A caloric deficit. What's your diet like?
There are countless combinations. Do you prefer stimmed or non stim stacks?
this sounds tastey!Stand alone:-
Norcodrene or alphamine
Stacked:-
Aav2
Norcodrene
Recompadrol
Forskolin
Is it a combination of caffeine, a B-Agonist and Alpha 2 Antagonist (yohimbine?) and maybe forskolin?
Also how does Higenamine perform against other B-agonists like ephedrine? Specifically, how would something like ECY stack work vs Alphamine/Alpha-T2
Ideal is certainly different for everyone. Some do very well with Yohimbine, for instance, while others don't like the effects. Forskolin treats many well, while some will have GI issues regardless of the % extract.
Currently bulking at 3400 making very slow weight gain. I've calculated my maintenance to be around 2800+ and im starting at 2300 ish calories.
I think he means he's planning on cutting soon.So you're trying to cut fat as you're bulking?

So right off the bat you're dropping 1100kcals? I would start your cut at maintenance. I've always cut at that and through exercise and daily activity created my deficit, and it's allowed me to retain a lot more muscle mass that I had previously when cutting and starting off to low right off. Just my two cents OP.Currently bulking at 3400 making very slow weight gain. I've calculated my maintenance to be around 2800+ and im starting at 2300 ish calories.
Well yeah, that does sound like the better plan. I'm going to be lowering cals to 2800 for a week or so, and then slowly easing towards 2300-2200.Gotcha.

What's your bf%? That makes a huge diff if your 5'9" 180 at 25% vs 10%
I'm somewhere between 18%-20%
IMO you need to get to sub 15% bf before even bothering with supps or it will be a complete waste of money. Get your diet and training in check becuase it obviously is not if you are sitting around 20%.

I agree here. There's not much in the way of supps that will really help until you start getting to the "hard to lose" stages - aka 12 and below. If you can't even see your top two abs, you most likely will be wasting money. Diet is the key here. That and a bit of patience ha.
Then would the optimal plan be to cut down to 15% then start using supps? I have a stack of Alphamine, Alpha-T2 and Forskolin ready to go.
And yes I do realize that 18% bf isn't really a good place to be at. When I started the bulk I was 13% at 160. I guess I was eager to gain weight and put on 30lb with an additional 5% bf gain. However I do understand the basics about nutrition including calorie surplus and deficits, macros, micros, etc.
On a side note, how do I even use forskolin with the other two supps? 2x25mg and 2x25mg with each dose? One fasted first thing in the morning and one preworkout
I would cut a bit naturally, supp free for awhile maybe at least 6weeks. Then, once you're in your groove and starting to see things slow down, add in your supps. You can stack all 3 of those together and it should really give you a new boost at that stage. The forskolin dosing is pretty much whatever fits the person. Some can't handle more then 25mg at a time, others take 150mg all at once. I personally do 2am (fasted) and 2 pre workout (semi fasted) for 100mg total. Work your way up tho or you may be in for a week or so of rough sharts. I'd start at 50, then after a few days of no gi issues, bump to 75, then 100 same as before.
Exactly how i dose my forskolin!!!
I do 25mg 3x a day. I only use forskolin95. Anything else gives me gi issues
I think everyone is just apprehensive that someone whos is overly fat might use these products in a way that not only harms themselves but also the supplement industry as a whole.I understand that diet and training always come before supplements and I do plan on fixing these up for my upcoming cut. But with that said, are fat burner type supplements completely useless in fatter individuals (20%+ bf) or are their effects just less pronounced? If so, why?
I always thought that these supps stimulate more fat oxidation and lipolysis.

It's not that they won't help, they can boost energy levels and suppress appetite. It is the fact that most of weight loss results will come for diet and exercise. Some supplements work but produce very little results in relation to what a good diet and exercise can do.

What I have found with clients is that they are high in BF for a reason. They have an issue controling themselves. So they take a fat burner like Dexaprine thinking it is a magic pill. So in their mind it is an "excuse" to continue to be a little relaxed on their nutrition plan. In turn it doesnt do much of anything.
The other end of it, I find that when training competitors who are single digit BF (sub 7%) a fat burner can help a lot keeping energy levels up and helping to curb appetitie which is handy when getting ready for a show. From personal experience I have found that I do better loosing BF w/o supps if I am above 10%. When i get closer to that lower BF level I find that fat burners really shine.
Its not that they WONT work, its more of a "what can you do for me now". Using supps at high bf, you will still only lose at roughly the same rate as you can naturally. Most people's body's dont want to be fat (especially in a small deficit) so they can lose weight with no help at a good rate. Once you get to the lower bf%, this is where nature starts putting the breaks on your fat buning to preserve itself. Your body thinks its starving/too skinny/cant protect itself, so the progress slows and eventually stops. This is where the supps come in to give a new boost and "reenergize" the fat burning.
