Preacher curls don't feel as comfortable to me, but it gives my biceps a better peak than typical curls do. Plus my damn shoulders are always taking over for me when I get tired... something I really have to concentrate on.

When i was in high school i could run 2 miles in a little less than 11 minutes. Imagine that.
 
Word... yeah, back when I fought at lightweight I was pushing 5 5 minute miles...

Now I'm really happy with 3 miles in 21 minutes or 2 in 13.
 
Yep, if I break a 7 minute mile I am really trying hard these days. I am not sure if I could do two in a row right now. In Highschool I did get into running for a year and broke 6 minutes a couple times... and yea that was at about 155lbs.

Word... 7 minutes is about 7.5 MPH which is pretty comfortable as my warmup pace. I feel like I could just continually run that for 4 miles or so. I've tried to keep my fat ass mobile.
 
I used to put that stuff away myself. Lately, I'm on an almond butter craze. I think some coconut oil will be finding it's way into the mix as well. All this talk of running has me jealous. I used to love running. Hey G, tell me running on the beach doesn't suck!
 
Sorry I've been busy lately, but I've been in and out of the forums dude. Great work. Natty PB is great! Is your cardio on the treadmill preferred over outdoors? I guess it would be over there. All dirt and sh*t.
 
Damn I feel like a b1tch with you guys talking about treadmills and running outside. I am an eliptical kinda guy. At least now I have a good excuse with the doc saying avoid impact activities. I did ignore him last weekend and had some flag football fun.
 
I mostly try to run outside, but the past couple of days I have been "forced" to run inside. More of a convenience factor.

Elliptical is great for the low impact aspect. I tried it and it just felt weird to me. :dunno:

Running is just natural for me I guess. Been doing it all my life. Baseball, track.
 
man, i never should have stopped running. my best time in service was 13:22 for the two miles - nothing spectacular for a 135 pounder, but damn if i wasn't ready to pass out.

140 at end of basic
135 for the rest of my 4 years.
ended service in 1999, and by 2005 after dental surgery i was down to 126 :(

lol,lol. I like the crossfit trainer, kind of like an elliptical and treadmill in one. Put that baby on incline 20 and start hiking. Will be sarting that tomorrow as a matter of fact:wave2:

Wed-NES-Day

My bro sent me some wrist straps from NYSC, some gym he works at. I looked like a female gymnastic whatever you call it :lol:

So anyway this morning my workout partner complained that his stomach hurt so I took the b*tch way out and went to sleep after eating breakfast. Woke up about 2 hours before work and knocked out a mean ass workout.

I used a squat rack to do my benching because I was going for big numbers today. I also didn't trust my workout partner as a spotter and quite frankly there aren't too many people I would when you have 300+ on the bar. People were looking at me like I was crazy, I didn't give a F*CK :lol:

I got eye f*cked by at least 6 females today.

Flat Barbell Bench-315*7+5+3
This was with no warm up set, nothing. On my last failure set I failed all the way to the bottom but promptly pushed that peanut back up finishing for 3 reps. PR is 385 for 5, that was about 3 years ago when i was 243 at 10%.

Deadlift- 335*9, 315*20.
My grip sucked today. Period. I was gonna go for a new PR but no. PR on widows though. After these I could get shot and not care too much. Makes life that much easier.

Front Pulldown-250*8+6+4

Money.

Skullz-155*9+6+4
I can't get past this. Eh, tri's are loving it.

Upright Row- FAIL. MotherF*cker.

I did some ghetto Clean and Presses- 155*8+6+3. Haven't done these in forever and I remember why.

Buddy of mine was going to do a cycle but he isn't now. I bought his Stoked, Cycle Support and Prime for 100 bucks. Ill be starting that in about 2 weeks when my Glycobol gets here.

No cardio today :(
 
out of curiousity, why the cycle support?

BTW 315x20 on deads is f*cking beast.
 
For the BP and cholesterol aspect of it. I had high cholesterol as a kid, my mom told me to stop eating chips and I never got checked again. I do eat a sh*tload too so I guess I'm just that much overly protective. I bought some a while ago to run yearly but the taste was freakin awful. I have a capping kit so I'll just cap everything and take it. Can't beat all that for the price ;).

The deads had me feeling like a brittle old man. I couldn't even stretch right after.
 
20 reps on deads is awesome,.. talk about feeling the burn!

Yea dude, I used CS for my epistane cycle... my first cycle... and it made me DREAD my shakes. Couldn't mask the taste of the CS. I just use Life Support now. But yea, if you cap the CS, you get like twice the dose... good call.

CS isn't that bad. I mix it with pink lemonade Metamucil (sounds gross, but isn't) and chug-a-lug... The new Cycle Assist by CEL is money. 4 caps 2x a day.

I was doing DL at 275 for 20 up until a month ago... Just back waaay off my dead volume, as I was going a little batsh*t crazy wit it...

Deads for 20 reps in flat out insane! Those front pull downs are sick as well. Oh f*ck it...you are one strong Papi. And I don't know what the hell you guys are complaining about on the CS...
