Wondering the same thing.....Hope you are well Sunny!

I have been think and praying for you and your family as well brotha! Missin those crazy updates!

I hope all is going well bro!

thanks for the well wishes guys, i appreciate it. the log will be updated from now on, as it was before.

sorry for the absence. G/F as you know has been told by probation to get back on the opiates, so i've been spending a lot of time to make sure she doesn't relapse, etc. on monday, my son fell on the baseboard of the bed, and got 5 stitches on his skull, so while taking care of the girly girl, i've also been trying to find things for my son to do since he can't go swimming with his stitches in.

i've still been working out, and i think i'm going back to the old split i was doing.
M - chest/tri's/front and mid delts
T - back/bi's/rear delts
W - legs/forearms
Th - chest/tri's/front and mid delts
F - back/bi's/rear delts

additionally, i'm starting college again in the middle of all this junk, and i'm picking up a body sculpting class, so i'll have an hour and a half to get my workouts in versus the hour flat i've been having.

on a sidenote, i hate incarnate. the tinglies drive me insane. first day of dosing i got the ear tinglies which were driving me nuts. the second day nothing. the third day, i got feet tinglies. fourth, glutes and quad tinglies. i absolutely despise how it makes me feel. i'll finish out the bottle cause i hate wasting things, but never again.

again, i appreciate you guys thinking of me, and i'm still hitting the gym. G/F is having panic attacks from fear of relapse, so she usually calls 2x per workout, and my intensity obviously suffers a bit. regardless, i'm still making progress.

i'll upload a pic of my son's stitches post haste.

He's a good looking little man Sunny! Glad to have you back. Life has a way of getting crazy sometimes. As far as the tingles from BA, just take it with carbs and they should not be as pronounced.

brotha, he leans out the window when there's a jogger and says "hi girl". straight up pimpin :)

Here's wishing you, your son, and your girlfriend a lot of strength and perseverance to get through all this as smoothly as possible!

Don't worry Teg... There will be a little scar there left for the ladies.

went grocery shopping. he looked down the isle and saw some hottie wearing short shorts, pointed over to her and said "dada, i want that". i think my shyness as a kid didn't rub off on him :)

lol, that's absolutely awesome.

Tell him he's got another 5 years before he's ready to start f*ckin.

he got his stitches out last weekend :) poor guy couldn't go swimming for 5 days, which must have seemed like a lifetime for a 4 year old. he's doing pretty good now. i'm starting a new routine next week, so i'll start updating this log real soon. thanks for checking in man.

Good To Hear Brotha! Ya, 5days, in cali, and no pool time when your a kid and use to it, gotta be an eternity!

New routine eh?

Hows the strength held up since finishing PCT???

strength.... since the end of the cycle, i haven't lost anything. since the end of PCT, i've lost 5 pounds and one rep on my bench, and one rep on my squats (same weight).

my new routine is going to be a bit wacky. i'm faced with weird timelines to do things and such, so the plan is this : i need to go back to school over the summer, so i'll be taking a weightlifting course so i can get extra gym time in. i still have to run around and drop the kids off/pick them up, so no way can i get into half the classes i want to.

my first workout of the day will be at my normal gym, doing the compound movements i have been, with the same muscle groups rest/paused, one exercise per muscle head. my second workout, i will focus on isolation movements doing a more traditional 3x8, again, one exercise per muscle head, just more sets/reps. i will also do more cardio because my cardiovascular shape sucks, even with swimming - 13 years of smoking really took their toll. i will throw in HIIT and stretching at the end of that.

the additional benefit is that i will not enter catabolism since my workouts will be 45 and 75 minutes respectively, and i carb/protein up before and after them :)

i'm going to have to be very careful of overtraining on this, so i may have to play this by ear.

that's the idea :)

I am happy he's doing well now.

Sunny, that's alot of training going on there with a hectic schedule. Over training red flag here champ....

yep, i'm going to be super careful with overtraining, and i think the second workout of the day will be with much lighter weights.

first workout is at 1:15PM (pre/post carbs and protein), second workout is at 6:30PM (pre/post carbs and protein).

usually it takes me awhile to overtrain, and this is lasting 8 weeks max. i definitely don't want to take it past 8 weeks without a 2 week break.

Ok bubba...just make sure the cals are high.

Just dropping in to say hey, Sunny. Glad your son's alright, and hope things go well with the gf. Good luck with the new training, brother!

The Thundergod here, dropping in as well. Glad the boy is okay. Children always rebound from injury faster than adults.
I like the looks of the new routine. Glad to see you're keeping the heavy-ass compound rest-pause stuff in there. It has treated you really well as it has I.

And I can't keep up the high calories that you youngbloods do. Which sucks, because I really love to eat.

AZ, I know you're 50, how many calories do you put away each day?

I'm probably at 3,500 cals max myself, with lots of protein and healthy fats. Carbs are kept as low as I can possibly stand them. Mostly from wheat flakes cereal, oatmeal, and my beloved sweet potatoes. That's about the jist of the Thunder-diet!!! :food:
And for dessert, I love some poon-tang pie!!! :yup:

TG, sounds like you and I are on the same meal plan bubba. I'm right in the 3500-4000 cal range as well. The carbs stay very low too....the poon-tang pie????

TG! thanks for stopping by man! i'm really looking forward to this new routine, which i'll start on monday. rest/pause really shows me how far i can push myself, and its definitely paid off, especially with regards to functional strength. the size has helped too i'm sure :D

Had me some of that this morning. Depending on who's serving it up, it can be quite a tasty treat!!

That was a Clitorical question Shadow...hehheh

ahh, urban freeflow. i think that's the coolest thing ever for anyone with a sense of balance. unfortunately, i don't have that kind of coordination.

Dude is a freaking ninja. If I could bust anything like that, I would do it EVERYWHERE.
