11/01/10 Workout Notes
Workout:
Tonights workout felt like it started off kinda slow, took time to feel the assistance (although I did change up the routine slightly to address some things...) but was definitely movin by midway...
Flat DB press- 10x45, 10x55, 10x70, 6x70
Dips- 10,10,10
Cable Fly(l/r)- 10x40/40, 10x50/50, 10x60/60, 7x70/70
Cable cross over press(l/r)- 10x60/60, 10x60/60, 9x60/60
Decline DB press- 10x30, 10x30(both these sets were done VERY slow), 6x30
Incline Iso press(dropset)(l/r)- 10x55/55->10x45/45->7x35/35->10x25/25 (seperate) 10x25/25
Machine fly- 70x10, 90x10, 90x10
Workout Notes:
This had me pretty friggin dead by the end of the workout... hit a stride and then ran it right into the ground with that dropset, lol.
I decided to change up my workout slightly to doing flat bench first for a couple reasons.... In the past I have always increased all around chest strength much faster doing this so hopefully I will be able to start throwing up some REALLY heavy DB's again by the end of this cycle... hoping at least 90s but may not happen... The other main reason was inspired from my pic I just posted... Ive noticed that the outer width of my pecs are growing pretty well from doing wide slow declines and inclines but the inner portion of my chest, which is typically really defined for me (see avi and post Prime pics) seems to be lacking in quick development and I'd like to have this section stand out again... so Im dedicating my first fresh lift to the flat DB press which has always brought that portion of my chest out nicely...
I will switch back over to incline again once the main mass of my pecs have been recovered to focus on developing the upper section of my pecs to where they were post prime again as well. That run is when I really started focusing on upper chest and did a good job bringing it out.... but that was only after my chest was pretty well built other places...
been contemplating changing my routine to fit chest in twice a week buuuut I'm really iffy about that and worried bout possible over training for such a direct group.....

This was a surprise to me honestly as I didnt even get in a lot of heavy foods today (prob also why workout started out slow then fizzled after short take off) but I def think it shows in the pic.... shoulda done leg shots too, but measurements will just have to do, cause Im sure a lot of trade off has been done there too. Not WAAAAY bigger but WAAAY more defined for sure and way harder, friggin feels like rocks right now!
Really gettin more and more excited as this goes along as to how far I'll be able to get by the end of this and just hope that at least if weight is lost in PCT that none is quality mass, I can care less if I drop even 5lbs, as long as its water....
We will just have to see though, I have a feeling with my PCT that it wont be much lost at all
