Irish Cannon Teams-Up with LG Science's T-911! (Sponsored)

Honestly, I'd probably do it if I didn't have such sensative skin. I get bad razor burn on my chest, bumps if I wax, and it grows back way too fast if I just buzz it...plus then it's prickly. Just too much of a hassle.

You know what women go through on a regular basis....

Most girls don't mind hairy guys because it is a sign of Masculinity, it's a sign that testosterone is running through their body. I see skinny, hairless guys in the gym, and I'm like, "there is a total girly-guy. I can lift more than him." On the other hand, when I see that hairy chest of Resolve's, damn, I'm done for!:p

HA! Awesome.

I'm just glad I'm not one of those dudes that has a super tiny bit right in the middle of his chest. WTF is that?! I laugh when I see dudes that leave this little patch just sitting there. That's worse than anything else.

One thing I'm happy about is that my leg and arm hair is blonde. I don't look super burly or anything there which is good.

HaHa There is this one guy at my gym that has a huge hairy patch on his right shoulder(like alot) and then his left side is completely bare. WTF? i heard in my anatomy class that is from using that side of your body way more, so it increases test flow to that side and not the other as much. whatever it is it looks wack!

Ha! That's weird. I've seen that on people too.

Looking close at your pics it seems like you have a lot more ab definition.

Woohoo! Hopefully we can keep that up.

I really think it's important that I continue with the HIIT and mod-int cardio I've been doing since I bumped my calories up.

Your buffery far exceeds my buffery. I shall tag a long and hope to steal some of your buffery.

Huge back.

Great to have you along, dude.

I've decided I'm pretty much 100% going to the upcoming Arnold Classic, and I'll be doing the 5k Pump and Run.

Deuce, let's hit up a pub one of the nights.

You bench your bodyweight for as many reps as you can. Each rep is a 30 second decrease on your 5k run time. The run is just your normal 5k.

So if I cranked 170x10, I'd have five minutes deducted from my run time.

That's crazy!!!! Hope it goes well. You have a while to prepare for it though, if it is in March.

Eh, it's more of a fun activity than anything else. I don't see myself doing too much preparing for it. Maybe I'll run 5k once a week a month prior or something, but other than that, no preparation. Just something to do while I'm there. Help me burn off all the calories from the beer if Deuce meets up with me!

Hey look it's Volcom!

Who says up the WMS pre-workout? Does anyone feel it would be beneficial? Who says up the oats? Who says keep it the same?

Personally, I'd just add some WMS into your intra-workout, but that's personal preference.

If you've stopped gaining weight, definitely throw some more oats in that post-workout meal. If not yet, I'd leave that meal as it is.

I went to pubcrawler and found some good looking joints. There are a couple in the Brewery District, not far at all from where the expo is.

I just started having my big pre-workout shake on Monday. I'll give it a little more time I guess. Post-workout is a big, solid meal. I don't think I need to change that at all.

Man that would be so much fun.

Some of the most dedicated people on the forum getting cabbaged together.

Volcom, if you were there, you would have to pick where we eat since you always eat all this crazy, exquisite stuff that always looks so good.

It appears as though you've had enough wine, Dragonfly. Give me your wings. Friends don't let friends fly drunk.

haha yeah that would be awesome. I will have my girlfriend and her young daughter with me though so I may have to do some bargaining and haggling ;)

I'll check out the pump and run too...sounds like a good event for you to partake in!

I would cut down weight just to have an easier time with the 5k. I could definitely pump out more at 155 than at 170 right now. Probably not too much though.

Day 8 Weight: 167lbs (-1lb)

I absolutely crushed my Quads today. It was such an incredible workout. My routine was...

Leg Extensions
BB Hack Squats (Resolve, you're the man!)
Alternating Leg Press
BB Squats
HIIT

I've decided to do all of my compound exercises at the end of each lifting session. This new routine is all about muscle growth, not strength, so while I lift significantly less weight at the end of the workout, my muscles get a final blow of hypertrophy. Its worked good for me in the past, so I will do it that way.

Resolve instructed me on how to do BB Hack Squats, and I have to say, they are my new favorite exercise. I was loading up the Hack Squat Machine and as I looked to my left to grab another skillet, I saw a sad, empty barbell just laying on the floor. I'm a softie and said, "Okay, okay. I'll use you instead." It was such a great exercise. I'm still getting used to the form, so I doubt the weight I used was anything spectacular, but I was getting 185x8. It felt soooo good. After my last set I collapsed and yelled, "WOOO!!!" with a big smile, and all of the regs in the gym started laughing.

The weight I was using on squats was pathetic, but I wasn't the least bit worried. I had crushed my quads for the 45mins prior to doing them, so I knew that was the only reason my strength was down. Once I got down to my fourth and fifth set, I was only getting up 245x6. I'm normally getting 335x6-7 when I do squats at the beginning of my workout. BUT, my quads were still screaming, so that kept me happy. As I said, this routine is all about growth, not strength.

The resistance on my HIIT session, or lack there of, was so pathetic. I could hardly crank it down at all without my quads giving out. I managed to grind out 10 intervals of 30/60. I'll do my best to bump it up to 12 or 13 on Ham day.

The weight decrease is something I'm very happy with, as my strength is increasing and I'm getting leaner while still keeping caloric intake higher than my previous log. I have no doubt the T-911 will help me drive more weight even though my weight is dropping a little. I also believe that pretty soon my muscles will begin to grow, and I will probably see the scale climb back up to the 169-170lbs range.

Damn bro! lookn real good in here! Keep up the hard work!!

Ya, dude. Now that I've decided to go to the AC, I've got to get myself in the best shape possible. I don't want to walk around feeling inferior all weekend...which I'm sure will happen anyways.

If you're feeling inferior...I can only wonder how i'm gonna feel

I am doing the same though...trying to pump it out tough until the Arnold.

Irish you crazeh:fool2:

I went to the Fitness Expo/Iron Man this year and I felt like a little kid. There were tons of buffaloes in beaters, posing as people.

Sounds good, man! Glad it's going well for you...or at least I'm assuming it is.

And Volc, I'm so with you on that. I feel inferior pretty much anytime I see a big dude. Even if they have 15 years of training experience on me and have done every AAS known to man, I still feel the same way.

"BIG GUYS" don't impress me much. BIG AND RIPPED and my junk shrivels like a frightened turtle.

Then you see the competitive guys and its like, wow..... but the competitors don't get me as much, it's their life to the 10th degree, but when a civilian looks stage ready, then its like, holy... instant cold pool effect.
