My plane leaves at 1500. I wanted everyone to know that I appreciate your kind words of encouragement, as well as your friendship over the past 2 years.

I'm not one to be sappy, so I'll keep it short... I walk this line so you can walk free. I hope to speak with you all soon!

I may be gone for 2 weeks, or 2 months; nothing is certain. One thing that is certain is my resolve for this Country, and the belief that we can one day put all of this behind us and simply live. As a man that was once declared dead, I go back with more fight in me than ever. I will not fail you.

Back from Afghanistan; got home early this morning. I am jet-lagged and completely exhausted. Sleep is the only thing on my agenda this week.

Anyway, it's good to be home.
