I struggle with MK-677. At only 10 mg at night it makes me wake up every hour, like a clockwork. One hour sleep then waking up...10 minutes until sleeping again. One hour later- waking up...and so on. All in conjunction with silly dreams.

Today was "rest pause until vomiting day".
Everything with 2 rest pause sets, even legs. 9 different exercises, whole body, 2 sets + each set 2 RP sets.
Followed my slin + cialis + hyper hydration protocol. Popped the MK-677 before workout, instead before bed, like @Hyde suggested. Went smoothly with no sides! Thank you @Hyde !
Now sitting pumped up in front of my PC, feeling huge. Only meal of the day will be 600 gr Tilapia filet, sour cream and sesame seeds.

In other threads it was definitely a no go for discussion. If I understand the inference it was basically because there’s a significant risk that someone doesn’t use it properly or miscalculated a dose etc and dies. That’s not something the site (or probably any members) would want to have any link to (understandably).......When everything reset recently I read through the terms and conditions and I'm sure it said any mention of it would result in instant ban but I can't find it now so maybe I dreamt it.

Yesterday was Day 1 for me! Today hunger hasn’t remotely shown itself (yesterday was hungry all day), but energy is possibly lower - feeling very faint. I am adding significant amounts of salt & potassium to my water at a 1:1.5 ratio.
Its basically a fast until training at 9.30 pm. When training starts I load about 70gr of plain sugar intra workout, beforehand slin at 6 IU. This way I circumnavigate liver as glycogen storage and fill up my muscles only. After training my "one meal of the day" (in a 3 hours window), mainly protein with some fat. I'm gaining size on this protocol, I think (well, looks like it, not sure if it stays without slin). At the same time I get more vascular. Time will tell if this is the holy grail: Losing fat and gaining muscles.You doing slin and fasting? How does that work for you?

Shortest gym session ever. 2 sets of incline crunches, followed by 3 sets of deadlifts, followed by the worst back pumps ever. Was unable to move, sit or breathe or for about 20 minutes. Left the gym in slow motion. Damn.

@Hyde weirdly energy and cognitive aspect has been ok for me. I felt a few hunger pangs in the first 24 hours but mid way through day two and I feel fine. I’m already appreciating just how much time I lose either cooking, eating or cleaning up from cooking. Combined with no gym (took on board @spurfys comments on that - I’m still walking my dog but that’s it) I’ve gained around 4 hrs a day!
I wanted to keep it as supplement free as possible so only things I’m taking are a multivit, zma (for the magnesium), metforim (just a longevity thing I do) and sea salt in my water a few times a day.
I’ll be going back and reading your stuff about carb loading afterwards HGP, I know Sal di Stefano plus others talk about the anabolic nature of refeeding after a fast and how they use fasting as a strategy to gain muscle (given I’m also starting a cycle next week I’m hoping for big things)

Urine has been darker (not dark but not clear like I expected) than I expected so could be the multi passing through. Could be some detoxification?
Cognitive change has been the stand out thing thus far, I feel sharp and almost serene.

Think the Zinc in ZMK was chelated. Plus I had Zinc from Rise.You are the exception.
Unless you were taking chelated zinc, anything more than 10 mg on an empty stomach should have provoked nausea -- anything more than 25 mg, vomiting. Zn is both a gastric irritant and interacts with chemoreceptors in the gut which cause nausea.
As someone currently doing this fast, how does it decrease my cardiovascular risk factors? I understand the cancer and immune disorders. Just want to understand!As long as you fast several times per year and keep your bloodwork in check, I see no problems with this.
The main risks of being "on" forever are:
1. Cardiovascular risk (mitigated by fasting)
2. Cancer (mitigated by fasting)
3. Blood/immune disorders (mitigated by fasting)
Useful info as ever brother. I had seen these as effects of water fasting from a number of sources but one thing I’ve not been able to find is the timescales or effects of different types of fasting in relation to these (probably due to the lack of clinical human studies, especially on extended water fasts, any you know of would be much appreciated). In particular I’m interested in time restricted eating (8-10 hr feeding window daily) and extended water fasting.......Chronic inflammation is the single biggest risk factor in CV health. Fasting crushes chronic inflammation and resets the immune system so that it’s not hyperactive.
There’s also the matter of restored insulin sensitivity, reduced AGEs, lowered small dense LDL, less gut wall permeability. (Etc)

The effects on mTOR and inflammation from TRF are largely due to decreased BG load and corresponding lowered insulin, while extended fasting does the bulk of work in the autophagy and immunomodulatory arenas. There is probably some degree of autophagy and immunomodulation occurring during sufficiently long TRF, but if I had to throw it out there I'd guess that these don't really substantively begin until around the 12-14 hour mark -- this would make sense, as GH only begins to appreciably rise around the 16 hour mark, and the GH rise is caused, in part, by the body's desire to preserve lean tissue (ie, excluding it from autophagocytocic processes, which tend to be ultimately protein-specific).
And a bit off-topic, but GH really doesn’t begin to surge until after about 16 hours of fasting, so anything less than a 16:8 isn’t going to really have profound recomposition effects, if anyone was wondering.
