Your a monster bro. Give me your appetite.
Actually with eggs I have always been able to eat a lot.. I don't eat steak like that. I can handle about 24 oz's and I have seen my buddies handle a lot more...

I love Sirloin myself, when prepared well it is easily as good as any other I am not a fan of ribeye it is too fatty for my taste. Well for me anyway. As you all know I can eat a ton of cooked animal flesh. Notice I did not say meat because I know some of you guys are just ready to jump on that.

So I FINALLY woke up with some damn water under my skin. I could see it in my face this morning. I filled out a good bit and I still think I could have eaten more carbs and filled up a little more but timing is not allowing for it since I want to actually want to take my pics either Saturday or Sunday and be done. My abs actually almost look better right now then they did before I stated the carb load even though I have some water on them. So the muscle belly in my belly muscle filled up too. ;)

Yah it's cuz you tighten so much when you carb so they really Pop now to keep most of the water in the muscle and lose it in the skin...flushing should do it.

I can do 8 whole eggs pretty easily if I'm pretty hungry, but eggs are not my favorite choice of protein. I love meat too much...lol

I keep trying to convince my wife ice cream has its place.

Its milk for god's sake!

I need to get a degree in nutrition after I finish my BS now o.0 I know nothing of nutrition lol. I figure once I get my abs out I can be more lenient

Haha well the big difference here is that sherbet is fat free. Great for a carb load, you want lots of processed carbs that are high on the glycemic index.

I have to eliminate dairy about 3 weeks before a showing for water in the skin making me look soft.
Yeah I don't have much of an issue with dairy at all but no reason to tempt fate which is why you didn't see me use cereal in my carb up or lowfat icecream. Straight up Sherbet is where it is at on a carb load. That, & low fat pop tarts are part of what I look forward to when needing to carb up.

Last night when I was killing myself trying to get some spill over happening I was about to make a couple waffles and drown them with syrup but dinner was already made and the kids would have stopped eating to try to get involved with my waffle action. I use this sweet potato pancake / waffle mix it is off the chain! Tastes like those sugar waffle cones and makes the whole house smell so damn good!

Okay so you don't want to hear about the 2 lbs of custom made carrot cake with hand whipped home made cream cheese icing?

Haha I like how you refer to that. LOL It is Carb Back Loading and it works and is based on science. I am actually gonna be giving it a shot here for a little bit after this little competition is over. I will give it about a month or so and see if I can recomp to a little bit leaner with it.

Thanks everybody. I am going to take a week or two of down time before I go all in on the CBL stuff. I am ready for a more relaxed diet for a bit. I will probably hit up CBL in a couple weeks, or more than likely do a dumbed down version of it for a bit. Basically keep carbs pretty damn low all day then hit up the bulk of my carbs for the day in the evening meal. For the next two weeks though I will be doing my basic estimations of 75-100c on burn day and 150-200 on a build day. When I go more towards CBL I will probably be more along the lines of 50-75 on burn days and 300-400 on build days. I will get with Tom to help me line some things out with it when I go full on.

I will probably try to get with him shortly and see if he can give me some ways to make it easy to get started.

Now for the pics. Lighting is messed up but no big deal.

You came a damn long way and look great. I can't wait to see how you look in July. I will keep leaning up but at a relaxed pace. I really don't see me doing a show this year unless it is a Muscle Model / Physique show in the fall, something I could get around 5.5-6% and be good for the stage, practice peaking a bit more and then bulk a little for a show later next year.
Wow Kleen you look incredible bro nice work!
Thanks LTL! It has been fun.

I have to admit I would not have made the same progress this past 8 weeks if I didn't have you guys making solid progress every week. I either had to tow the line or get left behind. Gentlemen it has been a pleasure!

So not too much to put in here, I took last week as kind of a break from severe dieting, and took the weekend off completely from dieting. I would even say I carbed up this weekend but there was no water restriction or anything. I did not avoid anything like fats or salts or any of that this weekend. I did make sure that my protein intake was around 300 each day this weekend. I treated last night as kind of a last hoorah of sorts before tightening my diet back up a bit. I am still contemplating the Carb Back Loading thing. I know I want to try it out and I think that I am in the perfect shape for some recomposition. I may very well go for it I just don't know if I want to go into a keto diet right now for 10 days. He said we could do it without that and I know my body is good at burning fat for energy because of my fasting so I am pretty sure I can get away without doing it.

Tom recommended starting at 500 grams of carbs if I am not going to do the 10 day keto portion to find out what my carb reload should be. He was telling me that the people who do really well on this actually have more carbs during the load and the ones who try to go in moderate like 300-400 grams are not getting as good of results. I was reading the site and it looks like Kiefer recommends no carbs on non training days. So It would end up being an average of around 250 grams of carbs a day.

Oh by the way guys I hit a major PR this weekend. Jeff was down and saw it. My highest weight for a widow maker set on squats is 245x20, this time I had 275 on the bar and the goal was 12 below parallel reps. I got to 12 and felt really good so I went for 15, it was definitely getting harder but I had more in the tank so I made a leap of faith and decided I was going for it! I was going to see if I could muster enough intestinal fortitude to finish it out as a widow maker set since it was my last set for the day. On number 18 I was completely questioning any and all rationale that had gotten me to the point of attempting this feat. I stood the with the weight on my back trying to breath for about 5 seconds and lowered myself again. Wow that was a bitch, WAIT I STILL HAVE TWO MORE REPS!!!! I manages to lower myself again and push back up through the sticking point to my own surprise. I take a few more deep breaths and lower myself into the 20th rep, I honestly have no realistic expectations of making it back up under my own power. I feel the dip in the hips when I passed parallel, you know where it changes the musculature being used. With everything I had I fired back up out of the bottom of the rep. My explosion carried me up to just above parallel, no farther, I was going to have to dig deep and fight for every one of the next 24 inches of ascent. Easily the final ascent too me more than a few seconds. Just barely moving, slow and steady, giving it everything I had I finally locked out took one step forward leaned into the rack and then held onto the bar so I would not fall. My head was pounding like I had a tympani drum being beat inside my head with every pulse. I clung to the bar for a bit and got my bearings then waddled to the sauna for a little relaxation and stretching.

That is 30 up from my heaviest widow maker. I am so proud of that. I think I may see if I can keep on climbing with the high rep sets on squats we will see. I still have to make my next program up or select which one I want to use.

Below Parallel Squats - 275x20 = FUG AN A!!!!
