What's the last thing you ate??

Husband is out of town and I don't have to cook for anyone so...1 twisted cherry protein shake and a handful of almonds. That sounds really pathetic when it's typed out.
 
a half pound of cube steak pan fried with peppers and onions plus 3 whole eggs and 16oz of motts all natural 100% apple juice. and probably some oreos shortly :D
 
6 eggs (3 whole, 3 whites)
6 oz beef sausage
2 rings of pineapple
1 organic banana

100% Paleo breakfast
 
It can be a little bit messier, but worth it of you are looking for lower carbs. Besides one was prolly gonna through lettuce in it any ways right?..lol And to be honest, it gives it a cool crisp edge to it. Especially since I made them fairly spicy. I did the taco seasoning from scratch rather than use the packaged stuff. Just healthier... far less sodium, and tastes better IMO because you can mix to your palate.


I can give the recipe if anyones interested. Just let me know. I'll be in the field training till Monday though.

Why not consider subbing in Romaine instead of iceberg lettuce? More rigid/firm of a leaf and has more of everything good available in it from a nutrition standpoint. Just throwing it out there for consideration. It does look good though "as is"!

Last night, I made 1lb of salmon, 4 slices of thick cut bacon, 12 oz red potatoes, 1/2 red bell pepper, and 2 roma tomatoes for the wife and me after our Prowler session.

Went to this place called mythos in universals island of adventure. Filet wrapped in mushrooms. Side of fingerling mashed potatoes.
 
Last was about 7 scrambled eggs PWO.

Ha...my wife is 6+ months pregnant and still benching/squatting/deadlifting and generally training just as hard as before.

I just ate 9oz 95% lean ground beef and 200 grams brown rice and I'm still starving!! Eating every 4 hours instead of 2 is killing me!!! Next meal in 2 hours and it's 5 grams BCAAs... YUM!!! lol

I usually weigh my food but once in a while I just eat till im full :food: the constant weighing and calculating gets tedious sometimes

Is this the protocol you were telling me about? That you read from Norton?

Yup I like it so far but it's only Been 3 days. I'm hungry all the time lol if I ate till I was full I would get my daily micros in at one meal!!

breakfast: 4 eggs + pepper jack

post work out meal: beef stew with potatoes and carrots

lunch: roasted chicken and brown rice.

Doc says as long as she did it before, and she is not pushing for any new records, there is nothing to worry about. She is still running 30+ minutes on the elliptical 4 days a week, and weight training 3 days a week. Her weights have not increased since she got pregnant, but she has not slacked off either...just maintaining.

Yes, she has gained weight...and at the correct proportional amount.
Also, she is self driven and motivated...if anything I have to slow her down from time to time.

Last night, CHEAT night big time.
2 tamales, 1 beef enchilota, 1 beef taco, refried beans, fried shrimp, and 2 very strong margaritas. I couldn't drive home.

I bought a tub from a local health food store and was thinking of ordering my next one online and trying to see what are some solid options
 
I love it, but hate that its never really enough and unless I spend $80 on myself its not totally filling or enough calories

Lol I know the feeling! My girl loves sushi we go at least once a month, but we don't go out drinking like most people our age so we save there.

It's the raw mix from Health from the Sun. It tastes god awful, though.
 
A dunkin donuts multigrain bagel with cream cheese, 6 whole eggs, a venti triple skinny caramel macchiato from Starbucks.

Mine is awful too.. I just toss a scoop into a fruit smoothie to cover the taste.
