I am using a pitcher's rosin bag. Basically the same thing regarding what it does for the grip. Dries it out so you can really cling to the bar. I can get away with using this at the gym where chalk is banned so it is what I just started using. Right now it is conditioning the skin more so than the grip. I didn't feel my grip was going to fail but wasn't sure my skin was going to remain attached to my hand either. As the skin toughens up in that area I will really see where my grip can take me.

I know you said it is not your grip, but check out this thread I started and I'm thinking about either adding a log to the thread, trying to increase my grip strength recordable by which # of "CAPTAIN of CRUSH" I can close, anyway, kind of relevant so check it out... Good Info!

I have a Trainer, #1.0, #1.5, & #2.0 and I love them, they work awesome if done daily, the Log I was hoping to run is to see how fast I can get to the #2.5, then #3 and so on! I mean they say that only a hand-ful of people in the entire world can actually close a #4 (365 Lbs) of gripping strength!
 
I really need to do more research on all this controlled fasting stuff, it such a foreign concept to how I have always dieted in the past, here for education!!!

I've started IF as well and have been reading extensively on it elsewhere. Some brilliant stuff on the subject. It makes great sense. When you ad IF with Wyked....watch out!

My Son had a crazy grip, can't remember what he did though but set some kind of record at his school for grip strength. I guess they had a machine that measured it or something...

We used to have a Hand Dynamometer <Invalid Link Removed>in my Chiropractic office, it is a fairly accurate way to determine grip strength, which was chiropractically relevant because if one hand was more than 10 Lbs stronger than the other (usually the dominant hand is 5-10 Lbs stronger) then it would help prove an already suspected nerve impairment on the side of the overly-weak side. We also coupled this test with bilateral muscle testing of other upper extremity muscles and X-Rays before we would come to a final conclusion/diagnosis of nerve impingement.

Yeah, those should cover you well enough. Even though I mentioned caber in the previous post, I don't really think you'll need it. I've ran injectable tren and deca also and didn't need caber.

You'll be fine. Vitamin B6@200mg. nightly and maybe a low dose of vitex@500mg. should suffice nicely.

I haven't we got it for something and my wife did not end up using it. I read it had negative effects on libido though while looking it up. Good idea on the LDopa and I have a ton of 1-3C too.

Upper Body 12 Reps 5/5/11

Man today was a great day for a lift. I wanted to spend a little bit talking about WYKED. I am doing well taking 1.5 scoops at this time. I was actually really dragging my ass this morning and although at first I did not feel the RUSH of energy by the time I did my warm up and began to move my intensity peaked out of it's hiding place and it was go time!!!

I really do like the feel and focus of WYKED, it gives plenty of energy but not so much that I find myself over stimmed. Each time I have lifted using it I have enjoyed my workout and my focus on the slower reps is really helping me. Now I want to talk about the pump I get off of WYKED. Well to say the least I am getting WYKED pumps. My chest, back, shoulder, and arms we all just swollen and pumped to the gills today. They were so pumped I could feel the muscles damn near stretching under the skin. I can't imagine what I would have looked like if I had been full of carbs.

Definitely enjoying the workouts with WYKED and these are not high volume or high reps workouts but the pump would make you think that were the case.

All exercises 12 reps, 2-1-2 tempo on lifts.

BB Bench - 115, 155, 170, 170x11 - more reps at 170 than last time.
Chin Grip Pull Downs - 90, 120, 125, 130 - up 5 lbs
Military Press - 65, 100, 105x11 - up 2 reps
Curls - 75 - up 5 lbs
Dips - BW+30 - up 5 lbs.

So basically I am still improving in every aspect while at the same time really enjoying the WYKED. Lets see what else transpires while we are waiting on the Progestin to come in. THen I will create a new log detailing the WYKED and the Progestin.

1.5 scoops wyked is a good dose. I was using 3 heaping scoops and am now down to 2 scoops. If I do a second cardio session later in the day I'll have another scoop but 1.5-2 scoops is all I need since I'm working out before work now.
 
So this week has been a bit off on the cardio. I just felt like my leg needed the week of less cardio and this made the second day I did not get up to do it in the morning. Interestingly enough although I can't say I made progress for sure I feel like my abs are looking pretty good considering I am holding more weight for sure. Those thousands of calories worth of Yard Ritas at buzzfest. Pure sugar! Basically a slurpee with alcohal in it.

As for today, and maybe most other Fridays, My boss typically buys a big lunch for us out of his own pocket no less... So I am thinking in order to not be antisocia with the team, I may just only eat one big fast breaking meal then a very small meal tonight. to keep my calories low for the day. I figure if I hit 1000 cals at lunch and another 500 tonight I am golden. I am not getting ready for a contest or anything so making this adjustment for my lifestyle enjoyment is not an issue to me. If I happen to have a 2000, or heck even 2500 calorie day it isn't really going to hurt me much in the overall picture. However I will make an estimation of what I need to eat in th evening off of the selections I am provided with and eat from the lunches. He takes pretty good care of us and no reason for me to deny myself of the feast when it is at my normal fast breaking time anyway.

Only once I obtain my goal for how lean I want to get. I see no reason not use this opportunity to recomp and lean up that much more quickly. I am already doing a good job recomping now so adding this in should really just amplify it. I will definitely adjust once lean enough to worry about trying to add scale weight again. However the goal is still to get to about 6% over the next 2-3 months. Maybe faster but I am not sacrificing muscle for speed of weight loss.

Yeah I really like it. I think I may just see what 2 scoops is like some time but for now 1.5 is money for me. Just the right amount of stims, focus, endurance, and the pumps are extreme for me so far.

I think with stims the lower you can get away with the better cuz sooner or later your resistance is going to increase and then they just stop being fun...

True, and I learned a while back that being overstimmed for me actually causes me distress during the workout. If working legs it will get me down right pukey. Just not worth it but I don't think 2 will get me there and wouldn't be my regular. I just find that when I don't chase the speed then I never really notice too much of a decline in the efficacy of the products. However if I keep trying to get more and more I run through a product more quickly and don't feel as satisfied.

It's diet products like OEP that made in resistant,cuz you have to take them every day. On lean gains I am energetic all the time, that may change when in more of a defecit... by the time that happens my adrenals will be back to normal, or close to it.
 
Definitely. I am about to try Dexaprine but will only use on my resting days. I plan to alternate between that on NWD, and GDA's on WOD when eating a much higher caloric intake. No need to try to leach fat from the cells during an anabolic event the fat will simply be redeposited since so many other substrates are available for energy there. That will make that one bottle of Dexaprine last up to 4 months if 1 pill actually does the trick, and what 3 months if I need 1.5. Still a good deal since I got it on sale.

Maybe I will add the protein powder, to some cottage cheese with some splenda and a mixer to see what kind of desert like treat I can come up with... Worst case if it doesn't taste good I am out 2 bucks but if I come up with something yummy then it is WELL worth it. More than likely though I will add some low carb yogurt to the cottage cheese and just drink a couple scoops of protein and call it a day.

damn-that actually doesn't sound all that bad! i hated spinach as a kid, but as i got older i acquired a taste for it-although my favotite is brussel spouts.

Chris, do you count your protein grams per day?

When training intense or dieting hard, like contest prep, I always say keep it a good 1.5. Other times on deloads and when not training as intense I think it can go down some.

I normally shoot for no more than 1.25 of body weight. The 1.5 is generally used recommended for LBM not bodyweight. I typically just stick to somewhere in between 220-240 grams a day. I estimate now when going through my day as I am not weighing my food but I definitely keep track of what I have eaten and know about what is in everything. Now on a contest diet I would be more vigilant to make sure calories are spot on but I can make progress is any diet scenario with 200-240 grams of protein. However going off of the thermic effect of food from now on I will probably add more protein during bulking or dieting not so much for how much the body needs but that the body burns more digesting it.
 
Trap Bar Deads 295x20

Well I just finished up my Trap Bar Deads, managed all of them again without any grip assistance other then using my rosin bag to keep hands dry. It was a little more challenging today however I don't forsee me having too many problems at 305 next time either. I am still sure that with some pauses I could hit the 315 for 20 but we will find out as I continue to progress. If 305 is pretty hard I may slow my rate of adding 10 lbs to the bar per workout to only adding 5, if not I will start doing that after 315. Doing deads twice a week every other week doesn't give a ton of time for recovery once things get ball busting hard so the weight jumps will need to become smaller and smaller until in the 1 lb range.

Here shortly I will go to the gym with the wife and finish off my legs with leg press, calves and them some abs. I am curious if switching the place of deads being first is going to effect my leg press much at all or have no effect. If it crushes leg press I may just do my deads as a separate workout later in the day on all of my leg days instead of just the ones during the week.

I personally keep them separate, but hey, switching it up for a few workouts and going for variety is a good thing! Just because it may hamper your leg workout this time around, doesn't always mean it is slowing down your over-all progress. Ya know what I mean?

I have always wondered about how much protein you should really be getting. There are so many different takes on it, and all of them seem to make a valid point, but it leaves too much variety in the answers to really find the right or true amount. I've always tried for a 1.5 gram per pound minimum just because I would rather have a bit too much than too little, but it can be difficult to achieve that on very low Cal days, so I'm glad you put your side to it out there...
