Nice logging. I wanna learn more about this diet - I'm kinda skeptical but keeping an open mind.
Nice update and workout bro! You are dropping weight like a bad habit!! Good job!
I wish I could do the low cal's thing, it would def help me shed some fat. It's getting so hot down here in Alabama, that I've found myself not eating as much. All I do is drink tons's of water adn light sweet tea. JD I'll have to visit one day so you can school me on these circuit workouts bro, I've never done one before.

If you do one of those in the Alabama heat you might die. :scared:
Still looking good JD. You're beginning to get my interest in this diet but I can't wrap my head around adapting it to my schedule.
Man tell me about it. I was at work this week outside on concret doing cascade trailers. You could stand in one section and just sweat to death. Were just now getting into June, so it's gona get much worse soon.

Why exactly CAN'T you do the low cals thing? Is there a medical condition that keeps you from eating a lower calorie diet? Not to be a d!ck but if there is not a medical condition keeping you from doing it, then please refrain from statements like I wish I could. If the only thing holding you back is your own will power then you are just going to have to suck it up man! Think of it this way a man in a wheel chair can rightfully wish he could run. However a man who has working legs wishing he could run for exercise is an afront to those who really cant.I wish I could do the low cal's thing, it would def help me shed some fat. Funny, if that were my wife I would have her grinding on a completely different rod. I'm just sayin...
O man today is frustrating, my ankle was hurting last night during boxing but just fought through it, well when I woke up it was sore but not too bad, well the more and more I walk the more it's freaking killing, it kills so much to walk, I'm just icing my foot and relaxing for the rest of the day, I did wanna do a workout of some sort but the foot is killing and my lower back is aching, so I say **** it Im takin the day off lol.
Really hope I didn't tear more ligaments in my ankleso sick of my back and ankle.
Unless you had a slip or a fall or twisted it really bad, I highly doubt anything is torn, I know I'm thinking about it like a CHIRO, but hey what can I say, that is how I think, I wish I could take a look at it for you, bet a good adjustment, some electrical stimulation to the ankle ending with some ice and by tomorrow you be good. Just remember this Acronym RICE (R=rest, I=ice, C=compression, & E=elevation) that is probably the best thing you can do for it right now, hope ya feel better Bro!
really good advice!!!
Thanks for the REPs, I learned that in school that is PT-101, simple, but works very well!!!

I already had an MRI on my ankle and it showed 2 ligaments were completely torn, I have an appointment with a surgeon mid june, I first torn **** up almost 7 months ago now, seemed like it started hurting much less and just got back to running last week, so I was thinking of not going because I don't want to be out for another 3 months after surgery. Im hoping it's not messed up again and maybe just irritated.
go to the damned appointment and get it done-if you mess around God only knows how long it will take to get in the next time!!! :frustrate
I just don't wanna be out for another 4 months. I'm feeling pretty good right now, I'll rest the foot for a few days and see how it feels. If it still hurts I'll go to the appointment. Need that lower back to strengthen up and get back to the MMA gym :frustrate
:scared: I hate injuries lol

Nice pics brother you can tell the hard work had been paying off. I hope that your ankle and your back too get healed and well. I just home from a softball torney from 7 pm Friday to 245 am this monrning. I'm hurting like hell lol.
Great picts Bro, I can see some definite improvement, it is a marathon, not a sprint no matter how much we want it to be, seriously, it takes time, dedication and consistency! Keep on... Keeping on!
Next, I was unaware you had a previous injury to that ankle and already had an MRI showing two completely avulsed ligaments, you should have corrected me and informed me of that. I am in total agreement with theBigT, go to the appointment, get it done, it is never going to be a "good time" to be injured and from everything I know about injuries, the sooner you get them taken care of, the quicker you recover and the closer you get to being 100% again. If you wait too long, it might be a more complicated surgery, way more scar-tissue, take twice as long to recover and instead of healing up to 95-100% it only heals up to 70-80% because it had been left damaged for so long. I'm not trying to be an A$$ and scare you bro, but I just want to see you do the right thing for your body and be happy with your decision, not regret it!
Thanks!
Ya I know, I've had a long time to think about now, I really just want to get back to the mma gym and compete more then anything, but I will go to the appointment and see what he has to say before I make a decision.
Now I have to head out for a 12 hour shift lol, will be bringing some NTBM protein bars to work![]()

Hey JD. You did a great job man. Whether you're as lean as last time doesn't matter. You weren't injured last time! Nice work! Your back definitely leaned out well.
Man wiuth a messed up ankle you need to be VERY CAREFUL if you go back to MMA training. A minor or incorrectly applied ankle lock or just a roll of the ankle in a shuffle cant do alot of damage to an already weakened ankle. Get a good ortho ankle wrap that laces up and where it at all times when training for a good while then only when rolling, or sparring. That or tape it up.
Nice results!
Back in town JD, what the hell happened!?! Get well, don't do anything that will cause long term damage. Trust us old folks, it really isn't worth it. The most important thing is avoiding injuries, and recovering completely if you do get injured.
