Supplemental Ara!Supplemental Ara or ARA in general?
ARA can make insulin sensitivity worse?
If anything quite the opposite. The signaling that occurs from arachidonic acid during and after exercise increases insulin receptor sensitivity, as well as igf-1 receptor sensitivity, among others.I've never heard of it doing that.
Good! Thank you!If anything quite the opposite. The signaling that occurs from arachidonic acid during and after exercise increases insulin receptor sensitivity, as well as igf-1 receptor sensitivity, among others.
I would run the X gels and glycerine first. Start X gels at 6 caps on workout days, 30 minutes before you workouts. Run until you are out. Then run the other stuff.Hi. I have the following supplements that I've bought over the past few month but have not used.
Two bottle SNS X-Gels
Two bottles OL Ep1logue
Two bottles OL Massacr3
Two bottles Blackstone labs Growth
Two bottles EPG Testo-shred
1 lb bag of Glycerol Monostearate
Two bottles of PES Anabeta Elite
Along with the normal Protein (PES Select), 12 lbs bag of NOW Carbo gain, a few bottles of BCAAS and pre workouts.
I have an idea how I was going to stack them but I just never got around to using them since I felt like my diet was not on point and I would just be wasting my money.
I am 186 lbs and about 17% Body-fat. I want to get to 200 lbs 8-10%.
I have only ever used the normal protein, creatine, bcaa etc.
Please give me some advice on how I can stack these to get maximum benefit and reach my goals. If it means I can get two seperate stacks from the above list and run them consecutively or use all together (unlikely).
I know this is asking alot from your time, but please bear with me.
Most people run ALCAR. You can run 81mg aspirin so white willow bark might work...What exactly are carnitine salts though? Is that like any form of carnitine? Or is it something specific?
Either way, from reading the thread i guess the consensus would be that the baby aspirin works better?
Is it ok to use white willow bark in its place?
Jiigzz
Baby aspirin is the best, IMO. And super cheapWhat exactly are carnitine salts though? Is that like any form of carnitine? Or is it something specific?

Aspirin instead of salts?Baby aspirin is the best, IMO. And super cheap
If you're just after the benefit of cox1 inhibition, yeah definitelyAspirin instead of salts?
Personally, if I were you, I'd start with 4 gels (recommended dosing) and go from there.Female dosing? 110lb.
The general consensus is that ArA only needs to be dosed on training days, before your workout. This allows the ArA to get into the muscle tissue more effectively due to the stimulus from training. There is little to no benefit with dosing on off daysThis has so much info, it’s insane. Everything makes sense here so thanks for all the mind blowing knowledge. My small question though: what’s the consensus on off days? Dosing or not dosing? I’m taking the ARA by enhanced athlete with my PWO and it feels amazing, definitely sore. Was just wondering about off days. I usually do 5 on with weekends off. I follow a Keto diet weekdays and carb refeed on weekends. Any advice would be much appreciated. TIA.
That’s what I was figuring. Thank you for the help. Just picked up some lecithin and baby aspirin so I’m all set.The general consensus is that ArA only needs to be dosed on training days, before your workout. You certainly are not alone in your experience. Having preexisting injuries and/or an established inflammatory based disease/condition can definitely lead to exacerbations with ARA supplementation. It’s important to remember that the studies showing no increase in inflammatory markers or negative side effects were done with healthy male subject who likely did not have any preexisting issues before taking the ARA. in your case I’d deff stay away from taking it simply because the risk of reinflaming an old injury could lead to counterproductive results, ie you get hurt again and end up worse off from where you started.as far as the studies state inflammation doesnt occur during ara supplementation, every time I try to take it I get all kinds of aches and pains in my joints and muscles where former injuries occurred. I wish I could continue but never get through a full bottle before its unbearable. With all the results people get from it Id love to give it a full go but Ive tried on 3 separate occasions and never was able to get through a full 50 days. perhaps its my age and injury history but sadly its just not for me.
Already is in my book There is a reason why most non staple supplements from 2006 aren't around anymore and ArA still is.When do we start putting ara next to creatine as one of the best supplements ever.
I'm thinking about running X-Gels after my 2nd bottle of MassMax is gone as ARA supplementation really seems to be getting more and more proven as time goes on. I may even stack X-Gels and MassMax since my training is in the morning (6am), giving me enough time throughout the day to dose MassMax away from X-Gels. Hmm..
Just an FYI but ENhanced Althlete ArA is kind of a scam (or at least super untruthful). They label their supplement so it look like its a large dose but it's actually much more expensive than X gels an X factor. There is discussion on it in this thread. Next time opt for X gelsThis has so much info, it’s insane. Everything makes sense here so thanks for all the mind blowing knowledge. My small question though: what’s the consensus on off days? DAA should be fine. That’s what I was figuring. Thank you for the help. Just picked up some lecithin and baby aspirin so I’m all set.
Lastly, I am running a DAA stack. Should pose no problem correct? I take the pills at night, and don’t workout until about 4-5pm in the day. I know it’s a different product all together but just wanted to make sure there wasn’t an issue.
It is best to avoid using for roughly 6 hours after ARA, but they can still be taken in the same day. Being that it is a COX-2 inhibitor, for maximum ARA benefit just dose further awayI was reading that’s Cissus would be counter productive as well as taking ARA. Are there any joint supplements that I can take that wont interfere with the process? How about Hyaluronic Acid? Gluco/MSM mix?
Understood. Thank you. I was curious because I’ve got a disk that tends to flair up occasionally so I was curious. Although, I feel like cissus doesn’t do that much. I do like my collagen/hyoluranic combo though. It is best to avoid using for roughly 6 hours after ARA, but they can still be taken in the same day. That's fineWould a glucosamine/chondroitin/msm mixture me not advisable during an ARA cycle? Would be spaced out 6+ hours
I tried sending you a PM but your box is full. Wanted to pick your brain with a question or two. That's fine

Two questions.Cleared some space
Take the tr1umph and HCA preworkout with your X gels. I can't comment on the appetite part, but I doubt it will be anything drastic. They might cancel each other out as far as appetite goes? Two questions.
1. I have got the following stack based on your recommendation:
2 bottles X-gels
2 bottles ABE 2 bottles Tr1umph
Two months supple of Garcenia Cambogia(HCA)
Please advise how much and when is the best time to use so as to maximize benefit.
2. Wouldn't the effect of appetite increase that you would get from ABE and the appetite suppression that you would get from HCA be counter productive?
Good question. I can give it a shot, but I'm currently running a progressive overload program that can be quite grueling week to week between rep and weight increases. I feel like my training would suffer without a proper breakfast. I actually meant to mention all of this in my original post above. Maybe I can simply try starting with a lighter breakfast?Fasted training out of the question?
Fasted training out of the question?
You can still dose x gels with a full stomach. It's just not perfectly optimal. It still works VERY well though.I'm getting ready to start an X-Gels run. Before I do, I want to get some opinions on how I'll be stacking it based on my training/eating times.
I'm really only going to run it solo + baby aspirin for now to asses the effects. I'll be using it only on training days (4 day split). Pending how the first bottle goes, I may stack this with MassMax (dosed away from X-Gels due to the epi) as I just had a successful 8-week run with it.
5am - breakfast - almost every day it'll be: four whole eggs, one slice of cheese, one 100 calorie mini bagel, 16g peanut butter (about 500 calories total)
530am - whatever pre I feel like taking that day
615-630am - 1.5g X-Gels, 81mg baby aspirin
Based on my breakfast and X-Gels timing, would you guys say this is enough time after eating to take X-Gels? Unfortunately I don't have much other choice unless I get up earlier perhaps.
I think not much impact but best advice with this like these is to take a little time away from ARA and training. Is orange triad okay to take while taking ARA? Wondering if the joint support has a negative impact .
Yep, sure can. Just space it out away from Ara.Is orange triad okay to take while taking ARA? Wondering if the joint support has a negative impact .
?????Would supplements like follidrone, ep1c, or anabetaelite help with the doms. My job is literally a full body workout. Which makes supplementing ARA a lil rough.
I doubt that, but it's hard to say. I've never found any supps to help with DOMs?????
?????
My initial thought was "rest/sleep more" would be the best supplement in this case.I doubt that, but it's hard to say. I've never found any supps to help with DOMs
Awesome! There is a reason the ArA has been one of the best supps for 10-15 years!Proving once again Ara is one of the best natty anabolics available

That’s enough for the carnitine salts, however it’s inadvisable to consume 2 different salts simultaneously as they’ll compete for absorption. If anything, I’d consume one pre workout with the ArA and one later in the day.Couple of quick questions since it has been a while since I ran this and am beginning tomorrow.
I use both LCLT and ALCAR pre workout. LCLT, 2 grams, ALCAR, 2-3 grams. Is this enough of each?
I know doing is 45 minutes pre workout. I have my pre workout drink 30 minutes pre workout. Can I dose the ArA 45 minutes out, then the drink 15 minutes later?
Opinions about tilapia while using ArA? Not fatty by any means.
Long time Aaron! Welcome backThat’s enough for the carnitine salts, however it’s inadvisable to consume 2 different salts simultaneously as they’ll compete for absorption. If anything, I’d consume one pre workout with the ArA and one later in the day.
That’s fine with the preworkout. When I’ve used ArA, I washed down the X-Gels with a pre workout.
Tilapia is fine. Gross, but fine
