with Natabolic & SWOLE! + many other goodies.

I might have to consider more cable work later, I found it hard to go heavy with my shoulder but it's also a good rehab exercise...

Oh yes you Sir lift plenty heavy with cables. You are right regarding reps though. 5 is a bit on the low side, AND I have to remember I am not a young buck anymore. What I have always done will not be what I am always able to do.

For sure when done with that in mind. I would give you shoulder a break from direct work other than doing a Rotator cuff complex for a couple weeks if it is bothering you that bad.

Well it was but I am just in the middle of taking it for another test drive ...

Hope it recovers well Doug!

Nice quote brother. That reminds me of a sign/plaque that I saw on the wall of Ronnie Coleman's home gym.
It reads: "If you always do what you've always done.....you will always get what you always got."

How very true.

There is some small discomfort at lighter weight, I will start pushing it more next week.

I swear that the light weight warm-ups hurt worse than the heavy work sets sometimes. I think some people don't mentally concentrate properly when they're using weights that they know is well within their limits. They let form slip.
I think when we get under the heavy steel, we know to keep our bodies contracted, squeeze the bar, push hard, and keep the form tight.

Therefore.......give me heavier weight!!!

^ this. My cuffs will hurt like hell sometimes warming up, but when I get my working weight up it all goes away. This may be because I am one stubborn son of a bitch though...jury's still out on that :D

Yah another reason is tendons take time to warm up and the pain goes away... I find this a lot with large muscles like legs the warmups are the worst but once they're warm and I feel loose then I feel like I can handle heavier weight.

It's almost always this way for me too. The less reps, the less pain I have and in that sense it is easier to lift heavy.

IM BACK YOU CRAZY FUGGER!!! WOOOO

Give me a minute to catch up

Alright guys had a stomach bug and haven't worked out or even been online. I am getting back on the wagon tomorrow and will be hanging a new log for NO Infuse. I will just be detailing the pump and joint pain aspects of the product. All the rest of my madness will continue in here. Happy Belated Father's Day to everyone.

I call it the "Splash" diet. Glad you are back on point Kleen.

Glad to hear your back up and running Kleen!

Well this morning was a wash. I was still feeling a little nauseous when the alarm went off and decided I might was well give myself one more day. I think I lost weight but my stomach is still distended from being upset. Gotta love that. I am a little dehydrated so getting fluids in me today then tomorrow I can go in and try to kill it. My entire weekend got hosed with that one. I am interested to try out that NO injuse I have never thought of a topical pump solution so curious to see how it works out.

I got my Lipotropic Protein and Postal in middle of last week. I tried the Postal out the flavor is pretty good. I think it will come in handy as my source of carbs post workout. I have been drinking the protein since I got it as well. I am picky about my chocolate flavors and this one is not too bad. It mixes really easily and I didn't get any of the protein bloat that I get from some powders. So far so good, hopefully the lipo part of it really get's in there and help me cut out the fat.

I think you will like Postal a lot. I have taken it post workout now for at least a month and gained no fat and continued to cut fat. The new version is much better IMO but I don't mind the old one and will be using it once my current tub runs out here pretty soon. The lack of Y in the new one is just so much nicer so you are overly stimmed AFTER a workout.

BOOOOOO YAAAAAAAA!!!!

why were you dehydrated?

I changed things up a bit to get back on track but was really enjoing the full body again. I really think I must task myself with a way to make that work along side my tendon and healing. It is just what I love. Expect to see me fine tune things to get back to full body work. I just miss the efficiency of it.

Incline bench 135x15,185x15, 205x10 - I was pretty impressed with some of the numbers on incline since I hadn't done any in so long. I felt I could have gotten 12 on the last set but no spotter and trying to take care of the elbow I stopped at 10.
Chins from dead hang - 7, 5, 6 - Chins were hard but I stopped to a dead hang before perfoming every rep and it felt really good i did not allow for body english either.
Squats 135x20, 225x15, 225x7 got light headed and put weight up. I was not ready for the 90 degree heat in the garage. I was just running sweat profusely and once I got light headed and bent down to lean on my knees saw how much I was sweating, I decided to call the rest of the workout off. I was standing between to large puddles of sweat and was still steadily dripping. Was time for me to call it quits. I was supposed to attempt a tricep lift and didn't. I may attempt just the triceps lift in the morning.

My chest and shoulders as well as triceps and biceps are very full and pumped. I only took in 2 scoops of Postal for carbs with 16 grams of BC/EAA then ate a 5 oz checken breast and an oz of almonds just now. That concludes my food intake for the day.

Nice one clean, Good incline numbers, and glad you are watching the body there, no need to hurt yourself for an ego boost :)

Thanks guys!

Whew! Beat today

I am surprisingly beat today. I feel great but my legs are worn out. After walking up the big hill on the treadmill my legs are telling me I got them decently. Funny how conditioning drops so quickly when you have not been feeling well and miss a few sessions.

My elbow isn't really any worse for the wear. I got a few ideas on how to readjust my schedule to go back to a full body type of workout. Just take some of the extra tension off of arms via exercise selection. I will post up something once I finalize it a little. It will be loosely based off of my Warrior Workout but with not as many drop sets. Perhaps varying intensity throughout the week as well. Something like a 15-10-5 rep scheme. I will figure it out and post up like I said. I just miss full body workouts and while trying to cut i can not think of anything better to aid in it with less cardio than a full body attack.

Stack Review so far
Aggression - Very good, had a hard time controlling my temper there for a bit but I have basically gotten a hold of it now.

Libido - Libido has been up higher than usual, but it is always pretty high.

Strength - I have hit about 4-5 PR's recently and as long as I keep pushing it I don't see that stopping on stack.

Composition - I have leaned up quickly when eating right and bulked up quickly when eating more loosely. I am gaining LBM while slowly bringing down the fat.

Recovery - Recovery has been really good several times I was sure I would be very sore and only ended up slightly sore if at all.

Sleep - Sleep was excellent while I was taking HGHpro as well as falling asleep very quickly. I am taking Ghenerate right now and waiting for my order of IGH-1 to get here to stack with it. I have not fallen asleep as quickly on the Ghenerate but the quality of sleep has not diminished. On another note, my wife really appreciates me letting her use the last bit of my HGHpro bottle. It really helps her sleep.

Dosing, I started taking STOKED! earlier this week and will be at a full dose as of today. This should help with weight loss and keeping the boys a bouncing. I am was taking 3 Receptor a day starting today as well.

I really enjoyed my Postal last night, I am devising a plan for an insulin rush post workout with only the 2 scoops of postal and 28 grams of BC/EAA's post workout. BCAA's especially Leucine are well known to cause an insulin release I am thinking the surge of them post workout should create an anabolic effect without me needing to take in too many carbs. I find my dieting is just easier when I limit carb intake. I have been taking in about 4 scoops of Lipotropic Protein a day this week. The taste is growing on me more. Lets just see some cuts coming in.

Lipoderm - I have noticed it slightly tightening up the area around my lower chest. I have forgotten to use it a few nights also and messed up my diet some so that is a good sign considering I have had a few too many cheat meals any progress is a good thing.

I know right!
Here's a blast from the past the ol' timers will appreciate.

6/25/2010 Full body training

I had a damn good workout today. I went a little higher reps on most everything today.

Was taking as short a break as possible which is really short when the weight change is just moving a pin and going for it after the wife hit hers. Maybe 45 seconds rest between sets.

Cable Crossovers - 80x15, 120x13, 120x9>90x8 - Felt really good, I wanted 15 on that 120 the first time. I really wore myself out going for it too! Awesome fight! 120x13 may be a PR but I can't say for sure.

Pull Overs - 50x15, 70x15, 70x8, I chose not to do a drop set here since I sometimes feel a pinch in my shoulders. Once again getting to 15 with the 70 was serious work and killed me for that next set.

Standing Shoulder Press - 65x15, 135x9, 135x5 - Really weak here but I haven't done these in a bit and was surprised by how heavy the weight felt. It will come up quickly.

HS Preacher Curl Machine - 65x15, 80x15, 95x13 - done open handed to keep grip out of equation nice quality contractions here.

Leg Press - 315x20, 405x20, 405x20 - My knee was a little tender from the treadmill and new shoes yesterday. The heel part of the running shoes is a little more elevated and accomodating it while walking uphill on the treadmill had my outer part of my knee a little twingy… Won't be any big deal after a few more break in sessions with them. Either way I didn't want to push them too hard going heavy so I opted for some high rep insanity. It doesn't look like much but with 45 seconds rest here I was giving it hell to finish off the second set, and I was doing mini rest pauses at lock out by the end of the last set to complete it. I found myself wondering why in the hell did I decide to basically do 3 widow makers for my leg workout? Then I remember CUZ THIS IS WHAT I DO, now get thos last two reps BIA!

I think the low carb dieting is catching up to me in all of my second sets, I opted not to do a mid week carb meal this week because I don't want to slow my transition into burning fat as my predominant source of energy. I may or may not do a carb up this weekend. Very likely I will forego that until next week. I want to get a baseline weight for me without a carb up and go with that as far as composition goes. I feel a semi depleted state gives me the best reading of how much actuall muscle tissue I am holding instead of how full the muscle I have is. I would expect my body weight to be in the 191-194 range by next week due to lack of glycogen stores and extra water. I do feel I have really tightened up so far this week since making the TUTU challenge and the cheating is over from that. I have my head in the game and that means things are going to get good. I will say I am still going to have my Brazilian Buffet with Ouffinny some time soon but it will be all salad and MEAT!!!! I can swing that without much of an issue to my body.

I was gonna put up a nice libido check but we have a visitor in my office and can't browse through those images while he is in cube behind me. LOL

Nice workout Kleen Machine. Low carb really hampers the following sets. Let me assist you with the libido dilema..

Yeah that second set was a bia on each one but by next week energy stores should have started changing over to fat. I will make a point to go pick up some EVCO this weekend to help get me into ketosis. It is really supposed to help with the shift from carbs to fat for energy source.

I need to grab some as well. Do you take it before bed or anytime during the day?

I need to grab some as well. Do you take it before bed or anytime during the day?

I will take a tablespoon of it twice a day, once before bed and may try some before a workout on a Saturday otherwise once in the morning after my workout. I understand it is supposed to be burned easily enough that it can give good energy for a workout but I don't have time in the morning to have it early enough before the workout to really have much of an effect on me so it will more be after a workout.

Here is my logic, since I am low carb anyway the insulin spike I will get from my BCAA's and the 22 grams of fast acting carbs in my 2 scoops of Postal should be enough to clear out my blood sugar pretty quickly. I will let the carbs get into my system about 45 minutes between the insulin and a GDA blood sugar should drop back to a low state. Then I will have a tablespoon of EVCO or straight MCT Oil in liquid form. What this should do since blood sugar will be low at that point is kick start my ketosis and once I have my body using fats for energy it should do so more efficiently throughout the day. Having another dose before bedtime with some casein or meat protein source should tell my body once again to burn that fat for energy, and not go after the muscle. Hopefully setting me up for a night of non catabolic rest.
Now most of this is Bro-science and logic based off of my understanding of how the body and the supplements work. I have to say that my BroScience is often right on point when it comes to this stuff so I expect good results from this method.

I like the logic of this. I have been dosing 2 TBSP pre bed for a couple weeks now and I feel it keeps me from going hungry in the middle of the night like I usally do. I just ordered some TruNutrition Sciences casein protein and will give this a try for the first time. With my age everything is about the recovery...
