Ok so as i stated above, i didnt sleep hardly again last nite, my pops had a seizure this morn, and then to top it off, i get to the gym, start warming up and my left shoulder starts to hurtin! So i gave em a real good stretch which helped but still hurt if in the wrong movement. So i kept it mostly "light" today and did the high rep game. All reps went up so im happy! Everything felt soild and pretty easy, atleast till the end heres why.............

There are these 2 guys who started coming in about 2weeks ago, real pretty boi lookin, doing half reps on almost everything, cursing out loud thinking there BA. Well they just leave the weight racked and walk away. Like they did BB shrugs with 275 for a couple reps then walked away. So of course i had to use the BB cause the others were taken so i had to unrack it. Now guys, dont get me wrong, im not mad about that, im bent cause they ALWAYS leave there ish there. They never unrack or put things back like the DBs! Ive already had to unrack there weight 5times since they started coming in. Not to mention 2 of the BIG Mother Fers in our gym was watching them on bench yesterday while they were resting and one of the guys out loud said if they keep looking over here im goin to go slap em :rofl: Yaaaaa Riiiight!

I know... I almost said something today. I was tryin to keep my cool. Aggression hit like a mother trucker at that point... I just wanted to focus on my weights and not get distracted. I think someone said something cause when i was walking out one of the trainers said thanks for unracking the weight.

Ya. Im feeling it no doubt even tho i didnt "go heavy" per se. Sometimes its a nice change having days like this. I just dont want shoulder injurys!

Teg, you definitely need to handle the weight racking situation. The gym is your domain as the alpha male. I actually look forward to guys not racking weights. I ask very politely the first time... Usually they are so ashamed they apologize and do it. Just make sure a couple other people hear you tell them. You'd be surprised how much people will support you when you lay down the law like that.

Not putting your weights back is f*cking completely bush league.
 
On the real though...you need to handle that. I usually go the route Timber goes but if they get snappy it's on. Don't f*ck with me, ESPECIALLY in the gym...:twisted:
 
Ya, and your both right and, i know it. Never really had any probs with guys not unracking there weights, or cursing outloud in an open gym and being disrespectful. Just kinda not used to the whole not being considerate thing this repeatedly. Especially from yesterdays lil spout off to the 2 of the bigger guys in at that time who have been there longer then me! Which just tells me they are looking for trouble/are trouble makers. If they spout off i cant do nothing about it cept say something to the GM or ASM.

I wouldnt mess with any of you cats. And ESPECIALLY not in the gym were there is some heavy things to be bashed in my head! :lol:

If the same happens tomarrow ill ask nicely cause today i was NOT IN THE MOOD! Sorry for bringing it up, just had to vent a bit.....

Honestly though dude, its not even an anger or aggression thing. It's a respect thing. I guaruntee if one of those fools swings on you if you politely bring it up, some BIGGER dude will have your back.

And if they swing on you, you wont see them back at the gym.

And i know its not a aggression issue, per se, but it is when you wanna go off on someone and dont think clearly. Which is another thing so i dont go about it the wrong way ya know.

Who's skull do you have to crush to get some respect around there. There obviously idiots so the only thing to do is to take a crap on their car or somthing if your not gonna initiate some sort of convo like "hey man can you put those weights away?" Id personally make a kind sincere verbal attempt followed by a violent physical confrontation ending in naptime.

Hey the best thing to do is to shrug it off we all got waaay more important things to worry about in our lives than a few choches. But hey when your on the mones.... :hitit: :684: .

Lol naw. but i will admit sometimes im worn out from working out like for legs. I just dont feel like unracking all those weights..... lol. i know lazy. But dumbells are always placed back on the rack.

You're that guy huh? :nutkick: I would be lazy if I had my own gym like AZ. Actually I prefer a plate be left on most bars, but that's just because it saves me a trip to the tree, but honestly that's not what most people at the gym need. I think it would be fun to work out at a gym like Metroflex in TX where guys are just throwing plates and benches around like frizbees. At least that's what it seemed like in the branch warren DVD.

Plus im just helping everyone out on there workouts. haha. Plus i always look for the bench, leg press, etc. that has weight on it so i dont have to load it up. Its funny how this drives everyone up the wall. I could care less, im just listening to my music and glad im working out.

That's cool if you and all the other guys at the gym need a plate (big deal)... what if a lady wants to get in the power rack next... and she takes out the front row of her teeth trying to unload YOUR rack?

It's weak man. People can squat a few hundred pounds, then are too damn lazy to unrack. Ppfffttt...
 
Sorry i wasnt around yesterday guys. Ended up not sleeping again, and just felt like complete ish yesterday. So i laid around and slept as much as possible and ate. But i didnt miss gym, just went late but forgot my book to write down everything and i didnt weigh yesterday either so no weight update there....

It was just Core and some Arm work anyways.... Didnt do anything great tho and just felt like crap, but i went, and i feel it today. Got a TON of sleep like 11hrs last nite! So im feeling MUCH better, cept i think i got TO MUCH lol Owell its all good!

I decided ill hit the gym tomarrow since Sun is Fathers day.

Yes! Family First! Especially since hes paralized on his left side from a stroke(long story) and has been having seizures quite often lately! So i do what i can when i can with him!!!

Gym was soild today! Eeverything weight up in reps or weight! Those Rack Chins with 10pds felt awesome and i really had a soild mind muscle connection with them and the rest of the lifts today! I was VERY happy to say the least.... And up 1.5pds! Woohoo!!!

What a day! I woke up early and thought eh, i dont have anything goin on today cept lift, so ill just get up and eat. So i did, low and behold an old friend from cali was up here, and text me sayin they were at the raceway and that it would be great to get together for a couple hrs. So i prepared a bunch of food, hit the gym, picked up a girly friend and head to the raceway!What a kick the pants nite and my friends uncle took 2nd for the over all and is first in the points lead! O and mind you i havnt seen my boy for over 5yrs!

Thanks Big Guy! Yes the back doesnt really HURT so much then it is SUUUUPER tight! I flex while bending over this morn and it like "cramps" :lol: Never had that feeling in my back before? But i like it! Been streaching it out all morn tho and it feels much better! So ya i think that WO was my best yet for back! Seemed like everything just fell into place. Strength, Weight, Mind Muscle ETC!

O Ya! Shes a spendy machine no doubt! Ive spent many nites working on that car when i was in Sacramento! He(the owner and driver) also has his "slow" car which is a mustang body tube chassis of course still and it runs the "slow" 9s lol

very nice, esp with the 10 pounds rack chins. i really enjoy rack chins, but i seem to recover from them very fast, like 15 seconds instead of the normal 30 second rest pause.

a drag car running off meth? i knew there was some good to come from making some :D

So far i've avoided rack chins cause i'm freakin heavy so just bodyweight will be hard. then again back in that direction is possiby my strongest overall muscle

Then if theres a lady that wants to get on there next ill help her unload the weight for her, so then that way i can start a convo. Obviously this is one of your sore spots. But then i have worked at gyms before and did not mind unloading the weight, and i had to unload alot of 100 pound weights...... I dont think its a big deal. But you have made your point. Oh by the way im not a douche, thank you very much for the considerate words, but since your 100% correct i guess i am.:wave2:

Seriously Gyms should have an in gym IQ test for people to be allowed to join.

Why don't you just admit that its a b*tch move not to rack your weights? I'm not mad about it, but I have lost pretty much all respect for a dude that has no respect for anyone else in the gym.

And yes, I can positively say that I have NEVER left a dumbell on the floor or a plate on a machine.
 
DAm ok fine. i guess i am in the wrong if no one will agree on me. But for my defense im not going to leave stacks and stacks of weight on a bar. There is nothing wrong with leaving a 45 plate on each side of the bar.
