More like "major dumper."
haha. Very funny.
With all the weapons you claim to have in your house I am beginning to think you have many enemies out to get you, IC.
More like "major dumper."
That's horrible man! What a bummer - I definitely wouldn't use anything that made me feel that way either. It would ruin my training sessions, and I'm sure it's putting a major damper on yours.
It's most likely the magnesium. It can be used as a laxative; so while it's an effective addition to creatine for recovery purposes, it just doesn't sit well with some folks.![]()
Yeah, man, it did put a damper on my workouts .. focus was off at times; today I just wanted to get outta the gym. Imagine doing abs when holding back and making sure you don't 'go' .. I'm gonna have my stomach recover the next couple of days.
.. I'm surprised my reaction is this bad. I wish it were different, but I'm hoping that I'll be able to incorporate one at a time starting in a week or so perhaps .. hopefully sooner.
Hel Yeah!! I'm like Conan the Barbarian. I've got weapons stashed all around the place. I've got a shotgun under the bed. Swords, daggers, and even a few battle axes scattered about. And then I have my mystic mallet, the mighty Mjolnir!! :hammer:Ya, my bro's got the pistol, I've got the shotgun. I've also got a skiv lying near my bed...as well as a nice, rusty dive knife attached to the door in my truck.
To both Irish Cannon and vikinginc....you guys are looking great in your latest photos. Now that I'm over my recent bout of sickness (stomach virus from Hel) I've got to step it up a notch. You guys are truly inspiring.
Keep kicking ass boys!!!
Just a heads up workout update...
I'll be starting my superset training tomorrow. Get ready for some intense sessions!
Ah, yes! There she is!
The Queen of Supersets!![]()
haha, not quite.
They are killer at first. Wow, it's like doing sprints for the first time. But you get used to them and they make workouts go by so much faster.![]()
Hmmmm....That almost makes me want to start fasted training tomorrow as well...
Verrryyyy interesting...The only thing that concerns me
is doing HIIT fasted. I'd be sipping BCAAs during the workout, but I don't know if that's enough to cover muscle catabolism.
I wonder if doing my weight training fasted and in superset form would be enough, allowing me to drop HIIT from my Day 1 and Day 3 workouts?...
I planned on starting the fasted training in mid-Feb with the MMV2...buuut I may need to start adjusting right now.
Hmmmm.....
Anyone? Anyone?...Bueler?...Bueler?

Maaaaaaan, all yall's is trippin'! I dun need any a yalls! Bring dat trash in here...dis is MY HOUSE!
Here's what I'm thinking...
7am : Wake up, take 2.4g 1-C, 5 BlueGENE, 10 WhiteFLOOD
Make intra-workout drink : 6 scoops GlycerGROW, 30g BCAAs, 1 scoop GreenMAG
730am : Hit weights
8:30 - 9am : Finish training, take 400mg P-Slin, have Meal 1
10 - 1030am : Meal 2
Blue Gene wouldn't really have time to 'kick,' imho. And it DOES matter, especially considering the fact that you're up, working out that early. Even the White Flood, I'd give 45-60 minutes before hitting the gym ..
Forgive me for forgetting, but what is meal #1? Do you have a post-workout protein shake?
Bro, I wouldn't train weights in a fasted state .. I'd be too fearful of muscle catabolism, like you mentioned. Personally, whenever I trained in the early AM, I'd throw down a whey shake (40-50grams) with a table spoon of PB, and then train 45-60 minutes later ...And then make sure I had an abundant supply of Xtend (BCAAs) in my intra-workout drink, and then an additional whey/isolate protein shake immidiately following your workout. Then, 60 minutes after, I'd have my lunch/dinner.
Just my $.02

Great workout today. I'll update more on it later. Right now I'm trying to choke down the protein. I must say, that Lipotropic protein is one of the most difficult proteins to drink, especially when it's mixed with everything I put in it. Like, I want to shoot myself when I drink it. That's how bad I hate it. This is LG Sciences first run of protein, not to mention it's totally different than whey and what is normally sold, so I'll cut them slack...but this stuff is bad.
I didn't think that the Chocolate was horrible. It was ok, and actually very good combined with milk. But I did think that the Vanilla was nasty. :/ It reminded me of crushed lima beans combined with stevia.
By itself it's not unbearable...but mixed with 1cup of oats and 60g of WMS it's pretty disgusting. ATW Isolate is still pretty thin and easy to drink even with all of that stuff mixed in.
HAHA yea that first batch is rough. Im stil working on 2 full tubs!!!!
Make sure keep an eye on things with the fasted training. I tried it a while back while dieting and I would go severly hypo a few times. All I was doing was 10gr of leucine before workouts with some stims but I crashed a few times real hard. Like the episodes diabetics have when their blood sugar drops too low. I felt like I was losing muscle mass too.
Im not saying it may not work, just giving you some persoanl experience. You obviously know what your body is capable of. Best of luck bro!
Also did you ever try ATW cinn w/ oats and WMS? I have been thinking about doing this for some time but am affraid of the taste?
Sorry you don't like the Lipotropic Protein, bro...
I honestly really liked the chocolate - thought it was great and went through it in no time. The vanilla could be improved, but I didn't think it was horrible.
I'm curious about those standing lat pull downs, any particular reason you perform them this way? Interesting.... Invalid Link Removed
Dude, honestly I just don't know what the freaking name for them is. It's where you stand up, grab the lat pulldown bar with arms locked out, and you just bring the bar down in a downward curve-type motion.
Sorry, I'm a moron. I don't know what they're called.
So, it's more similar to a BB pullover...
Aren't those called straight-arm pull-downs or something?
Heck ya! DW, what's up man?! Good to see you in here.
Ya, this first batch is pretty horrid. I've got a way to go on it. Eek. Oh well, I know you guys are coming out with an improved formula, so I'll wait to hear some reviews on it. This is honestly the first product I've used from LG Sciences that I don't really enjoy, but it has nothing to do with the product itself, just the taste. The actual ingredient profile is the best I've seen of basically any protein supplement.
Yes, I've tried ATW Cinnamon Bun with 1cup of oats and 60g WMS and it tastes GREAT! It compliments everything. It's still pretty thin even when you mix all that other stuff together. VERY easy to drink. I'll be ordering that again when the sale kicks off on the 1st.
I'll keep in mind what you said about the fasted training. Was I the one that turned you on to the leucine, or was that Metroba I recommended it to? I can't remember. I think it may have been Met. I actually considered using just leucine as well since it can't convert to glucose unlike valine and isoleucine. More explanation in my update...
Bingo that would be the correct answer! what do we have for him johnny? So, it's more similar to a BB pullover...

Makes you ok in my book:thumbsup:That's what I thought they were called, but I wasn't sure.
Viking, you're making this ex-surfer long for the water, buddy!

That sucks man. I need to start doing the swimming thing again. I liked after workout swims it makes you feel so good. It would usually put me right to sleep if i worked out and then swam afterwards. lights out!Lol, happy to hear it, bro!
I'm sitting here wondering what the hell I'll do when I head back to Texas in a week and a half; Gold's doesn't have a pool there, and the only one I can use would be A&M's rec center's pool .. meaning I'd have to schedule my swimming around the school's team practices. Arrgh, I see a barrier ahead here; but I need to find a solution, I want to continue with these daily swims! It's rejuvenating! Refreshing!
.. and best thing of all, my shoulder joint has gotten significantly better since a week ago when I began swimming!
I hope you'll find your way back to your wave, bro !
LG sent me the chocolate flavored Lipotropic Protein. I thought it tasted good by itself. But with oats....Well, any protein with the oats is hard to choke down for me. I just close my eyes and slam dat shit!! :lol:By itself it's not unbearable...but mixed with 1cup of oats and 60g of WMS it's pretty disgusting. I gotta find me an indoor pool. Arnold said that the only real cardio he ever performed was swimming. He swore by it. And now since you have validated it....well, I've got to hit the water!! :thumbsup:Lol, happy to hear it, bro!
