I'm not trying to hijack or anything, just wanted to post about AMS's 1 Androsterone, 4 AD stack. I'm almost to the end of my 5th week using these products and I can definitely say I will use it again, probably with Decavol on my next cycle. It's helped me add 40-50 pounds on my bench press and about 100 pounds to my squats. And after reading through some of the reply threads I realized I wasn't going low enough on squats and changed that real quick. I've gotten strength gains, but not a whole lot of size, just better definition and tone. Thanks AMS for some awesome products!!!

DJ just put all this negative stuff behind you and focus on all the constructive knowledge thats been dropped in here.Put it to work for you. TexasLifter gave some great advice
'' Drop the weights to 135 on bench and squat and around the same numbers on your other lifts this video. Work on getting full ROM. As stated, people could care less about what weight you do. It's cool to you but that about it. People want to see full ROM lifts, getting as much contraction as possible, and using the supposed muscle group not leverage from bouncing. Try that man... I PROMISE much better constructive criticism and possibly compliments.

Make us proud with that next video!

Nice. It doesnt come without hard training and a good diet so props to you as well. What dosing scheme did you follow?

For the first 2 weeks I did 2 capsules 3 times a day, weeks 3 and 4, 2 capsules in the am 1 at lunch and 1 before bed after my workout. Week 5 I brought it down to 1 cap 3 times a day. I'm almost done with my second bottle of each, so I'll be going on Arom-X starting Sunday, Arom-X and Metacort. This stack has worked well for me and this is my first PH cycle.

Dj did you get some vids up for the chest and leg days? I noticed on your chest workout you said you had a vid and youd get it up last night. Cheers.

I bench 225 and touch my chest. It would really be my squats and leg press that I don't do complete form but 90 degress. Actually I did drop the weight from leg pres from 900 to 800 and went all the way down.
For your own peace of mind, post it.

not doubting you on the leg press because I have a weak leg press, but that is a huge difference between squat and leg press lifts. I can hit 405 on deadlift, 405 maybe 415 on a great day on squats, but I can only leg press like 600. I don't see how your squating of mid 200's equates to a full rep of 800 lbs.

I would say as a general rule (loosely) that your leg press is roughly 50-100 pounds heavier than your squat + bodyweight... when performed within reasonably good form.

I believe this due to fixed ROM and the lift is inverted as well as takes your core, stabilisers and trunk largely out of it.

however i may be completely wrong on this.

I think the lb difference is a little more than that swg, 200lb at least.

DJ, just because you touch your chest with the bar on bb bench doesnt mean you are using proper form, alot of guys bounce the weight off their chest which is taking the muscle out of the excercise.

you are my polar opposite. i can barely squat 200 lbs, and ATG i'm still locked at 185 or 195. for the leg press though, i bring that damned thing all the way till my knees touch my pecs, and do sets with 600 lbs. i think foot position/knee strain has a lot to do with it, though i really have no science to back that up.

Military machine pressed 250 so 45lbs less but went well behind the 90 degrees till the machine touched the metal. I did 3 sets of those at 6 reps.
Side lateral 20lbs but all the way up vs just 90 degress. 2 sets 6 reps.
back machine fly. 30lbs 2 sets 6 reps but really stretched it out.
Shurged 2 sets at 115 as normal 3 sets 12 reps but cable rose 100lbs this time 2 sets 12 reps. So I am up 10lbs on that one.

There is a lot of variance in terms of mechanical advantage on most leg press machines. I've noticed at some gyms I can lift much more weight on the leg press than at others. I also can squat much less than I can lift on a leg press, you can't really compare the two IMO.

Out of curiosity, why are you doing all of your exercises "nice and slow?" Just wondering what added benefit this has. And yes I know you're really trying to focus on form, so is that the main reason?

I haven't had a problem like this myself. But I've only taken 2 of each at any particular time, never 3. My main reasoning for not taking them 3 of each at a time was because I didn't want to deal with the headache... 2 gave me headaches occasionally, so f*ck 3. And lastly, I was informed that the half-life of these are around 6-8 hours. So, 3 doses spread out evenly keeps ya goin' all day...

Hope you have better luck dosing 1 at a time. And make sure you have sufficient fat at each dosing...

I typically do them like this to really feel them, focus on form, and get the mind to muscle connection. You can still be intense while doing it this way, its just a different kind of intensity.

Sorry to hear you got sick. Just split that dose up through day while drinking plenty of water and taking it with some food should help.

It happens. No biggie. Today I just hit harder. I will drink more water around the time I consume it. I go slow meaning my timing is 2:1.

Yeah, I've heard that slow repetitions increase mass more than quick, powerful lifts. But at the same time, quick, powerful lifts have a higher propensity to increase strength and density.

I haven't thrown up, but you can tell when the capsule has disolved. It's not burning for me just a warm sensation like right before I get heart burn, but not uncomfortable. What's your dosing scheme dj??

I mixed it up now. 2:2:2. I lifted heavy today. Barbell curled 105 all the way down 2 sets 6 reps.
Dumbell curled 40 lbs 3 sets 6 reps not hammer but regular curls.
Machine cable curled one arm 30 this time up from 20 before 2 sets 6 reps.
Tricpe push down 100 lbs I think on the one where you put your body against the back. 2 sets 6 reps. Tricep cable extention 45 2 sets 6 reps. I felt awesome today. No throw up nothing. Although on the way to the gym I got a speeding ticket. :(. Sucks. I was in a rush to go to the gym.

I use 4-6 reps because research shows you increase more GH production compared to the 6-8 or even 8-10 rep range.

Few notes I found from the 4-6 rep range.

Progressively increasing overload is a key to continual gains. Strive to better my numbers each workout as compared to the previous week by either increasing weight or completing more reps (in the 4-6 rep range) with the weight I finished with during my last workout for that body part. When I can get 6 reps on my own, it's time to increase the weight.

why dont you just run a bill star 5x5? its the same concept and probably will produce more gains that your current training. All i know is that if i had been on here since 06 I would be a monster right now.

That sucks dude, sorry to hear it. Good luck with finding a new pad. 1400 is rediculous for one person's rent here... we live in the same city. You should be able to find a two bedroom for that much... what part of SD are you planning on moving to? Staying where you are currently at?

Rent is quite a bit higher here than in Texas or most of the rest of the US.

The two of us live with her on the 6th floor to be her friend. She does not and did not understand that he won't marry her. He said she is not what a wife would be according to the bible and she disagreed. I told her I am just glad we are friends that I value our friend ship and she does not get it. She says if you value it why can't he marry me.
