Christines..pull away the food spree cut!

Made it through leg day yesterday.

We started with standing curls at 10 per leg supersetted with leg presses wide stance for 15 reps and 4 sets,

Then we did a triple set of 10 per leg on stationary lunges with 15 leg extensions and 15 lying curls for 4 sets.

Then we did 15 barbell deads with walking lunges to one end of the gym for 4 sets.

Then we did 10 pop squats or 4 sets.

Did another plometric exercise and finished with 6 sets of 10 rep calves.
 
I am exhausted after reading your last post! And I thought MY leg day was rough this past week. Whew!

Shoulder day

We started with leaning dumbell presses for 10 per arm supersetted with 15 lateral raises for 4 sets.

Then we did candlestick raises at 10 per arm with 6 front raises for 3 sets.

Then we did 10 bent over lat raises for 3 sets.

We did 3 sets of 20 rep up and backs.

We did reverse pec deck for 10 reps with 6 pop push ups for 4 sets. For whatever reason I pulled something in my left back shoulder. I just kept going and did my best.

We finished with a single shrug into a quarter lateral pulse as a single rep, for 15 reps and 4 sets.
 
Had a wicked chest workout today. It actually made me feel sick and that never happens on chest day. I think it was the abs and decline work.

We started with a triple set of 10 dumbell flyes with 100 coreboard shakes and 15 decline sit ups for 4 sets.

Then we did dumbells together in a press out for 15 reps with 15 coreboard push ups and 15 decline crunches for 4 sets.

Then we did decline press for 10 reps and 4 sets.

Then we did 15 overhead extensions decline with 50 coreboard mountain climbers for 4 sets.

Then we did a few other things and finished with the hard one for me.

We did 4 sets of loaded barbell flat bench with a combo move of leg lifts so we took the bar down to our chest and on the way up we raised our legs to meet the bar. We did 4 sets of 10 reps.

Back day

Started with seated rows single armed at 10 per arm with 20 crunches for 4 sets.

Moved to barbell sumo deads for 15 reps with 6 barbell bent over rows for 4 sets.

Then we did 4 sets of single armed dumbell rows for 15 reps and 4 sets.

Did a single set of 30 roll up let down slow leg lifts.

Then we did single arm standing pulldowns to the chest for 10 per arm with 6 reverse grip pulldowns.

Short and sweet, just the way I like it.

Cardio tonight.
 
M'kay, feel better now.

Arms
Started with overhead cable extensions for 15 reps supersetted with narrow grip cable pushdowns for 10 rep, 4 sets.

Then hit standing dumbell kickbacks for 15 reps with seated pronated curls for 15 reps and 4 sets.

Barbell 21 rep step.Did 7 arm up half reps to chin for 7 reps with 7 from the thigh half way up for 7reps and then did 7 full range curls as 1 set. We did 4 sets of these. These were done with 15 pikes.

Then we did 15 hammer curls with 15 knee ups for 4 sets.

Hit a few more dumbells and finished off with 4 sets of tricep dips feet up with a 25lb plate sitting on abs.
 
That surely didn't hurt. I've been doing that now, heavy carb loading the nite before and morning right before workouts :) then relatively low carbs for 24 hours
 
Leg day

I'm having blood pressure problems that are resulting in me getting sick while training. Might need to take a few off to let the stuff clear my system.

Leg day

Started with 4 sets of extensions for 15 reps.

Moved to dumbell deads on a core board for 10 reps with walking pump lunges to one end of gym.

Then we did 6 weighted step up lunges on coreboard for 6 per leg with a weighted sled push from one end of gym and back. ( I made one of these complete and it set off severe naseau and room spinning) So we decided I would go heavier and do 10 per leg on the lunges.

At this point she checked my pulse and determined my heart rate was way to high. I never did get it to slow down. :(

We moved on to dumbell squats for 10 reps with dumbells up near shoulders then moved them to the front to do front squats for 10 reps and 4 sets.

Then we did 190lbs presses for 15 reps and 4 sets.

I opted out of calves and called it done.
 
Keep a keen eye on that blood pressure my warrior-sistah. I've sworn off stims......again. LOL
But my BP is finally under control.

I recommend lots of Fish Oil, Hawthorn Berries, and Celery Seed Extract.

And Resveratrol is a God-send for BP along with a plethora of other benefits.

She's a complete baby when it comes to taking her fish oil.
 
thank god, my systolic has never been above 135, and diastolic almost never over 80

When I weighed 290+ and was powerlifting, mine shot up to 200/105 and it scared me straight. :yikes:
I immediately dropped the excess body-weight and got hooked on cardio.
 
Well today was a good chest day. I felt fine and was strong all the way through.

Started with dumbell incline press for 15 reps with 10 straight legged deads for 4 sets.

Then we did flat alternating presses for 6 reps with 15 overhead extensions and 15 pop squats for 4 sets.

Then we did a press down into a flyes for 15 reps and did 6 walkouts for 4 sets.

Then we did a triple set of 15 pec deck pulses with 6 full range flyes and 6 push ups feet on bench hands on floor for 4 sets.

Did 3 sets of broomstick twists for 50 reps and was done.
 
Well today was a good day. I felt fine and was strong all the way through.

Now that's the kind of news I like to hear!!!

LOL thanks! Today I was pushed hard. Not only heavy weights but high volume.

Started with single armed bent over cable pulldowns for 15reps per arm with 6 inner grip pull ups for 4 sets.

Then we did cable pull throughs at 100lbs for 10 reps for 4 sets.

Then we did squatted cable rows at 100lbs for 15 reps with 6 reverse grip pulldowns to the chest at 110lbs and then did 10 burpees for 4 sets.

Then we did dumbell rows single armed palms facing back 6 reps right arm, 15 reps bent over to the chest with both arms and then 6 reps for the left arm, 4 sets.

Then we did 20 dumbell shrugs supersetted with 15 90lb reverse grip close grip seated short rows for 4 sets.

My lower back was threatening to cramp from the pump.

Leg day

This was a puking day for me..glad its over.

Started with 4 sets of back to back seated extensions for 15 reps with lying curls for 10 reps.

Then we took the half ball things about a foot apart and did one foot on one and one on the other pop squats on to the floor then back to the ball for 15 reps. These were done with walking lunges from one end of the gym and all the way back.

Thats where I started to feel bad.

Then we did single legged dumbell deads for 10 per leg and 4 sets.

Then we did 20 narrow stance presses at 180lbs, then 20 more at a med foot stance, then 20 wide stance, then we ended with 10 of each narrow, med and wide for a total of 30 straight.

Then we did hack squats for 15 reps narrow and high supersetted with 15 quarter extensions, 15 more med and high stance squats with 15 more extensions and ended with 15 wide stance squats with 15 extensions...

Then I went to the bathroom to be sick.... so glad its over!!!
 
Shoulders

Everything we did was done on a balance board.

Started with 15 overhead presses with 6 inverted lateral raises for 4 sets.

Then we did 10 upright rows out straight and back down with 6 push ups for 4 sets.

Then we did alternating presses with dumbells facing in for 10 per arm with 30 mountainclimbers for 4 sets.

Then we did 30 shrugs into a 1/4 lateral pulse for 4 sets.

Then we did bent over lateral flyes for 20 reps with 10 front pronated raises.

Hit some more things and called it a night.

Yeah I thought that was weird too, they still have school Fri. So they finish at 8pm and its home to bed for school. All the adult parties seem to be Thu-Sat so its a fun week.

We are going out Sat night for Halloween and maybe one last haunted house on Fri?

Its pretty crazy :D Should be fun. we get in for $30 each since we have passes, in some ways I think it might be as fun to spend $60 shooting pool and drinking beer, but oh well :D
 
Been a while since ive posted in one of your logs C so i figured id stop in, say hey and check things out!!

You are lucky Easy, ive gone to Howl-O-Scream just about every year, no can do this year though! haha
 
actually I haven't gone in the last 6 years, since with kids #2 + 3 it just never quite worked out that I could get a sitter :D
 
Chest

Started with the chest press for 10reps supersetted with pec deck for 15 reps and 4 sets.

Then we did overhead extensions for 15 reps with 15 push ups for 4 sets.

Then did incline flyes for 15 reps with 15 incline leg lifts for 4 sets.

Then we did 100 core board shakes with 30 crunches for 4 sets.

Then we did 4 sets of cable flyes.

Pretty easy day.
 
I don't know what "board shakes" are, but they sure sound hard! :)

You get in push up stance with your hands on the balance reebok coreboard and shake it from side to side holding abs and shoulders tight.

Today I did an hour of trick or treat walking in stilletto boots. :) That counts as calf and cardio work right!!
 
As promised a pic of the Halloween outfit. I had my makeup done drag style but it photographed white and reflective.

Oh and this is with months of zero dieting. I've decided to have fun until 10 weeks out from the Arnold. Then cut. After all its winter, you need a little fat to stay warm:)

It was great, we went to a friends house for trick or treat. They did an hour of that and then worked to scare people in his haunted front yard. They actually had more fun doing that.

I think I will end my log until close to the Arnold. I'm not watching diet or doing anything logworthy at the moment. I'm on zero fatburners and nothing but the staples.
