what BCAA product do you use?

have any of you tried body mortar? i did a log of it, its pretty good. looks like alot of u are saying xtend

I would go with Recoverpro for the best bang for your buck 125 servings of quality 4:1:1 BCAA's. Its like bulk...but delicious haha.

my bad, i didnt see u posted the servings with the price. why doesnt TF carry this? ive never ordered on nutra before. how much would shipping be for this?

Nutra is pretty good and I've never had any problems with them. I have had problems with SW and TF both and will never support either again.

appreciate it easy, but I'm not interested in samples. Taste doesn't really bother me as long as the product works. Thank you though.

I'm currently using modern bcaa intra-workout and loving it. I have the blue raz flavor and it tastes great.

Has anyone tried Allmax Aminocore? That's at a decent price with a bunch of servings, something to look into as well.

Send me your info too. It's an easy way to see how great RecoverPro tastes and how well it mixes.

you already got a customer my man, i've used recoverpro for roughly the last 18 months, i didn't think it could get much better but if you guys say you improved it, i believe it

Id say go with recoverpro OP, for price. BCAA are in the end bcaa. Your not asking about some special formula or whatever, when i run out of xtend/bulk ill be buying recoverpro for the price. You want a complete intra-wo try sizeon or intrabolic. Purple wraath or MAP are also good.

Not sure what this guys talking about. I have grape bubblegum....open the jar and hardly smell anything except grape. The taste was a little tart so I add just a little Birch sweetner and it's fine. The mixability is GREAT if you FOLLOW the instructions....use room temperature liquid and it works fine. Modern BCAA is good stuff though I see a lot of folks like Extend.

Body Mortar has been my mainstay since late 2009.

I started off with xtend being the first kind I ever tried, but it's too sweet for me. Especially to drink while training. If it is too sweet it can make my stomach upset and in general doesn't help quench my thirst.

yeah. BM is pretty legit. 4:1:1 and great taste....

what about ON aminos? pretty new product. im new to BCAAs really. ive taken xtend before, but not on the regular basis. i am trying to find a staple. best bang for my buck

I dont think they have a new amino product out

Aminos depend on what you want, whether it be intra or bulk. There are quite a few differences...especially with additional ingredients.

ya they do. its called Amino Energy by ON

Thats not new. Also make sure to check the dosages in a product you are interested in ;)

A better bet would be something like Purple Wraath or Core ABC. Nicely dosed products...altho I wouldnt consider glutamine worthwhile in any way for bodybuilding purposes, I wouldnt turn it down if the rest of the product is well dosed

Recoverpro for me awesome tasting like the ratio's... New Raspberry is awesome..

I'm actually going to be trying Red Raspberry RecoverPro pretty soon, Doug - it will be logged in my training/supplement journal. BCAAs are so essential for me, especially since I don't use protein powder for any supplemented protein, and I LOVE fruit, especially berries, raspberries one of my favourite foods :yup:

Also btw, I'm pretty sure Assault does not have BCAAs.

Actually, it does, and the latest reformulation - Green Apple, the non-stim version coming, and future batches of all caffeine-inclusion flavours - contains even more.

MusclePharm is also bringing out a separate amino acid product in July as well.

AX AXcell and Body Science BCAA, both great tasting BCAAs in 4:1:1 ratio, which I use all year round..

I use Recoup (orange) now and I like it.

I've used Xtend (multiple flavors) I liked it with the rest of the world.
I've used Body Mortar (Blue Raspberry) not really a fan of this one. Taste is ok but it contains a lot of sugar....

purple wrath actually made my stomach really upset when i took it a while ago

How long ago did you take it? There have been reformulations along the way.

Most people find that it is actually more calming on the stomach (at least from what Ive heard recently) due to the inclusion of ginger root

Grab some free samples from my sig and see if it treats you better

well long story short, i ordered free samples when i first joined AM around 2008 and never got them so ordered again, but since i ordered twice in a 6 month span or something like that, it cancelled both orders. so i emailed the head rep or whoever for CL and he said he sent me some but never came. i forget if it was on my old screen name or not. anyways, ill be sure to check out the profile.

Totally this ^^^^^^. I love CF Body Mortar I tend to go through it pretty fast as I take it in the morning for cardio then Pre-work out/Intra. then I have some with dinner. I love the taste and the Profile is good.

Put in to get some samples. If for some reason there is an issue, or you dont receive them in ~3 weeks, PM me. Ill make sure to get you some samples

I'm going to have to give Purple Wraath a shot sometime

I'm going to have to give Purple Wraath a shot sometime

Pick up some samples from my sig

The lemonade tastes awesome. Biggest difference I have found between Wraath and other BCAA products out there is a noticeable increase in endurance due to the endurance complex.

Might as well give it a shot since the samples are free :)

I'll do that...thanks!! :)

RPG by MST....'nuf said.
thanks for the love brother! Im actually surprised it hasn't been mentioned more. I guess partially because it's a newer product and partially because the price is a bit steeper than the competition. However, it is ajinomoto bcaa's with EAA's and some other goodies added like the free radical destroying antioxidant blend.

i hate the taste of it, and when i open the jug my wife complains of the smell. will not buy again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

btw-it gets a 1 out of possible 10 for mixability.:grumpy::grumpy:

not happy with this purchase at all!!!:grumpy:

Agreed!. The stuff is NASTY!. Plus its definitely not worth the money for the amount of product you get!

Yah how could the price be bettter...

Well the Xtend does have 1 gram of Citrulline Malate in each 2 serving scoop. Thats 90 grams total. You can get RecoverPro for $39.99 for 125 servings and add almost a gram to each serving by purchasing a $12 100gram bottle of Nutra bulk CM. That would add up to $51.99 without shipping costs. Or you could get a bottle of Xtend which already has the CM in it for $45.95 which is $6.04 cheaper.

I've been using xtend for a while. I enjoy it and I'm going to add in some BCAA powerchews when I get them also.

Recoverpro is 750g Bcaa and Xtend is 630g Bcaa for the same price pretty much. Id say from a strictly bcaa point of view recoverpro is cheaper.

I actually just started a log on the new RecoverPro. I will be comparing it to other BCAA's that I have on hand such as Xtend, MBCAA, Recoup, ect. If anybody is interested you can find it here: Invalid Link Removed
