I like fish occaisionally ... every day and I start to lose my taste for it... that's when I opt for less strong tasting fish...

Just about to get ready to hop on the plane... weather here is terrible hope it's better in Toronto..
 
Final decarbed weigh in was 190.5!! now I am going to go eat some pancakes!!

I should gain 12=15 lbs and keep about 7 for the show if everything goes perfect... 197.5

I estimate my body fat at around 4.2% under 5 anyway...

Anyhow I have striations everywhere!! in my chest down the back of my arns, in my shoulders and obliques.. my legs are very cut also...Just have to put the cherry on the cake!!

That sounds incredible Doug! I think you are as ready as you can get! Go out there big and ripped and destroy the competition. Your journey to now has been very inspirational man!

Love reading this Doug, you have fought the good fight and deserve a great showing on stage. Hope all goes well with the carb up and flushing in the next 24. Visualize the win constantly and it will become a reality! Can't wait to see the pics Doug, I am sure we are all going to be very surprised.

I know you guys muat be aching for news, well I did not win but I almost stold the whole show ... yah there's a story...

First of all I ran into the same situation as last year I was the only one over 45 which is the Masters.. They changed my category to accomodate a 44 year old so here I was again behind the 8 ball... But I was not the same lame old fugger I was last year!! I watched the guy practice posing and I knew if I could come in strong I could get him.!! I swallowed a couple scoops of N2KTS and some creatine nitrate and went to work... I got a great pump and found a place on the backstage wall where I could do some really good pullups...

On stage I purposely delayed hitting my poses to guage crowd reaction and I know I was getting most of the response and it was the women that were responding.. cool, I know I posed well and my arms and legs were much bigger than his...I milked the crowd for all it was worth and hoped for the best.

Now it just so happens that my wife was sitting behind the judges and she heard them say to the guy who picked up the results that it was not a unanomous decision .. damn I knew it was going to be close!!

Turns out he got the decision and he went to win the overall ... and I know if I would have won I would have won the overall as the masters was the strongest division... I was big I was lean and striated and I posed like an animal.. I have no regrets...

There were some women behind my wife that were catcalling me, my wife turned around and said hey that's my husband, the girl said well he's still hot and I'd take him home lol he won the show I won the ladies... oh and there was a woman judge so I am guessing that's where the vote came from... I feel really good about that and at 53 I almost stole the whole show!! Pics should be coming next week sometime...

That is awesome man. Stinks that they had to accommodate the younger guy and not show respect to there elder. But never the less. You have made me and I am sure many others proud. You are such an inspiration to me personally. Cant wait to see the pics when posted. Once again Congrats on your results.

Awesome job Doug !!! I'm 47 gonna be 48 in Feb ... thinking of doing my first show next Nov (13 months) ... your an inspiration and I can only hope to be able to come close to what you have done !! Great job !!!!

Yah I am just glad I could really make it close... I got stopped by a couple young women on the way out and they told me that they thought I was awesome, I was really impressing the women at the show so I am good with that lol

As long as you are happy with the results Doug, then you should be very proud. You gave someone 9 years your junior a run for his money, well done!!! Sounds like you would have not been a lonely man after if you were not married either ;).

Congrats Doug, sorry to have been absent. You know how chaotic things can get. Hope all is well and you have enjoyed some good grub! Thos sandwiches you talked about sounded awesome. Of course the ladies loved the Silver Fox, I don't think that was ever in question! I am happy that you closed the door on your career with a performance and condition that can carry you on with pride!

From this picture alone your legs were way better than his, the rest I would have to see different poses to give you honest opinion, but you look amazing, nothing short of AMAZING Bro, congrats!

The other guy looks like he has gyno... I would be interested in confirming that from another angle but Doug looks leaner just from this view. Also, you legs are better clearly and so are your abs.

He actually had a solid chest pics are not doing him justice in this department... I was a little leaner and better legs and arms ..he also had good abs...

I hear everyone saying Wow and awesome and that is amazing for 53, I say it is amazing for any age, what I have seen you accomplish is simply amazing no matter what your age is, you need to post your before pictures Bro, I'm talking from like 6+months ago, so people can see what you have truly accomplished. Again, I don't care the age, you are an inspiration to us all, you have incredible knowledge, dedication, my favorite (consistency) and you share these qualities with everyone, so I Thank You Sir, Job well done my friend!

Thanks so much guys ... Feels good that people respect what you have accomplished. I won't deminish them with false modesty, I am very elated on how well I did, I was way older than anybody there and I almost stole the whole show. I won the crowd and many thought I should have won but like I said that's a judgement call and I am not unhappy with the outcome.

Back to the gym tomorrow ... no supps for me for a while .. well maybe some N2KTS but my supply is low...

You said it, I will probably look into HRT in a few years... bit more of a hassle here in Canada, there are clinics but you have to pay for them I think but my insurance at work should cover it and the meds...
