Good stuff and yeah after about 3-4 days straight of Perform I have to switch from boxers to boxer briefs, the "free movement" in boxers is just asking for a 6th grade boner experience it becomes so sensitive and ready to go.

I don't know if I will get around to making a video but if I do this weekend I will add that posing tip into it.
I hear you Perform is crazy! Only use it when needed. I don't like to use it too much. A honeymoon or vacation is ideal or when you want to please the wife/girlfriend 5 x's a day.

Yah I understand holding off on the testopro when rehabbing to avoid unwanted motivation. That kind of drive will suit you better later....

Its makes you want something that much more when you once had it! (in my case moving heavier weights)

I am not because Ive worked so freaking hard all these years to be large and strength= largeness. If my shoulder says no I can only obey it. Luckily I have a feeling I will be able to lift heavy very slowly over time adding like 5 lbs or 2.5 every week to stuff like chest and shoulders, maybe even slower than this depending on how it feels. This means itll take months, a couple or even three or four or however long it takes to be back where I was before this all started.

using the red raz recoverpro. haven't tried the lemon maniac yet.

*I had to say now that i have been though twio major injuries with these being my worst I can truly appreciate lifting again. I am progressing nicely and focusing on the squeeze more than just moving weight, which i used to do. I am planning on working out this way; although Ill move much less weight, I wotn be using my tendons and joints while targeting the muscle more.*

Ive come to accept the fact my body can not take the way I used to train. Having said all of that, I still believe I can train heavy and have no major injuries and still build a physique I desire. All of us guys who have been though injuries of some kind , Doug, chris, Myself all these discussions about how to train properly to prevent injury is great talk and I really took notes over the could years weve been interacting. I am sure there is much more we can all learn to prevent injuries

Yah bottom line is that it's simply not necessary to overload and lift heavy like we used to, my results with lighter (progressive) lifting has been more than satisfactory.

Yeah and the cool thing about the starting lighter progression is that your goal is to progess slower allowing more time for the joints and tendons to adapt to the stress. There are still some PR's in our future, just slightly different form or slightly shorter ROM, and less aggressive jumps in weight. I should have already moved to 1-2 lb increments but have not had to as of yet with the 1-Andro really adding some strength recently. However I will be getting my stuff together soon to be able to do it. I tried a while back but didn't have time to wait on a Home Depot guy to come by and cut the chains. I will go to ACE hardware next time much faster service since a smaller store.

ace used to be very popular in my area, recently they have closed a bunch of them-very few are left now. loew's and menards are the big guys here.

My Ortho thinks I need surgery. Talked with him today and he reviewed mr MRi again. said something about laral tear,which the first MRI showed but the second dye injected one didnt. If ART and going slowly does not work I have an important decision to make. Right now though with the lighter weights I am using it is working

Indeed Tom. I think youll enjoy it. The new sleep product 3 z is nice. -Great Sleep on it-better than hghpro in my opinion . I do feel a bit drowsy upon waking and could tell I was on something the night before

*although I am not even going what i consider heavy form is slow and under constant tension, no locking out as I feel that is bad for the joints, Things are looking positive for my recovery. I am starting to fill out some more muscle even with these lighter weights. I am so thankful i can lift . My progression will be very slow and if I hit any sticking points Ill get in an analyze and take appropriate action. I get ART tomorrow =)

*Notes you can see I am not lifting one all out set like I used to. I still think High Intensity training is good stuff -at the right time. I simply wont do this type of training all the time- and I do feel it puts on a lot of strength and muscle*

Now a days since I am no young kid -30 years old
-warmup up a lot-I could be more specific-maybe another time or maybe Ill do a video on it
-I do not lock out
-I don't not bring stabilizer muscles into the movement example say I am in a good position on seated dumbbell presses I will not heave ho my body to get an extra 3 reps when I am fatigued in that position I am done--I used to just want to bang up as much weight and as many reps all the time ---not so anymore and thats what caused injuries.
-I do rehab shoulder work with the shoulder horn after workouts and the pectoral stretch for internal rotation

*I may be moving less weight and I care how I look and about my body holding up.* It has literally taken years to learn good form and how to do this and I am sure I can keep learning. I have made a big breakthrough recently and am confident putting these things into practice -never too late to learn

aspire and aspire lite? I used aspire lite back in 2008 on spring break and it worked, also gave me a stuffy nose afterwards, unless it was from something else. Other people said they had stuffy noses afterwards as well so i like to think I was not the only one

I was chosen to beta test something from them some brown clear pills back in 2007 and they would not tell me what was in them so I ended up throwing them away

the brown pills were the beta, lol-turns out they were double dosed. the red caps were the ones that were sold!!! some very stong stuff-indeed!!!!

correct, they pulled aspire after finding a prescription ed drug in it, i think you are right that it was cialis.....imo this is what caused the downfall of palo alto labs.

Seated calve raise (NB shoes-I use certain kinds of shoes on certain exercises because some shoes work better than others) 45+25=10, 45+35=10,10,10
right calve only 45lbs=10,10,10
Leg press toe raises 4 plates(per side)=11, 5 plates=10,10,10

warmup for shoulders 5-10 minutes light stuff

Standing side laterals 25lbs=12,10,10,10
Standing bent over laterals 25lbs=12,12,12
Seated dumbbell press 45lbs=12,10,10

wait maybe 3-5 minutes

Triceps
Tricep rope pushdown 100lbs=12,10,10
tricep Dips (bodyweight) facing forward=13, -facing backwards=10, 7, -facing forward=10
Bent over tricep rope extensions 100lbs=12, 9, 10

Hghpro- 4 capsules

*forgot perform today- I do this pre workint

Thank you for following. My shoulder is doing fine -I have to increase weights very slowly-I am pretty sure I have a labral tear which does not heal itself. so well see what the future holds. Hopefully it wont effect me too much because I am not looking to get Jay Cutlers size; although, if I really think I need to get it done and putting it off that Ill have to have it done at some point, Ill go ahead and pull the gun and get it done

Chris, How do you make them 1 lb increments on dumbbells and barbells, if even possible with chains?

My Ortho thinks I need surgery. Talked with him today and he reviewed mr MRi again. said something about laral tear,which the first MRI showed but the second dye injected one didnt. If ART and going slowly does not work I have an important decision to make. Right now though with the lighter weights I am using it is working

Today 6-29-2011 was a 30 min run am first thing and a 30 min walk pm-Busy day -busy tomorrow as well..bedtime. I tried a 3z sample it is simply awesome for sleep. Puts me to sleep faster than hghpro..hghpro is more of a gh releaser in my opinion.

Oh yeah by the way John, if you do have a minor labral tear it is unlikely it will heal just become less inflamed until you work it hard again. That is what I had both times well the first time I tore my labrum to crap. Had anchors and stuff cut our of both the front and back. This last one was a minor tear probably similar to what you have. The part of my shoulder they operated on is perfectly fine. I am dealing with a strain in my rotator cuff now but it is not related to the surgery so recovery can be quick. I think my first surgery where I was torn up in there I repped 275 x9 by 10 months out which was huge for me.

Last night did a 30 minutes walk- I do these a lot of nights I forget to write in here that burns a good 200-300 calories

I am training a lot faster than I was-try doing this youll no way move as much weight..Im talking 60 seconds between sets..when i rest 3 minutes between sets I am much stronger

Chris I have mixed feelings for surgery because I have been large and in charge for a long time- 9 years at this size. Eho-hit -yeah p[robally-for me to go down now-money maygo down because I want be able to do what i do(take care of Grandma). In addition upper body will get smaller--this would be something I would not like to do -however my main concern is would surgery really work for me. My main concern would be to get surgery and it not work or even make things worse- yes I know a guy this happened to(dont know who his Doctor was) story below

I know a guy that we have trained 9 years ago and I see him time to time- he had shoulder surgery and it made him worse off. His is extremely bad and painful.
There are guys like you that came though well. I am just weighing my options. My chiro and ARt therapist says he does not think anything is torn or at least not bad and he recommended not to have surgery. I can lift moderately without much pain or clocking right now. I am testing the waters taking it very slowly by progressing up in weight s-l-o-w-l-y. I have hope that ARt works along with training sensible (not going balls to the wall every workout)

barbell squat 225=5, 8, 5 three months ago i was doing 315 --probably cause I haven't done squats and motor units need to build back up- and they build up fast . been doing lots of walking.burning more energy as well
Hack squat 225=10, 315=9, 6
sissy hack squat 95lbs=10x's

Seated leg curl 170lbs=10, 200lbs=8,10
dumbbell between feet leg curl on incline 30lbs=8,5,7
incline glute ham raise(two part movement) bodyweight + 35 lbs 10,10,10
