All these posts make me wonder why I never became a bouncer. Always looked like it would be a fun job. :veryhappy:

I can verify this....i'm a bouncer on the weekends and chicks are on my nuts the whole time telling me i'm the hottest guy in the bar :bigok:

Now dudes on the other hand (and some ladies as well) tell me I look like famous people every weekend....I've gotten Guile from Street fighter, Zack Morris, some guy from tekken, the blonde kid from karate kid part I, etc.....

I guess that's the downside to being 6'0, blond, and in shape with spiked hair haha :toofunny:

Pulling a double sounds like a great idea. Going to go do legs here in a bit. Then have a protein shake and a sandwich. Let that settle a bit probably not as long as I should and then meet up with Mario to do arms. If I survive this might go out to help my friend Marc celebrate his birthday.

I have to get out every now and then before I become a complete hermit crab.

Plan on squatting heavy but not even going to mess with a video since I wont be able to post it anyway. Plus no idea how much I can do. Just going to play it by ear.

So I went full on Im an idiot today lol.

Squats: 405*9, 455*4 I honestly could have forced out another rep on each of these sets but I hadnt squat in a few weeks and didnt want to risk it.

Power cleans: 185*2, 225*2, 245 I failed on the 1st one and then immediately did it again and got it. I NEVER do these so this was really stupid on my part. Kinda tweaked my wrist on the 1st rep with 245.

Stiff leg deadlifts standing on 3 plates: 405*8 so 2 more reps than last time.

I dont think I had done legs since being on. These r some really good numbers for me. Idk if I can say PRs but def up there. Most I have squat is 515 and that was an out of the blue kind of thing.

Went and got a protein shake and a sandwich. Talked with Mario a bit bc his job is giving his sh1t for some dumbass reasons one of which includes me apparently lol. Cracked me up honestly. They say Im too big lol. Does that sh1t make any sense? Apparently they know I sell supplements and think since I do that Mario is on the juice :confused:

Anyway then went back to the fitness center and did arms. More volume than usual bc we ended up lifting with Ben. Might try and include him in our workouts bc he has a strong squat, deadlift, and bench. So he will def be able to push me on squat and deadlift where Mario cant. Not sure if Ben will show but worth a shot.

He is in the Air Force so his weight and all matters. BUT he is like 5'10/11" and 207 pounds so Im pretty sure he is within weight. Plus if they taped him is would pass with ease. He just has big shoulders so it makes him look bigger.

Its ur neck subtracted from waist and if thats under 20 I think u r good. That is literally it.

Haha well mine is I rattle the cage like an animal. Bump my chest against the bar and swing under the weight lol. Its kinda loud and people tend to stare but it helps me put up more weight so I dont care :rasp:

During arms my legs started to HURT. I forgot to stretch post workout and they started to seize up on me.

Psh man do I hear that! I just joined back in April. I had just finished a cycle and gained 12 lbs and was 3 weeks out of PCT. My recruiter told me I had to lose weight before I went up to the MEPS cause I was 5'5 at 171. He failed to mention anything about being taped until I had lost 7lbs! :(

Ah what can ya do though? Oh, that's right...gain it back! They can tape me all day long...I'll pass. I leave Nov 29th for basic, btw. :)

Back on topic...great squat numbers Tom! That kind of weight would crush me. Haha!

For initial entry this is the BF required to be under.
Age 17-20 - 24%
Age 21-27 - 26%
Age 28-39 - 28%
Age 40+ - 30%
After your done with IET this is what you must maintain.
Age 17-20 - 20%
Age 21-27 - 22%
Age 28-39 - 24%
Age 40+ - 26%
So next time he tells you that you need to lose weight tell him to eat a **** and to go look up AR600-9

That's army though, air force probably has different standards. Cant be too much different though.

I hate the way they calculate BF in the Army...its the most archaic method ever...serisouly eyeballing it would be more accurate. Guys who are fat as hell make tape because they have fat necks, and guys who are ripped as hell fail tape because they have skinny necks...its total bull****. Meh. Not like being fat matters in the National Guard anyway lol

Haha thanks man. If Ben decides to be serious and starts lifting with us my squat will only go up on this cycle. I had been slacking on squats but thats over. I havent put 455 on the bar since my Turinabol LV cycle I believe.

Now when I went to the gym there were some guys who made me feel week but even there squat and deadlift were neglected far too much.

Ok so next week Mario is headed to Texas to help out his sister(31). I think he will be gone all week but hopefully Ben man ups and I still have a workout partner.

Now Im taking this with a grain of salt even though Mario has been nothing but good to me but this is a little over the top. Im going to try and go verbatim here but cant promise too much. Basically while he is down there he said he is going to take pics of his sister's friends. Then when he gets back I get to pick one. Some time we will go to Texas and his sister will help hook me up with the friend I pick. I swear that is what he said. The crazy people I come into contact with :bigok:

Its like using fat gripz lol. I wouldnt mind it too much but will mess with my grip before my back gives out. Still only have 1 squat rack though :grumpy:

That's good that they finally listened and ordered some more DB's. Even if only a few of their clients use them, they still need to provide them for the big boys.

Too bad the handles are so fat though. You'll have to break out the wrist straps for them.

I really am surprised they ordered some more DBs.

Ehh Im just going to chalk up and try to man up with my grip. My hands get beat to sh1t on back day but I like having my grip work by way of heavy back work. I have a fairly strong grip but if it comes down to it I will use the straps on some sets.
 
Fat grips are so much better imo, but it kind of sucks when they order fat grips at 100+ lol...seems semi retarded
 
Nice work on the cleans and yeah, watch those wrists. My warm ups on cleans are usually more for my wrist flexibility then anything else.

I know right. The mathematical equation that is used was designed for loading ships not determining body fat.

I'm hoping by the time I transfer down there to be back up to where I used to be. Still got like 10lbs to gain back before I'm happy again and hopefully those 30lbs I lost off my squat will come back with it.

Oh man once I found out that I could be taped, I was like forget this! Hence my current cycle. ;) At my height my max weight is 165. I can push that naturally. As for initial entry BF percentages, it's slightly different in the Air Force according to About.com. If you are under 30 years old, then it's no more than 20% BF. Over 30, it's no more than 24%. Obviously females have different numbers. This is new as of October of 2004. I don't know the requirements after you're in though.

Are you going to Lackland for your training? If so that place can be a pretty good time. I did my clinical there the 1st time I was in. Lots of chicks and easy to score.
 
Yeah I leave Nov 29th for basic. And from my understanding my tech school is also there. So I won't have to leave! I was crazy excited to be leaving in Nov and not some time during the summer.

Depending on the setup it sounds like the video card or on-board graphics died. I'd suggest trying to find a spare video card and trying it out and seeing if that works.

That or a new VGA cable. Or your mainboard just died. Which sucks. It's always a b!tch trying to troubleshoot what's wrong with your computer when something craps out...especially when it's less than obvious (and I do IT for a living)

Tom is probably THEE strongest, non-competitive Dead lifter I e-know. The only other guy on this board with DL numbers like that is that USPLabs sponsored athlete who actually competes and ranked really high for (relative to BW) DL numbers.
